BIBLES DES PEUPLES	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Regroupez-vous, rassemblez-vous, peuple sans pudeur,	1 Gather together, gather together, nations without shame,
2 il est temps que vous soyez chassés comme bale soufflée en un jour, il est temps que vienne sur vous le jour des fureurs de Yahvé!	2 before you are dispersed like chaff which disappears in a day; before Yahweh's burning angerovertakes you (before the Day of Yahweh's anger overtakes you).
3 Et vous, les humbles, vous qui mettez en pratique les commandements, vous qui avez le souci de rester droits et humbles, cherchez Yahvé: peut-être serez-vous épargnés au jour de la fureur de Yahvé.	3 Seek Yahweh, al you humble of the earth, who obey his commands. Seek uprightness, seek humility:you may perhaps find shelter on the Day of Yahweh's anger.
4 Sachez-le, Gaza sera abandonnée, Ashkélon deviendra un désert, les gens d’Ashdod seront chassés en plein jour, Ékron sera déraciné.	4 For Gaza wil be abandoned and Ashkelon reduced to ruins; Ashdod wil be driven out in broad daylightand Ekron uprooted.
5 Malheur aux habitants de la Ligue de la côte, à la nation des Kérétiens! Car voici une parole de Yahvé contre vous: “Je vais te faire disparaître, Canaan; terre des Philistins, tu n’auras plus d’habitants!”	5 Disaster to the members of the coastal league, to the nation of the Cherethites! This is the word of Yahweh against you: I shal subdue you, land of the Philistines, I shal destroy you til there are no inhabitantsleft;
6 La Ligue de la côte sera réduite à l’état de pâturage, ce seront des prés pour les bergers, des enclos pour les moutons.	6 and the coastal league wil be reduced to pasture land, to grazing grounds for shepherds and folds forsheep;
7 Ils appartiendront aux rapatriés de la maison de Juda, qui y conduiront leurs troupeaux. Au soir ils se reposeront dans les maisons d’Ashkélon, car Yahvé leur Dieu se souviendra d’eux et lui-même les rétablira.	7 and the league will belong to the remnant of the House of Judah; they will pasture their flocks there, atnight they wil rest in the houses of Ashkelon; for, when Yahweh their God has punished them, he wil restoretheir fortunes.
8 J’ai entendu les insultes de Moab et les moqueries d’Ammon lorsqu’ils insultaient mon peuple et s’agrandissaient aux dépens de son territoire.	8 I have heard the taunt of Moab and the insults of the Ammonites, as they taunted my people andboasted of their own domains.
9 C’est pourquoi, aussi vrai que je suis vivant - parole de Yahvé Sabaot, le Dieu d’Israël: Moab deviendra comme Sodome, et Ammon comme Gomorrhe, une terre livrée aux orties, une carrière de sel, un désert pour toujours; le reste de mon peuple les pillera, les survivants de ma nation les recevront en héritage.	9 For this, as I live -- declares Yahweh Sabaoth, God of Israel -- Moab wil become like Sodom and theAmmonites like Gomorrah: a realm of nettles, a heap of salt, a desolation for ever. What is left of my people willplunder them, the survivors of my nation wil take their heritage.
10 Ce sera le prix de leur orgueil, car ils ont méprisé et insulté le peuple de Yahvé Sabaot.	10 This will be the price of their pride for having taunted and boasted over the people of YahwehSabaoth.
11 Yahvé deviendra leur terreur, il anéantira tous les dieux de la terre; devant lui se prosterneront tous ceux qui habitent les îles des païens, chacun dans son propre pays.	11 Yahweh wil be fearsome to them, for he wil scatter al the gods of the earth, and they wil bow downto him, each from his own place -- al the islands of the nations.
12 Vous aussi, Éthiopiens, mon épée vous transpercera.	12 You Ethiopians too wil be run through by my sword.
13 Il lèvera encore la main contre le Nord et réduira l’Assyrie en ruines, il fera de Ninive une solitude, une terre aride, un désert.	13 He will raise his hand against the north and bring Assyria down in ruins; he will make Nineveh a waste,as dry as a desert.
14 Sur son sol les troupeaux se reposeront, les animaux de toutes sortes. Le pélican, le hérisson, passeront la nuit entre ses pierres sculptées; un oiseau chantera sur la fenêtre, un corbeau devant la porte; les panneaux de cèdre auront été arrachés.	14 Flocks will rest inside there, so will wild animals; pelican and porcupine wil nest round her cornices atnight; the owl wil hoot at the window and the raven croak on the doorstep -- for the cedar has been torn down.
15 Voilà pour la ville joyeuse qui trônait en paix et se disait: “Moi et rien que moi!” Mais elle n’est plus qu’une ruine, le domaine des animaux sauvages. Tous ceux qui passent auprès d’elle sifflent et battent des mains.	15 This is what the city wil be like, once living happy and carefree and thinking to itself, 'I have no rival --not I!' And what will it be now? A ruin, a lair for wild beasts to rest in, and everyone who passes by wil whistleand throw up his hands.
