BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Cántico. Salmo. De los hijos de Coré.	1 [Song Psalm Of the sons of Korah] Great is Yahweh and most worthy of praise in the city of our God,the holy mountain,
2 Grande es Yahveh, y muy digno de loa en la ciudad de nuestro Dios; su monte santo,	2 towering in beauty, the joy of the whole world: Mount Zion in the heart of the north, the settlement ofthe great king;
3 de gallarda esbeltez, es la alegría de toda la tierra; el monte Sión, confín del Norte, la ciudad del gran Rey:	3 God himself among its palaces has proved himself its bulwark.
4 Dios, desde sus palacios, se ha revelado como baluarte.	4 For look, kings made al iance, together they advanced;
5 He aquí que los reyes se habían aliado, irrumpían a una;	5 without a second glance, when they saw, they panicked and fled away.
6 apenas vieron, de golpe estupefactos, aterrados, huyeron en tropel.	6 Trembling seized them on the spot, pains like those of a woman in labour;
7 Allí un temblor les invadió, espasmos como de mujer en parto,	7 it was the east wind, that wrecker of ships from Tarshish.
8 tal el viento del este que destroza los navíos de Tarsis.	8 What we had heard we saw for ourselves in the city of our God, in the city of Yahweh Sabaoth, whichGod has established for ever.Pause
9 Como habíamos oído lo hemos visto en la ciudad de Yahveh Sebaot, en la ciudad de nuestro Dios, que Dios afirmó para siempre. Pausa.	9 We reflect on your faithful love, God, in your temple!
10 Tu amor, oh Dios, evocamos en medio de tu Templo;	10 Both your name and your praise, God, are over the whole wide world. Your right hand is ful of savingjustice,
11 ¡como tu nombre, oh Dios, tu alabanza hasta los confines de la tierra! De justicia está llena tu diestra,	11 Mount Zion rejoices, the daughters of Judah delight because of your saving justice.
12 el monte Sión se regocija, exultan las hijas de Judá a causa de tus juicios.	12 Go round Zion, walk right through her, count her bastions,
13 Dad la vuelta a Sión, girad en torno de ella, enumerad sus torres;	13 admire her walls, examine her palaces, to tel future generations
14 grabad en vuestros corazones sus murallas, recorred sus palacios; para contar a la edad venidera	14 that such is God; our God for ever and ever, he is our guide!
15 que así es Dios, nuestro Dios por los siglos de los siglos, aquel que nos conduce.
