| 1 Et sept femmes saisiront un même homme en ce jour-là, et elles lui diront : Nous mangerons notre pain, et nous nous couvrirons de vêtements (à nos frais) ; (agrée(z)) seulement que nous portions ton (votre) nom, enlève (enlevez) notre opprobre. | 1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying: We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, take away our reproach. |
| 2 En ce jour-là, le germe du Seigneur sera dans la magnificence et dans la gloire, et le fruit de la terre sera élevé (en honneur), et une cause d'allégresse sera pour ceux d'Israël qui auront été sauvés. | 2 In that day the bud of the Lord shall be in magnificence and glory, and the fruit of the earth shall be high, and a great joy to them that shall have escaped of Israel. |
| 3 (Et voici qui arrivera :) (Alors) tous ceux qui seront restés dans Sion et qui seront demeurés dans Jérusalem seront appelés saints, tous ceux qui auront été écrits dans Jérusalem au nombre des vivants. | 3 And it shall come to pass, that every one that shall be left in Sion, and that shall remain in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, every one that is written in life in Jerusalem. |
| 4 Alors le Seigneur purifiera les souillures des filles de Sion, et il lavera Jérusalem du sang qui est au milieu d'elle, par un esprit de justice et par un esprit d'ardeur. | 4 If the Lord shall wash away the filth of the daughters of Sion, and shall wash away the blood of Jerusalem out of the midst thereof, by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning. |
| 5 Et le Seigneur établira sur toute l'étendue de la montagne de Sion, et au lieu où il aura été invoqué, une nuée obscure (un nuage et une fumée) pendant le jour, et l'éclat d'une flamme ardente pendant la nuit ; car tout ce qui est glorieux sera protégé (sa protection). | 5 And the Lord will create upon every place of mount Sion, and where he is called upon, a cloud by day, and a smoke and the brightness of a flaming fire in the night: for over all the glory shall be a protection. |
| 6 Et il y aura une tente (un tabernacle) pour donner de l'ombre contre la chaleur pendant le jour, et pour servir de retraite assurée et d'asile contre l'orage (la tempête) et la pluie. | 6 And there shall be a tabernacle for a shade in the daytime from the heat, and for a security and covert from the whirlwind, and from rain. |
