Psalms 148

1 Praise ye the Lord, because psalm is good: to our God be joyful and comely praise.	1 Hallelujah! Praise the LORD from the heavens; give praise in the heights.
2 The Lord buildeth up Jerusalem: he will gather together the dispersed of Israel.	2 Praise him, all you angels; give praise, all you hosts.
3 Who healeth the broken of heart, and bindeth up their bruises.	3 Praise him, sun and moon; give praise, all shining stars.
4 Who telleth the number of the stars: and calleth them all by their names.	4 Praise him, highest heavens, you waters above the heavens.
5 Great is our Lord, and great is his power: and of his wisdom there is no number.	5 Let them all praise the LORD'S name; for the LORD commanded and they were created,
6 The Lord lifteth up the meek, and bringeth the wicked down even to the ground.	6 Assigned them duties forever, gave them tasks that will never change.
7 Sing ye to the Lord with praise: sing to our God upon the harp.	7 Praise the LORD from the earth, you sea monsters and all deep waters;
8 Who covereth the heaven with clouds, and prepareth rain for the earth. Who maketh grass to grow on the mountains, and herbs for the service of men.	8 You lightning and hail, snow and clouds, storm winds that fulfill his command;
9 Who giveth to beasts their food: and to the young ravens that call upon him.	9 You mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars;
10 He shall not delight in the strength of the horse: nor take pleasure in the legs of a man.	10 You animals wild and tame, you creatures that crawl and fly;
11 The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him: and in them that hope in his mercy.	11 You kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all who govern on earth;
	12 Young men and women too, old and young alike.
	13 Let them all praise the LORD'S name, for his name alone is exalted, majestic above earth and heaven.
	14 The LORD has lifted high the horn of his people; to the glory of all the faithful, of Israel, the people near to their God. Hallelujah!
