1 Unto the end, for the sons of Core.	1 - Salmo-cantico de' figliuoli di Core. Per il secondo giorno della settimana.
2 O clap your hands, all ye nations: shout unto God with the voice of Joy,	2 Grande è il Signore e altamente da lodare nella città del nostro Dio, sul monte santo di lui.
3 For the Lord is high, terrible: a great king over all the earth.	3 Sta saldo [e si solleva magnifico] tra l'esultanza di tutta la terra, il monte Sion. Il lato di settentrioneè la città del gran re.
4 He hath subdued the people under us; and the nations under our feet.	4 Iddio ne' suoi palazzi, si fa conoscere, quando la difende.
5 He hath chosen for us his inheritance the beauty of Jacob which he hath loved.	5 Perchè, ecco i re della terra s'adunarono, s'avanzarono insieme [contro di lei];
6 God is ascended with jubilee, and the Lord with the sound of trumpet.	6 [ma] al veder[lo] restaron sbalorditi, furon turbati, volsero in fuga.
7 Sing praises to our God, sing ye: sing praises to our king, sing ye.	7 Tremore li colse là, doglie come di partoriente:
8 For God is the king of all the earth: sing ye wisely.	8 [così] col vento furente tu infrangile navi di Tarsis!
9 God shall reign over the nations: God sitteth on his holy throne.	9 Come avevamo [già] udito, così abbiamo [ora] visto nella città del Signore delle schierenella città del nostro Dio: iddio l'ha stabilita in eterno!
10 The princes of the people are gathered together, with the God of Abraham: for the strong gods of the earth are exceedingly exalted.	10 Noi meditiamo, o Dio, il tuo favorenel mezzo del tuo tempio.
	11 Come il tuo nome, così la tua lode, [si spande] sino ai confini della terra. Di giustizia è piena la tua destra:
	12 si rallegra il monte Sioned esultan le figlie di Giuda, a motivo, de' tuoi giudizi, o Signore.
	13 Circondate Sion e giratele intorno, contate le sue torri,
	14 ponete mente alla sua fortezza, contemplate i suoi palazzi, per raccontare alla generazione ventura,
	15 che tale è Iddio, il Dio nostro in eterno e ne' secoli. Egli ci governerà in perpetuo!
