Psalms 148

DOUAI-RHEIMS	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Praise ye the Lord, because psalm is good: to our God be joyful and comely praise.	1 ¡Aleluya! Alaben al Señor desde el cielo, alábenlo en las alturas;
2 The Lord buildeth up Jerusalem: he will gather together the dispersed of Israel.	2 alábenlo, todos sus ángeles, alábenlo, todos sus ejércitos.
3 Who healeth the broken of heart, and bindeth up their bruises.	3 Alábenlo, sol y luna, alábenlo, astros luminosos;
4 Who telleth the number of the stars: and calleth them all by their names.	4 alábenlo, espacios celestiales y aguas que están sobre el cielo.
5 Great is our Lord, and great is his power: and of his wisdom there is no number.	5 Alaben el nombre del Señor, porque él lo ordenó, y fueron creados;
6 The Lord lifteth up the meek, and bringeth the wicked down even to the ground.	6 él los afianzó para siempre, estableciendo una ley que no pasará.
7 Sing ye to the Lord with praise: sing to our God upon the harp.	7 Alaben al Señor desde la tierra, los cetáceos y los abismos del mar;
8 Who covereth the heaven with clouds, and prepareth rain for the earth. Who maketh grass to grow on the mountains, and herbs for the service of men.	8 el rayo, el granizo, la nieve, la bruma, y el viento huracanado que obedece a sus órdenes.
9 Who giveth to beasts their food: and to the young ravens that call upon him.	9 Las montañas y todas las colinas, los árboles frutales y todos los cedros;
10 He shall not delight in the strength of the horse: nor take pleasure in the legs of a man.	10 las fieras y los animales domésticos, los reptiles y los pájaros alados.
11 The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him: and in them that hope in his mercy.	11 Los reyes de la tierra y todas las naciones, los príncipes y los gobernantes de la tierra;
	12 los ancianos, los jóvenes y los niños,
	13 alaben el nombre del Señor. Porque sólo su Nombre es sublime; su majestad está sobre el cielo y la tierra,
	14 y él exalta la fuerza de su pueblo. ¡A él, la alabanza de todos sus fieles, y de Israel, el pueblo de sus amigos! ¡Aleluya!
