1 Unto the end, for them that shall he changed, a testimony for Asaph, a psalm.	1 Del maestro de coro. Según la melodía: «Lirios es el dictamen». De Asaf. Salmo.
2 Give ear, O thou that rulest Israel: thou that leadest Joseph like a sheep. Thou that sittest upon the cherubims, shine forth	2 Pastor de Israel, escucha, tú que guías a José como un rebaño; tú que estás sentado entre querubes, resplandece
3 before Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasses. Stir up thy might, and come to save us.	3 ante Efraím, Benjamín y Manasés; ¡despierta tu poderío, y ven en nuestro auxilio!
4 Convert us, O God: and shew us thy face, and we shall be saved.	4 ¡Oh Dios, haznos volver, y que brille tu rostro, para que seamos salvos!
5 O Lord God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy servant?	5 ¿Hasta cuándo, oh Yahveh Dios Sebaot, estarás airado contra la plegaria de tu pueblo?
6 How long wilt thou feed us with the bread of tears: and give us for our drink tears in measure?	6 Les das a comer un pan de llanto les haces beber lágrimas al triple;
7 Thou hast made us to be a contradiction to our neighbours: and our enemies have scoffed at us.	7 habladuría nos haces de nuestros convecinos, y nuestros enemigos se burlan de nosotros.
8 O God of hosts, convert us: and shew thy face, and we shall be saved.	8 ¡Oh Dios Sebaot, haznos volver, y brille tu rostro, para que seamos salvos!
9 Thou hast brought a vineyard out of Egypt: thou hast cast cut the Gentiles and planted it.	9 Una viña de Egipto arrancaste, expulsaste naciones para plantarla a ella,
10 Thou wast the guide of its journey in its sight: thou plantedst the roots thereof, and it filled the land.	10 le preparaste el suelo, y echó raíces y llenó la tierra.
11 The shadow of it covered the hills: and the branches thereof the cedars of God.	11 Su sombra cubría las montañas, sus pámpanos los cedros de Dios;
12 It stretched forth its branches unto the sea, and its boughs unto the river.	12 extendía sus sarmientos hasta el mar, hasta el Río sus renuevos.
13 Why hast thou broken down the hedge thereof, so that all they who pass by the way do pluck it?	13 ¿Por qué has hecho brecha en sus tapias, para que todo el que pasa por el camino la vendimie,
14 The boar out of the wood hath laid it waste: and a singular wild beast hath devoured it.	14 el jabalí salvaje la devaste, y la pele el ganado de los campos?
15 Turn again, O God of hosts, look down from heaven, and see, and visit this vineyard:	15 ¡Oh Dios Sebaot, vuélvete ya, desde los cielos mira y ve, visita a esta viña,
16 And perfect the same which thy right hand hath planted: and upon the son of man whom thou hast confirmed for thyself.	16 cuídala, a ella, la que plantó tu diestra!
17 Things set on fire and dug down shall perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.	17 ¡Los que fuego le prendieron, cual basura, a la amenaza de tu faz perezcan!
18 Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand: and upon the son of man whom thou hast confirmed for thyself.	18 Esté tu mano sobre el hombre de tu diestra, sobre el hijo de Adán que para ti fortaleciste.
19 And we depart not from thee, thou shalt quicken us: and we will call upon thy name.	19 Ya no volveremos a apartarnos de ti; nos darás vida y tu nombre invocaremos.
20 O Lord God of hosts, convert us: and shew thy face, and we shall be saved.	20 ¡Oh Yahveh, Dios Sebaot, haznos volver, y que brille tu rostro, para que seamos salvos!
