1 This is the book of the lineage of Adam. In the day that God created man, he made him to the likeness of God.	1 Questa è la genealogia di Adamo. Nel dì in cui Dio creò l'uomo, lo fece a somiglianza di Dio.
2 He created them, male and female; and he blessed them. And he called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.	2 Lo creò maschio; e femmina, e li benedisse: e diede loro il nome di Adam il dì, in cui furon creati.
3 Then Adam lived for one hundred and thirty years. And then he conceived a son in his own image and likeness, and he called his name Seth.	3 E Adamo visse cento trenta anni: e generò, a sua immagine e somiglianza, un figlio, a cui pose nome Seth.
4 And after he conceived Seth, the days of Adam that passed were eight hundred years. And he conceived sons and daughters.	4 E visse Adamo, dopo avere generato Seth, ottocento anni, e generò figliuoli e figliuole.
5 And all the time that passed while Adam lived was nine hundred and thirty years, and then he died.	5 E tutto il tempo, che visse Adamo, fu di novecento trenta anni, e morì.
6 Seth likewise lived for one hundred and five years, and then he conceived Enos.	6 E visse Seth cento cinque anni, e generò Enos.
7 And after he conceived Enos, Seth lived for eight hundred and seven years, and he conceived sons and daughters.	7 E visse Seth, dopo aver generato Enos, ottocento sette anni, e generò figliuoli e figliuole.
8 And all the days of Seth that passed were nine hundred and twelve years, and then he died.	8 E tutta la vita di Seth fu di novecento dodici anni, e morì.
9 In truth, Enos lived ninety years, and then he conceived Cainan.	9 E visse Enos novanta anni, e generò Cainan.
10 After his birth, he lived eight hundred and fifteen years, and he conceived sons and daughters.	10 Dopo la nascita del quale visse ottocento quindici anni, e generò figliuoli e figliuole,

12 Likewise, Cainan lived seventy years, and then he conceived Mahalalel.	12 Visse ancora Cainan settant'anni, e generò Malaleel.
13 And after he conceived Mahalalel, Cainan lived for eight hundred and forty years, and he conceived sons and daughters.	13 E visse Cainan, dopo aver generato Malaleel, ottocento quaranta anni, e generò figliuoli, e figliuole.
14 And all the days of Cainan that passed were nine hundred and ten years, and then he died.	14 E tutto il tempo, che visse Cainan, fu novecento dieci anni, e morì.
15 And Mahalalel lived sixty-five years, and then he conceived Jared.	15 E visse Malaleel sessanta cinque anni, e generò Jared.
16 And after he conceived Jared, Mahalalel lived for eight hundred and thirty years, and he conceived sons and daughters.	16 E visse Malaleel, dopo aver generato Jared, ottocento trenta anni, e generò figliuoli, e figliuole.
17 And all the days of Mahalalel that passed were eight hundred and ninety-five years, and then he died.	17 E tutta la vita di Malaleel fu di ottocento novanta cinque anni, e morì.
18 And Jared lived for one hundred and sixty-two years, and then he conceived Enoch.	18 E visse Jared cento sessanta due anni, e generò Henoch.
19 And after he conceived Enoch, Jared lived for eight hundred years, and he conceived sons and daughters.	19 E visse Jared, dopo aver generato Henoch, 800 anni, e generò figliuoli e figliuole.
20 And all the days of Jared that passed were nine hundred and sixty-two years, and then he died.	20 E tutta la vita di Jared fu di novecento sessantadue anni, e si morì.
21 Now Enoch lived for sixty-five years, and then he conceived Methuselah.	21 Ed Henoch visse sessantacinque anni, e generò Mathusala.
22 And Enoch walked with God. And after he conceived Methuselah, he lived for three hundred years, and he conceived sons and daughters.	22 Ed Henoch camminò con Dio e visse, dopo aver generato Mathusala, trecento anni; e generò figliuoli e figliuole.
23 And all the days of Enoch that passed were three hundred and sixty-five years.	23 E tutta la vita di Henoch fu di trecento sessanta cinque anni:
24 And he walked with God, and then he was seen no more, because God took him.	24 E camminò con Dio, e disparve: perché il Signore lo rapì.
25 Likewise, Methuselah lived for one hundred and eighty-seven years, and then he conceived Lamech.	25 E visse Mathusala cento ottanta sette anni, e generò Lamech.
26 And after he conceived Lamech, Methuselah lived for seven hundred and eighty-two years, and he conceived sons and daughters.	26 E visse Mathusala, dopo aver generato Lamech, settecento ottanta due anni, e generò figliuoli e figliuole.
27 And all the days of Methuselah that passed were nine hundred and sixty-nine years, and then he died.	27 E tutta la vita di Mathusala fu di novecento sessanta nove anni, e morì.
28 Then Lamech lived for one hundred and eighty-two years, and he conceived a son.	28 E visse Lamech cento ottanta due anni, e generò un figliuolo.
29 And he called his name Noah, saying, “This one will console us from the works and hardships of our hands, in the land that the Lord has cursed.”	29 E gli pose nome Noè dicendo: Questi sarà nostra consolazione ne' travagli e nelle fatiche delle nostre mani in questa terra, che è stata maledetta dal Signore.
30 And after he conceived Noah, Lamech lived for five hundred and ninety-five years, and he conceived sons and daughters.	30 E visse Lamech, dopo aver generato Noè, cinquecento novanta cinque anni, e generò figliuoli e figliuole.
31 And all the days of Lamech that passed were seven hundred and seventy-seven years, and then he died. In truth, when Noah was five hundred years old, he conceived Shem, Ham, and Japheth.	31 E tutta la vita di Lamech fu di settecento settantasette anni, e si morì. Ma Noè, essendo in età di cinquecento anni, generò Sem Cham, e Japheth.
