DIODATI	NEW JERUSALEM
1 POI la seconda sorte fu tratta per Simeone, per la tribù de’ figliuoli di Simeone, secondo le lor nazioni; e la loro eredità fu per mezzo l’eredità dei figliuoli di Giuda.	1 The second lot to come out was for Simeon, for the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by clans; their heritagewas within the heritage of the sons of Judah.
2 Ed ebbero nella loro eredità Beer-seba, e Seba e Molada; e Hasar-sual,	2 As heritage, they received:
3 e Bala, ed Esem; ed Eltolad, e Betul,	3 Beersheba, Shema, Moladah,
4 e Horma; e Siclag,	4 Hazar-Shual, Balah, Ezem, Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,
5 e Bet-marcabot, e Hasar-susa;	5 Ziklag, Beth-ha-Marcaboth, Hazar-Susa,
6 e Bet-lebaot, e Saruhem; tredici città, con le lor villate;	6 Beth-Lebaoth and Sharuhen: thirteen towns and their vil ages.
7 poi Ain, e Rimmon, ed Eter, e Asan; quattro città, con le lor villate;	7 Ain, Rimmon, Ether and Ashan: four towns and their villages,
8 e tutte le villate ch’erano d’intorno a queste città, fino a Baalat-beer, che è Rama meridionale. Questa fu l’eredità della tribù de’ figliuoli di Simeone, secondo le lor nazioni.	8 with al the vil ages situated near these towns as far as Baalath-Beer and Ramah of the Negeb. Suchwas the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by clans.
9 L’eredità de’ figliuoli di Simeone fu tolta della parte de’ figliuoli di Giuda; perciocchè la parte de’ figliuoli di Giuda era troppo grande per loro; perciò i figliuoli di Simeone ebbero la loro eredità per mezzo l’eredità di essi	9 The heritage of the sons of Simeon was taken out of the portion of the sons of Judah, because theshare of the sons of Judah was too large for them; hence, the sons of Simeon received their heritage within theheritage of the sons of Judah.
10 POI la terza sorte fu tratta per li figliuoli di Zabulon, secondo le lor nazioni; e il confine della loro eredità fu infino a Sarid.	10 The third lot fel to the sons of Zebulun, by clans; the territory of their heritage stretched as far asSadud;
11 E il lor confine saliva verso il mare, fino a Mareala; e si scontrava in Dabbeset, e giungeva al torrente, che è dirincontro a Iocneam.	11 their frontier climbed westwards to Maraalah, touching Dabbesheth and the torrent facing Jokneam.
12 E da Sarid si volgeva verso il Levante, a’ confini di Chislot-tabor; e si stendeva verso Dabrat, e saliva in Iafia;	12 From Sadud, the frontier turned east, towards the rising sun, as far as the frontier of Chisloth-Tabor; itcame out at Dobrath and went up to Japhia.
13 e di là passava verso il Levante in Ghitta-hefer, e Itta-casin; poi, girando verso Nea, si stendeva fino a Rimmon;	13 Thence, it went east, towards the sunrise, to Gath-Hepher and Ittah-Kazin, came out at Rimmon andturned towards Neah.
14 poi quel confine si volgeva dal Settentrione verso Hannaton, e faceva capo alla valle d’Iftael;	14 The northern frontier turned towards Hannathon and came to an end in the Val ey of Iphtah-El;
15 e comprendeva Cattat, e Nahalal, e Simron, e Ideala, e Betlehem; dodici città, con le lor villate.	15 with Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Iralah and Bethlehem: twelve towns with their villages.
16 Questa fu l’eredità de’ figliuoli di Zabulon, secondo le lor nazioni, cioè: queste città, con le lor villate	16 Such was the heritage of the sons of Zebulun, by clans: these towns with their vil ages.
17 LA quarta sorte fu tratta per Issacar, per li figliuoli d’Issacar, secondo le lor nazioni.	17 The fourth lot came out for Issachar, for the sons of Issachar, by clans.
18 E della lor contrada fu Izreel, e Chesullot, e Sunem;	18 Their territory stretched towards Jezreel and included Chesul oth, Shunem,
19 e Hafaraim, e Sion, e Anaharat;	19 Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,
20 e Rabbit, e Chision, ed Ebes;	20 Dobrath, Kishion, Ebez,
21 e Remet, ed Ed-gannim, ed En-hadda, e Bet-passes.	21 Remeth, En-Gannim, En-Haddah and Beth-Pazzez.
22 E il lor confine si scontrava in Tabor, e in Sahasim, e in Bet-semes; e faceva capo al Giordano: e v’erano sedici città, con le lor villate.	22 Their frontier touched Tabor, Shahazimah and Beth-Shemesh, and the frontier came to an end at theJordan: sixteen towns with their vil ages.
23 Questa fu l’eredità della tribù de’ figliuoli d’Issacar, secondo le lor nazioni, cioè: queste città, con le lor villate	23 Such was the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, by clans: the towns and their vil ages.
24 POI la quinta sorte fu tratta per la tribù de’ figliuoli di Aser, secondo le lor nazioni.	24 The fifth lot came out for the tribe of the sons of Asher, by clans.
25 E della lor contrada fu Helcat, e Hali, e Beten,	25 Their territory included Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achshaph,
26 e Acsaf; e Alammelec, e Amead, e Miseal; e il lor confine si scontrava in Carmel, verso il mare e in Sihor-libnat.	26 Alammelech, Amad and Mishal.
