Hebrews 3

1 Therefore, holy brothers, sharers in the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession: Jesus.	1 Dlatego, bracia święci, uczestnicy powołania niebieskiego, zwróćcie uwagę na Apostoła i Arcykapłana naszego wyznania, Jezusa,
2 He is faithful to the One who made him, just as Moses also was, with his entire house.	2 bo On jest wierny Temu, który Go uczynił, jak i Mojżesz w całym Jego domu.
3 For this Jesus was considered worthy of greater glory than Moses, so much so that the house which he has built holds a greater honor than the former one.	3 O tyle nawet większej czci godzien jest od Mojżesza, o ile większą cześć od domu ma jego budowniczy.
4 For every house is built by someone, but God is the One who has created all things.	4 Każdy bowiem dom jest przez kogoś zbudowany, a Tym, który zbudował wszystko, jest Bóg.
5 And certainly Moses was faithful, with his entire house, like any servant, as a testimony to those things that would soon be said.	5 I Mojżesz wprawdzie był wierny w całym domu Jego, ale jako sługa na świadectwo tego, co miało być powiedziane;
6 Yet truly, Christ is like a Son in his own house. We are that house, if we firmly retain the faithfulness and the glory of hope, even unto the end.	6 Chrystus zaś, jako Syn, był nad swoim domem. Jego domem my jesteśmy, jeśli ufność i chwalebną nadzieję aż do końca wytrwale zachowamy.
7 Because of this, it is just as the Holy Spirit says: “If today you hear his voice,	7 Dlatego /postępujcie/, jak mówi Duch Święty: Dziś, jeśli głos Jego usłyszycie,
8 harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, the very day of temptation, in the desert,	8 nie zatwardzajcie serc waszych jak w buncie, jak w dzień kuszenia na pustyni,
9 where your fathers tested me, even though they had seen and examined my works for forty years.	9 gdzie kusili Mię ojcowie wasi przez wystawianie na próbę, chociaż widzieli dzieła moje przez czterdzieści lat.
10 For this reason, I was enraged against this generation, and I said: They always wander astray in heart. For they have not known my ways.	10 Rozgniewałem się przeto na to pokolenie i powiedziałem: Zawsze błądzą w sercu. Oni zaś nie poznali dróg moich,
11 So it is as I swore in my wrath: They shall not enter into my rest!”	11 toteż przysiągłem w gniewie moim: Nie wejdą do mego odpoczynku.
12 Be cautious, brothers, lest perhaps there may be, in any of you, an evil heart of unbelief, turning aside from the living God.	12 Uważajcie, bracia, aby nie było w kimś z was przewrotnego serca niewiary, której skutkiem jest odstąpienie od Boga żywego,
13 Instead, exhort one another every day, while it is still called ‘today,’ so that none of you may become hardened through the falseness of sin.	13 lecz zachęcajcie się wzajemnie każdego dnia, póki trwa to, co dziś się zwie, aby żaden z was nie uległ zatwardziałości przez oszustwo grzechu.
14 For we have been made participants in Christ. This is only so, if we firmly retain the beginning of his substance, even unto the end.	14 Jesteśmy bowiem uczestnikami Chrystusa, jeśli pierwotną nadzieję do końca zachowamy silną.
15 For it has been said: “If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts, in the same manner as in the former provocation.”	15 Jest bowiem powiedziane: Dziś, jeśli głos Jego usłyszycie, nie zatwardzajcie serc waszych jak w buncie!
16 For some of those listening did provoke him. But not all of these had set forth from Egypt through Moses.	16 Kim rzeczywiście są ci, którzy, gdy usłyszeli, zbuntowali się? Czyż to nie wszyscy ci, którzy wyszli z Egiptu pod wodzą Mojżesza?
17 So against whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not those who had sinned, whose dead bodies lay prostrate in the desert?	17 Na kogo to gniewał się przez czterdzieści lat? Czy nie na tych, którzy zgrzeszyli, a których trupy porozrzucał po pustyni?
18 But to whom did he swear that they would not enter into his rest, except to those who were incredulous?	18 Którym to zaś złożył przysięgę, że nie wejdą do Jego odpoczynku, jeśli nie tym, którzy nie byli posłuszni?
19 And so, we perceive that they were not able to enter because of unbelief.	19 Widzimy zatem, iż nie mogli wejść z powodu niedowiarstwa.
