1 És felelt a súhi Bildád, és ezt mondta:	1 Then Bildad the Shuhite answered and said:
2 »Hatalom és félelmetesség van annál, aki rendet teremt magasságaiban.	2 Dominion and awesomeness are his who brings about harmony in his heavens.
3 Van-e száma seregeinek? És kire nem kel fel az ő világossága?	3 Is there any numbering of his troops? Yet to which of them does not his light extend?
4 Lehet-e embernek igaza Istennel szemben, és lehet-e tiszta az asszony szülötte?	4 How can a man be just in God's sight, or how can any woman's child be innocent?
5 Íme, még a hold sem fényes, s a csillagok sem tiszták szeme előtt:	5 Behold, even the moon is not bright and the stars are not clear in his sight.
6 Mennyivel kevésbé az ember, aki rothadás, s az ember fia, aki féreg!«	6 How much less man, who is but a maggot, the son of man, who is only a worm?
