1 Kad prođe subota, Marija Magdalena i Marija Jakovljeva i Saloma kupiše miomirisâ da odu pomazati Isusa.	1 When the Sabbath was over, Mary of Magdala, Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spiceswith which to go and anoint him.
2 I prvoga dana u tjednu, veoma rano, o izlasku sunčevu, dođu na grob.	2 And very early in the morning on the first day of the week they went to the tomb when the sun hadrisen.
3 I razgovarahu među sobom: »Tko će nam otkotrljati kamen s vrata grobnih?«	3 They had been saying to one another, 'Who wil rol away the stone for us from the entrance to thetomb?'
4 Pogledaju, a ono kamen otkotrljan. Bijaše doista veoma velik.	4 But when they looked they saw that the stone -- which was very big -- had already been rol ed back.
5 I ušavši u grob, ugledaju mladića zaogrnuta bijelom haljinom gdje sjedi zdesna. I preplaše se.	5 On entering the tomb they saw a young man in a white robe seated on the right-hand side, and theywere struck with amazement.
6 A on će im: »Ne plašite se! Isusa tražite, Nazarećanina, Raspetoga? Uskrsnu! Nije ovdje! Evo mjesta kamo ga položiše.	6 But he said to them, 'There is no need to be so amazed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, whowas crucified: he has risen, he is not here. See, here is the place where they laid him.
7 Nego idite, recite njegovim učenicima i Petru: Ide pred vama u Galileju! Ondje ćete ga vidjeti kako vam reče!«	7 But you must go and tel his disciples and Peter, "He is going ahead of you to Galilee; that is where you wil see him, just as he told you." '
8 One iziđu i stanu bježati od groba: spopade ih strah i trepet. I nikomu ništa ne rekoše jer se bojahu.	8 And the women came out and ran away from the tomb because they were frightened out of their wits;and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.
9 Uskrsnuvši dakle rano prvog dana u tjednu, ukaza se najprije Mariji Magdaleni iz koje bijaše istjerao sedam zloduha.	9 Having risen in the morning on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary of Magdala fromwhom he had cast out seven devils.
10 Ona ode i dojavi njegovima, tužnima i zaplakanima.	10 She then went to those who had been his companions, and who were mourning and in tears, andtold them.
11 Kad su oni čuli da je živ i da ga je ona vidjela, ne povjerovaše.	11 But they did not believe her when they heard her say that he was alive and that she had seen him.
12 Nakon toga ukazao se u drugome obličju dvojici od njih na putu dok su išli u selo.	12 After this, he showed himself under another form to two of them as they were on their way into thecountry.
13 I oni odu i dojave drugima. Ni njima ne povjerovaše.	13 These went back and told the others, who did not believe them either.
14 Napokon se ukaza jedanaestorici dok bijahu za stolom. Prekori njihovu nevjeru i okorjelost srca što ne povjerovaše onima koji ga vidješe uskrsla od mrtvih.	14 Lastly, he showed himself to the Eleven themselves while they were at table. He reproached them fortheir incredulity and obstinacy, because they had refused to believe those who had seen him after he had risen.
15 I reče im: »Pođite po svem svijetu, propovijedajte evanđelje svemu stvorenju.	15 And he said to them, 'Go out to the whole world; proclaim the gospel to al creation.
16 Tko uzvjeruje i pokrsti se, spasit će se, a tko ne uzvjeruje, osudit će se.	16 Whoever believes and is baptised wil be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned.
17 A ovi će znakovi pratiti one koji uzvjeruju: u ime će moje izganjati zloduhe, novim će jezicima zboriti,	17 These are the signs that will be associated with believers: in my name they wil cast out devils; theywil have the gift of tongues;
18 zmije uzimati; i popiju li što smrtonosno, ne, neće im nauditi; na nemoćnike će ruke polagati, i bit će im dobro.«	18 they wil pick up snakes in their hands and be unharmed should they drink deadly poison; they wil laytheir hands on the sick, who wil recover.'
19 I Gospodin Isus, pošto im to reče, bude uzet na nebo i sjede zdesna Bogu.	19 And so the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven; there at the righthand of God he took his place,
20 Oni pak odoše i propovijedahu posvuda, a Gospodin surađivaše i utvrđivaše Riječ popratnim znakovima.	20 while they, going out, preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word bythe signs that accompanied it.
