1 Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood, two and a half cubits long, one and a half cubits wide, and one and a half cubits high.	1 Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood, two and a half cubits long, one and a half cubits wide and oneand a half cubits high.
2 The inside and outside were plated with gold, and a molding of gold was put around it.	2 He overlaid it, inside and out, with pure gold, and made a gold moulding al round it.
3 Four gold rings were cast and put on its four supports, two rings for one side and two for the opposite side.	3 He cast four gold rings for it at its four supports: two rings on one side and two rings on the other.
4 Poles of acacia wood were made and plated with gold;	4 He also made shafts of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold,
5 these were put through the rings on the sides of the ark, for carrying it.	5 and passed the shafts through the rings on the sides of the ark, by which to carry it.
6 The propitiatory was made of pure gold, two and a half cubits long and one and a half cubits wide.	6 He also made a mercy-seat of pure gold, two and a half cubits long and one and a half cubits wide,
7 Two cherubim of beaten gold were made for the two ends of the propitiatory,	7 and model ed two great winged creatures of beaten gold, putting them at the two ends of the mercy-seat,
8 one cherub fastened at one end, the other at the other end, springing directly from the propitiatory at its two ends.	8 one winged creature at one end and the other winged creature at the other end, making the wingedcreatures of a piece with the mercy-seat at either end.
9 The cherubim had their wings spread out above, covering the propitiatory with them. They were turned toward each other, but with their faces looking toward the propitiatory.	9 The winged creatures had their wings spread upwards, protecting the ark with their wings and facingeach other, their faces being towards the mercy-seat.
10 The table was made of acacia wood, two cubits long, one cubit wide, and one and a half cubits high.	10 He made the table of acacia wood, two cubits long, one cubit wide and one and a half cubits high,
11 It was plated with pure gold, and a molding of gold was put around it.	11 and made a gold moulding all round it.
12 A frame a handbreadth high was also put around it, with a molding of gold around the frame.	12 He fitted it with struts a hand's breadth wide and made a gold moulding round the struts.
13 Four rings of gold were cast for it and fastened, one at each of the four corners.	13 He cast four gold rings for it and fixed the rings at the four corners where the four legs were.
14 The rings were alongside the frame as holders for the poles to carry the table.	14 The rings lay close to the struts to hold the shafts for carrying the table.
15 These poles were made of acacia wood and plated with gold.	15 He made the shafts of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold; these were for carrying the table.
16 The vessels that were set on the table, its plates and cups, as well as its pitchers and bowls for pouring libations, were of pure gold.	16 He made the accessories which were to go on the table: its dishes, cups, jars and libation bowls, ofpure gold.
17 The lampstand was made of pure beaten gold--its shaft and branches as well as its cups and knobs and petals springing directly from it.	17 He also made the lamp-stand of pure gold, making the lamp-stand, base and stem, of beaten gold,its cups, calyxes and bud being of a piece with it.
18 Six branches extended from its sides, three branches on one side and three on the other.	18 Six branches sprang from its sides: three of the lamp-stand's branches from one side, three of thelamp-stand's branches from the other.
19 On one branch there were three cups, shaped like almond blossoms, each with its knob and petals; on the opposite branch there were three cups, shaped like almond blossoms, each with its knob and petals; and so for the six branches that extended from the lampstand.	19 The first branch carried three cups shaped like almond blossoms, each with its calyx and bud; thesecond branch, too, carried three cups shaped like almond blossoms, each with its calyx and bud, and similarlyal six branches springing from the lamp-stand.
20 On the shaft there were four cups, shaped like almond blossoms, with their knobs and petals,	20 The lamp-stand itself carried four cups shaped like almond blossoms, each with its calyx and bud:
21 including a knob below each of the three pairs of branches that extended from the lampstand.	21 one calyx under the first two branches springing from the lamp-stand, one calyx under the next pairof branches and one calyx under the last pair of branches -- thus for al six branches springing from the lamp-stand.
22 The knobs and branches sprang so directly from it that the whole formed but a single piece of pure beaten gold.	22 The calyxes and the branches were of a piece with the lamp-stand, and the whole was made from asingle piece of pure gold, beaten out.
23 Its seven lamps, as well as its trimming shears and trays, were made of pure gold.	23 He also made its seven lamps, its snuffers and trays of pure gold.
24 A talent of pure gold was used for the lampstand and its various appurtenances.	24 He made the lamp-stand and all its accessories from a talent of pure gold.
25 The altar of incense was made of acacia wood, on a square, a cubit long, a cubit wide, and two cubits high, having horns that sprang directly from it.	25 He made the altar of incense of acacia wood, one cubit long, and one cubit wide -- it was square --and two cubits high, its horns were of a piece with it.
26 Its grate on top, its walls on all four sides, and its horns were plated with pure gold; and a molding of gold was put around it.	26 He overlaid its top, its sides al round and its horns with pure gold and made a moulding to go alround.
27 Underneath the molding gold rings were placed, two on one side and two on the opposite side, as holders for the poles to carry it.	27 He made two gold rings for it below the moulding on its two opposite sides, to take the shafts usedfor carrying it.
28 The poles, too, were made of acacia wood and plated with gold.	28 He made the shafts of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold.
29 The sacred anointing oil and the fragrant incense were prepared in their pure form by a perfumer.	29 He also made the holy anointing oil and the fragrant incense, blending it as a perfumer would.
