1 “En ce temps-là se lèvera Michel, le grand prince, celui qui défend les enfants de ton peuple; car ce sera un temps de détresse comme il n’y en a pas eu depuis qu’il existe des peuples jusqu’à ce jour. En ce temps-là sera sauvé ton peuple, tous ceux qui sont inscrits dans le Livre.	1 “But at that time Michael will rise up, the great leader, who stands up for the sons of your people. And a time will come, such as has not been from the time that nations began, even until that time. And, at that time, your people will be saved, all who will be found written in the book.
2 Beaucoup de ceux qui dorment au pays de la poussière se réveilleront, les uns pour la vie éternelle, les autres pour la honte et l’horreur éternelle.	2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth will awaken: some to everlasting life, and others to a reproach that they will always see.
3 “Ceux qui ont la connaissance brilleront comme un ciel resplendissant, ceux qui auront conduit les autres à la justice brilleront comme les étoiles pour les siècles des siècles.	3 But those who have taught will shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who instruct many towards justice, like the stars for unending eternity.
4 Toi, Daniel, garde secrètes ces paroles, qu’elles soient comme un livre scellé jusqu’au temps de la fin; beaucoup chercheront ici et là et l’injustice ira en grandissant.”	4 But you, Daniel, close the message and seal the book, until the established time. Many will pass through, and knowledge will be increased.”
5 Comme je levais les yeux, moi Daniel, je vis deux autres hommes qui se tenaient sur l’une et l’autre rive du fleuve.	5 And I, Daniel, looked, and behold, similarly two others stood up, one over here, on the bank of the river, and the other over there, on the other bank of the river.
6 L’un des deux dit à l’homme vêtu de lin qui était au-dessus des eaux du fleuve: “Quand s’accompliront ces choses prodigieuses?”	6 And I said to the man, who was clothed in linen, who stood over the waters of the river, “How long will it be until the end of these wonders?”
7 L’homme vêtu de lin qui était au-dessus des eaux du fleuve leva alors ses deux mains vers le ciel et je l’entendis qui faisait ce serment par celui qui vit éternellement: “Tout se réalisera dans un temps, des temps et un demi-temps. C’est lorsque le peuple saint sera complètement écrasé et sans force, que toutes ces choses s’accompliront.”	7 And I heard the man, who was clothed in linen, who stood over the waters of the river, when he had lifted his right hand and his left hand up to heaven, and had sworn by He who lives forever, that it would be for a time, and times, and half a time. And when the dispersion of the hand of the holy people is completed, all these things will be completed.
8 J’entendais, mais je ne comprenais pas. Je posai donc cette question: “Mon Seigneur, comment sera la fin des choses?”	8 And I heard and did not understand. And I said, “My lord, what will be after these things?”
9 Il me répondit: “Va, Daniel, ces choses resteront secrètes et cachées jusqu’au temps de la fin.	9 And he said, “Go, Daniel, for the words are closed and sealed until the predetermined time.
10 Beaucoup seront purifiés, blanchis et mis à l’épreuve, les méchants feront le mal et aucun d’eux ne saura, mais ceux qui ont la connaissance comprendront.	10 Many will be chosen and purified, and, as if by fire, they will be tested, and the impious will act impiously, and none of the impious will understand, yet the teachers will understand.
11 Depuis le jour où l’on supprimera le sacrifice perpétuel et où sera dressée l’Abomination de la Désolation, il s’écoulera 1 290 jours.	11 And from the time when the continual sacrifice will be taken away and the abomination of desolation will be set up, there will be one thousand two hundred ninety days.
12 Heureux celui qui tiendra et arrivera à 1 335 jours.	12 Blessed is he who waits and reaches until one thousand three hundred thirty-five days.
13 Quant à toi, Daniel, va jusqu’au bout de ton chemin; tu te reposeras, et puis tu te lèveras à la fin des jours pour recevoir ta part.”	13 But you, go, until the predetermined time, and you will rest and will stand in your allotted place at the end of days.