27 Poi ritornava verso il Levante in Bet-dagon, e si scontrava in Zabulon, e nella valle d’Iftael, verso il Settentrione, e in Bet-emec, e in Neiel, e faceva capo a Cabul, dalla man sinistra;	27 On the west, it touched Carmel and the course of the Libnath. On the side of the rising sun, it went asfar as Beth-Dagon, touched Zebulun, the Val ey of Iphtah-El on the north side, Beth-ha-Emek and Neiel, comingout with Cabul on the left,
28 e comprendeva Ebron, e Rehob, e Hammon, e Cana, fino a Sidon, la gran città.	28 with Abdon, Rehob, Hammon and Kanah as far as Sidon the Great. The frontier then turned towardsRamah, as far as the fortress-town of Tyre;
29 Poi questo confine si volgeva verso Rama infino a Tiro, città forte; e di là si rivolgeva verso Hosa, e faceva capo al mare, dalla costa di Aczib;	29 the frontier then went to Hosah and reached as far as the sea at Mahalab and Achzib,
30 e comprendeva Umma, e Afec, e Rehob; ventidue città, con le lor villate.	30 with Acco, Aphek and Rehob: twenty-two towns with their vil ages.
31 Questa fu l’eredità della tribù de’ figliuoli di Aser, secondo le lor nazioni, cioè: queste città con le lor villate	31 Such was the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Asher, by clans; these towns and their vil ages.
32 LA sesta sorte fu tratta per li figliuoli di Neftali, secondo le lor nazioni.	32 To the sons of Naphtali fel the sixth portion, to the sons of Naphtali, by clans.
33 E il lor confine fu da Helef, e da Allon fino in Saanannim; e da Adaminecheb, e Iabneel, fino a Laccum; e faceva capo al Giordano.	33 Their frontier went from Heleph and the Oak of Zanaannim, with Adami-ha-Negeb and Jabneel, as faras Lakkum, and ended at the Jordan.
34 E questo confine si volgeva dall’Occidente verso Asnot-tabor, e di là procedeva fino a Huccoc; e dal Mezzodì si scontrava in Zabulon, e dall’Occidente in Aser; e da Giuda il Giordano era dal Levante.	34 The westward boundary ran to Aznoth-Tabor and thence came out at Hukkok, marching with Zebulunin the south, Asher in the west and the Jordan in the east.
35 E le città forti erano Siddim, e Ser, e Hammat, e Raccat, e Chinneret; e Adama, e Rama, e Hasor;	35 The fortified towns were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Chinnereth,
36 e Chedes, ed Edrei,	36 Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,
37 ed En-hasor; e Ireon, e Migda-el,	37 Kedesh, Edrei, En-Hazor,
38 e Horem, e Bet-anat, e Bet-semes; diciannove città, con le lor villate.	38 Jiron, Migdal-El, Horem, Beth-Anath and Beth-Shemesh: nineteen towns and their vil ages.
39 Questa fu l’eredità della tribù de’ figliuoli di Neftali, secondo le lor nazioni, cioè: queste città, con le lor villate	39 Such was the heritage of the sons of Naphtali, by clans: the towns and their vil ages.
40 LA settima sorte fu tratta per la tribù de’ figliuoli di Dan, secondo le lor nazioni.	40 To the tribe of the sons of Dan, by clans, fel the seventh portion.
41 E della contrada della loro eredità fu Sorea, ed Estaol, e Irsemes;	41 The territory of their heritage comprised: Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir-Shemesh,
42 e Saalabbim, e Aialon, e Itla; ed Elon,	42 Shaalbim, Aijalon, Silatha,
43 e Timnata, ed Ecron;	43 Elon, Timnah, Ekron,
44 ed Elteche, e Ghibbeton, e Baalat;	44 Eltekeh, Gibbethon,
45 e Iud, e Bene-berac, e Gat-rimmon;	45 Baalath, Azor, Bene-Berak and Gath-Rimmon;
46 e Meiarcon, e Raccon, con la contrada che è dirimpetto a Iafo.	46 and, by the sea, Jerakon with the territory facing Jaffa.
47 Ora, a’ figliuoli di Dan scaddero i confini troppo piccoli per loro; e però salirono, e combatterono Lesem, e la presero, e la misero a fil di spada, e la possedettero, e abitarono in essa, e le posero nome Dan, del nome di Dan, lor padre.	47 The territory of the sons of Dan eluded them, however, and the sons of Dan consequently went upand attacked Leshem, captured it and put it to the sword. Having gained possession of it, they settled there andcal ed Leshem, Dan, after Dan their ancestor.
48 Questa fu l’eredità della tribù de’ figliuoli di Dan, secondo le lor nazioni, cioè: queste città, con le lor villate	48 Such was the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Dan, by clans: these towns and their vil ages.
49 ORA, dopo che i figliuoli d’Israele ebber finito di prender la possessione del paese, secondo i suoi confini, diedero eredità a Giosuè, figliuolo di Nun, per mezzo loro.	49 Having finished dividing the country, frontier by frontier, the Israelites gave Joshua son of Nun aheritage among themselves;
50 Secondo il comandamento del Signore, gli diedero la città ch’egli chiese, cioè: Timnat-sera, nel monte di Efraim; ed egli riedificò la città, e abitò in essa.	50 at Yahweh's command, they gave him the town which he had asked for, Timnath-Serah in thehighlands of Ephraim; he rebuilt the town and settled there.
51 Queste sono le eredità, le quali il Sacerdote Eleazaro, e Giosuè, figliuolo di Nun, e i capi delle nazioni paterne delle tribù de’ figliuoli d’Israele, spartirono a sorte, in Silo, davanti al Signore, all’entrata del Tabernacolo della convenenza; e così finirono di spartire il paese	51 Such are the heritages which the priest Eleazar, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of each familyapportioned by lot between the tribes of Israel at Shiloh, in Yahweh's presence, at the door of the Tent ofMeeting; and thus the apportioning of the country was completed.
