1 Now the sons of Issachar were Thola, and Phua, Jasub and Simeron, four.	1 The sons of Issachar were Tola, Puah, Jashub, and Shimron: four.
2 The sons of Thola: Ozi and Raphaia, and Jeriel, and Jemai, and Jebsem, and Samuel, chiefs of the houses of their kindreds. Of the posterity of Thola were numbered in the days of David, two and twenty thousand six hundred most valiant men.	2 The sons of Tola were Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam, and Shemuel, warrior heads of the ancestral houses of Tola. Their kindred numbered twenty-two thousand six hundred in the time of David.
3 The sons of Ozi: Izrahia, of whom were born Michael, and Obadia, and Joel, and Jesia, five all great men.	3 The sons of Uzzi: Izarahiah. The sons of Izarahiah were Michael, Obadiah, Joel, and Isshiah. All five of these were chiefs.
4 And there were with them by their families and peoples, six and thirty thousand most valiant men ready for war: for they had many wives and children.	4 Their kindred, by ancestral houses, numbered thirty-six thousand men in organized military troops, since they had more wives and sons
5 Their brethren also throughout all the house of Issachar, were numbered fourscore and seven thousand most valiant men for war.	5 than their fellow tribesmen. In all the clans of Issachar there was a total of eighty-seven thousand warriors in their family records.
6 The sons of s Benjamin were Bela, and Bechor, and Jadihel, three.	6 The sons of Benjamin were Bela, Becher, and Jediael--three.
7 The sons of Bela: Esbon, and Ozi, and Ozial, and Jerimoth and Urai, five chiefs of their families, and most valiant warriors, and their number was twenty-two thousand and thirty-four.	7 The sons of Bela were Ezbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jerimoth, and Iri--five. They were heads of their ancestral houses and warriors. Their family records listed twenty-two thousand and thirty-four.
8 And the sons of Bechor were Zamira, and Joas, and Eliezer, and Elioenai, and Amai, and Jerimoth, and Abia, and Anathoth, and Almath: all these were the sons of Bechor.	8 The sons of Becher were Zemirah, Joash, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jeremoth, Abijah, Anathoth, and Alemeth--all these were sons of Becher.
9 And they were numbered by the families, heads of their kindreds, most valiant men for war, twenty thousand and two hundred.	9 Their family records listed twenty thousand two hundred of their kindred who were heads of their ancestral houses and warriors.
10 And the son of Jadihel: Balan. And the sons of Balan: Jehus and Benjamin and Aod, and Chanana, and Zethan and Tharsis, and Ahisahar.	10 The sons of Jediael: Bilhan. The sons of Bilhan were Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Chenaanah, Zethan, Tarshish, and Ahishahar.
11 All these were sons of Jadihel, heads of their kindreds, most valiant men, seventeen thousand and two hundred fit to go out to war.	11 All these were descendants of Jediael, heads of ancestral houses and warriors. They numbered seventeen thousand two hundred men fit for military service. . . Shupham and Hupham.
12 Sepham also and Hapham the sons of Hir: and Hasim the sons of Aher.	12 The sons of Dan: Hushim.
13 And the sons of Nephtali were Jasiel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Sellum, sons of Bala.	13 The sons of Naphtali were Jahziel, Guni, Jezer, and Shallum. These were descendants of Bilhah.
14 And the son of Manasses, Ezriel: and his concubine the Syrian bore Machir the father of Galaad.	14 The sons of Manasseh, whom his Aramean concubine bore: she bore Machir, the father of Gilead.
15 And Machir took wives for his sons Happhim, and Saphan: and he had a sister named Maacha: the name of the second was Salphaad, and Salphaad had daughters.	15 Machir took a wife whose name was Maacah; his sister's name was Molecheth. Manasseh's second son was named Zelophehad, but to Zelophehad only daughters were born.
16 And Maacha the wife of Machir bore a son, and she called his name Phares: and the name of his brother was Sares: and his sons were Ulam and Recen.	16 Maacah, Machir's wife, bore a son whom she named Peresh. He had a brother named Sheresh, whose sons were Ulam and Rakem.
17 And the son of Ulam, Baden. These are the sons of Galaad, the son of Machir the son of Manasses.	17 The sons of Ulam: Bedan. These were the descendants of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh.
18 And his sister named Queen bore Goodlyman, and Abiezer, and Mohola.	18 His sister Molecheth bore Ishhod, Abiezer, and Mahlah.
