1 Puis je dis: Ecoutez donc, chefs de la maison de Jacob et commandants de la maison d'Israël! N'est-ce pas à vous de connaître le droit,	1 And I said: Listen, leaders of Jacob and chiefs of the house of Israel. Does it not belong to you to know judgment,
2 vous qui haïssez le bien et aimez le mal, (qui leur arrachez la peau, et la chair de sur leurs os)!	2 you who hold hatred for good, and love evil, who violently steal their skins from over them and their flesh from over their bones?
3 Ceux qui ont dévoré la chair de mon peuple, et lui ont arraché la peau et brisé les os, qui l'ontdéchiré comme chair dans la marmite et comme viande en plein chaudron,	3 They have devoured the flesh of my people, and have stripped their skin from over them, and they have shattered and chopped their bones, as if for the kettle, and like flesh in the middle of the pot.
4 alors, ils crieront vers Yahvé, mais il ne leur répondra pas. Il leur cachera sa face en ce temps-là, àcause des crimes qu'ils ont commis.	4 Then they will cry out to the Lord, and he will not heed them. And he will hide his face from them in that time, just as they have acted wickedly with their inventions.
5 Ainsi parle Yahvé contre les prophètes qui égarent mon peuple: S'ils ont quelque chose entre lesdents, ils proclament: "Paix!" Mais à qui ne leur met rien dans la bouche ils déclarent la guerre.	5 Thus says the Lord about the prophets who seduce my people: They bite with their teeth and preach peace, and if anyone does not give something to their mouth, they sanctify a battle against him.
6 C'est pourquoi la nuit pour vous sera sans vision, les ténèbres pour vous sans divination. Le soleil vase coucher pour les prophètes et le jour s'obscurcir pour eux.	6 Because of this, night will be yours for vision, and darkness yours for divination, and the sun will meet with death over the prophets, and the day will be darkened over them.
7 Alors les voyants seront couverts de honte et les devins de confusion; tous, ils se couvriront leslèvres, car il n'y aura pas de réponse de Dieu.	7 And those who see visions will be confounded, and the diviners will be confounded. And they will all cover their faces, because there is no response from God.
8 Moi, au contraire, je suis plein de force (et du souffle de Yahvé), de justice et de courage, pourproclamer à Jacob son crime, à Israël son péché.	8 Nevertheless, truly I have been filled with the strength of the Spirit of the Lord, with judgment and virtue, in order to announce to Jacob his wickedness and to Israel his sin.
9 Ecoutez donc ceci, chefs de la maison de Jacob et commandants de la maison d'Israël, vous quiexécrez la justice et qui tordez tout ce qui est droit,	9 Hear this, leaders of the house of Jacob and judges of the house of Israel, you who abominate judgment and who pervert all that is right.
10 vous qui construisez Sion avec le sang et Jérusalem avec le crime!	10 You build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity.
11 Ses chefs jugent pour des présents, ses prêtres décident pour un salaire, ses prophètes vaticinent àprix d'argent. Et c'est sur Yahvé qu'ils s'appuient! Ils disent: "Yahvé n'est-il pas au milieu de nous? Le malheurne tombera pas sur nous."	11 Her leaders have judged for tributes, and her priests have taught for payment, and her prophets divined for money. And they leaned upon the Lord, saying: “Is not the Lord in our midst? No disaster will overcome us.”
12 C'est pourquoi, par votre faute, Sion deviendra une terre de labour, Jérusalem un monceau dedécombres, et la montagne du Temple une hauteur boisée.	12 For this reason, because of you, Zion will be plowed under like a field, and Jerusalem will become like a pile of stones, and the mountain of the temple like the high places of the forests.
