EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS	NEW AMERICAN BIBLE
1 ¡Aleluya! ¡Qué bueno es cantar a nuestro Dios, qué agradable y merecida es su alabanza!	1 Hallelujah! How good to celebrate our God in song; how sweet to give fitting praise.
2 El Señor reconstruye a Jerusalén y congrega a los dispersos de Israel;	2 The LORD rebuilds Jerusalem, gathers the dispersed of Israel,
3 sana a los que están afligidos y les venda las heridas.	3 Heals the brokenhearted, binds up their wounds,
4 El cuenta el número de las estrellas y llama a cada una por su nombre:	4 Numbers all the stars, calls each of them by name.
5 nuestro Señor es grande y poderoso, su inteligencia no tiene medida.	5 Great is our Lord, vast in power, with wisdom beyond measure.
6 El Señor eleva a los oprimidos y humilla a los malvados hasta el polvo.	6 The LORD sustains the poor, but casts the wicked to the ground.
7 Respondan al Señor dándole gracias, toquen la cítara para nuestro Dios.	7 Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; with the lyre celebrate our God,
8 El cubre el cielo de nubes y provee de lluvia a la tierra; hace brotar la hierba en las montañas y las plantas para provecho del hombre;	8 Who covers the heavens with clouds, provides rain for the earth, makes grass sprout on the mountains,
9 dispensa su alimento al ganado, y a los pichones de cuervo que claman a él.	9 Who gives animals their food and ravens what they cry for.
10 No le agrada el vigor de los caballos ni valora los músculos del hombre:	10 God takes no delight in the strength of horses, no pleasure in the runner's stride.
11 el Señor ama a los que lo temen y a los que esperan en su misericordia.	11 Rather the LORD takes pleasure in the devout, those who await his faithful care.
12 ¡Glorifica al Señor, Jerusalén, alaba a tu Dios, Sión!	12 Glorify the LORD, Jerusalem; Zion, offer praise to your God,
13 El reforzó los cerrojos de tus puertas y bendijo a tus hijos dentro de ti;	13 Who has strengthened the bars of your gates, blessed your children within you,
14 él asegura la paz en tus fronteras y te sacia con lo mejor del trigo.	14 Brought peace to your borders, and filled you with finest wheat.
15 Envía su mensaje a la tierra, su palabra corre velozmente;	15 The LORD sends a command to earth; his word runs swiftly!
16 reparte la nieve como lana y esparce la escarcha como ceniza.	16 Thus snow is spread like wool, frost is scattered like ash,
17 El arroja su hielo como migas, y las aguas se congelan por el frío;	17 Hail is dispersed like crumbs; before such cold the waters freeze.
18 da una orden y se derriten, hace soplar su viento y corren las aguas.	18 Again he sends his word and they melt; the wind is unleashed and the waters flow.
19 Revela su palabra a Jacob, sus preceptos y mandatos a Israel:	19 The LORD also proclaims his word to Jacob, decrees and laws to Israel.
20 a ningún otro pueblo trató así ni le dio a conocer sus mandamientos. ¡Aleluya!	20 God has not done this for other nations; of such laws they know nothing. Hallelujah!