19 And the sons of Semida were Ahiu, and Sechem, and Leci and Aniam.	19 The sons of Shemida were Ahian, Shechem, Likhi, and Aniam.
20 And the sons of Ephraim were Suthala, Bared his son, Thahath his son, Elada his son, Thahath his son, and his son Zabad,	20 The sons of Ephraim: Shuthelah, whose son was Bered, whose son was Tahath, whose son was Eleadah, whose son was Tahath,
21 And his son Suthala, and his son Ezer, and Elad: and the men of Geth born in the land slew them, because they came down to invade their possessions.	21 whose son was Zabad. Ephraim's son Shuthelah, and Ezer and Elead, who were born in the land, were slain by the inhabitants of Gath because they had gone down to take away their livestock.
22 And Ephraim their father mourned many days, and his brethren came to comfort him.	22 Their father Ephraim mourned a long time, but after his kinsmen had come and comforted him,
23 And he went in to his wife: and she conceived and bore a son, and he called his name Beria, because he was born when it went evil with his house:	23 he visited his wife, who conceived and bore a son whom he named Beriah, since evil had befallen his house.
24 And his daughter was Sara, who built Bethoron, the nether and the upper, and Ozensara.	24 He had a daughter, Sheerah, who built lower and upper Beth-horon and Uzzen-sheerah.
25 And Rapha was his son, and Reseph, and Thale, of whom was born Thaan,	25 Zabad's son was Rephah, whose son was Resheph, whose son was Telah, whose son was Tahan,
26 Who begot Laadan: and his son was Ammiud, who beget Elisama,	26 whose son was Ladan, whose son was Ammihud, whose son was Elishama,
27 Of whom was born Nun, who had Josue for his son.	27 whose son was Nun, whose son was Joshua.
28 And their possessions and habitations were Bethel with her daughters, and eastward Noran, and westward Gazer and her daughters, Sichem also with her daughters, as far as Ass with her daughters.	28 Their property and their dwellings were in Bethel and its towns, Naaran to the east, Gezer and its towns to the west, and also Shechem and its towns as far as Ayyah and its towns.
29 And by the borders of the sons of Manasses Bethsan and her daughters, Thanach and her daughters, Mageddo and her daughters: Dor and her daughters: in these dwelt the children of Joseph, the son of Israel.	29 Manasseh, however, had possession of Beth-shean and its towns, Taanach and its towns, Megiddo and its towns, and Dor and its towns. In these dwelt the descendants of Joseph, the son of Israel.
30 The children of Aser were Jemna, and Jesua, and Jessui, and Baria, and Sara their sister.	30 The sons of Asher were Imnah, Iishvah, Ishvi, and Beriah; their sister was Serah.
31 ,31And the sons of Baria: Haber, and Melchiel: he is the father of Barsaith.	31 Beriah's sons were Heber and Malchiel, who was the father of Birzaith.
32 And Heber beget Jephlat, and Somer, and Hotham, and Suaa their sister.	32 Heber became the father of Japhlet, Shomer, Hotham, and their sister Shua.
33 The sons of Jephlat: Phosech, and Chamaal, and Asoth: these are the sons of Jephlat.	33 The sons of Japhlet were Pasach, Bimhal, and Ashvath; these were the sons of Japhlet.
34 And the sons of Somer: Ahi, and Roaga, and Haba, and Aram.	34 The sons of Shomer were Ahi, Rohgah, Jehubbah, and Aram.
35 And the sons of Helem his brother: Supha, and Jemna, and Selles, and Amal.	35 The sons of his brother Hotham were Zophah, Imna, Shelesh, and Amal.
36 The sons of Supha: Sue, Hernapher, and Sual, and Beri, and Jamra.	36 The sons of Zophah were Suah, Harnepher, Shual, Beri, Imrah,
37 Bosor and Hod, and Samma, and Salusa, and Jethran, and Bera.	37 Bezer, Hod, Shamma, Shilshah, Ithran, and Beera.
38 The sons of Jether: Jephone, and Phaspha, and Ara.	38 The sons of Jether were Jephunneh, Pispa, and Ara.
39 And the sons of Olla: Aree, and Haniel, and Resia.	39 The sons of Ulla were Arah, Hanniel, and Rizia.
40 All these were sons of Aser, heads of their families, choice and most valiant captains of captains: and the number of them that were of the age that was fit for war, was six and twenty thousand.	40 All these were descendants of Asher, heads of ancestral houses, distinguished men, warriors, and chiefs among the princes. Their family records numbered twenty-six thousand men fit for military service.
