2 A ti, oh Dios, te corresponde un canto de alabanza en Sión, y todos tienen que cumplir sus votos,	2 To you we owe our hymn of praise, O God on Zion; To you our vows must be fulfilled,
3 porque tú escuchas las plegarias. A ti acuden todos los hombres	3 you who hear our prayers. To you all flesh must come
4 bajo el peso de sus culpas; nuestras faltas nos abruman, pero tú las perdonas.	4 with its burden of wicked deeds. We are overcome by our sins; only you can pardon them.
5 Feliz el que tú eliges y atraes para que viva en tus atrios: ¡que nos saciemos con los bienes de tu Casa, con los dones sagrados de tu Templo!	5 Happy the chosen ones you bring to dwell in your courts. May we be filled with the good things of your house, the blessings of your holy temple!
6 Por tu justicia, Dios, salvador nuestro, nos respondes con obras admirables: tú eres la esperanza de los confines de la tierra y de las islas más remotas.	6 You answer us with awesome deeds of justice, O God our savior, The hope of all the ends of the earth and of far distant islands.
7 Tú afianzas las montañas con tu poder, revestido de fortaleza;	7 You are robed in power, you set up the mountains by your might.
8 acallas el rugido de los mares, el estruendo de las olas y el tumulto de los pueblos.	8 You still the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, the tumult of the peoples.
9 Los que habitan en las tierras más lejanas temen tus obras prodigiosas; tú haces que canten de alegría el oriente y el occidente.	9 Distant peoples stand in awe of your marvels; east and west you make resound with joy.
10 Visitas la tierra, la haces fértil y la colmas de riquezas; los canales de Dios desbordan de agua, y así preparas sus trigales:	10 You visit the earth and water it, make it abundantly fertile. God's stream is filled with water; with it you supply the world with grain. Thus do you prepare the earth:
11 riegas los surcos de la tierra, emparejas sus terrones; la ablandas con aguaceros y bendices sus brotes.	11 you drench plowed furrows, and level their ridges. With showers you keep the ground soft, blessing its young sprouts.
12 Tú coronas el año con tus bienes, y a tu paso rebosa la abundancia;	12 You adorn the year with your bounty; your paths drip with fruitful rain.
13 rebosan los pastos del desierto y las colinas se ciñen de alegría.	13 The untilled meadows also drip; the hills are robed with joy.
14 Las praderas se cubren de rebaños y los valles se revisten de trigo: todos ellos aclaman y cantan.	14 The pastures are clothed with flocks, the valleys blanketed with grain; they cheer and sing for joy.
