1 Psaume de David, des fils de Jonadab, et des premiers captifs. C'est en Vous, Seigneur, que j'ai espéré; que je sois pas à jamais confondu.*	1 A Psalm according to Solomon.
2 Dans Votre justice, délivrez-moi et secourez-moi Inclinez vers moi Votre oreille, * et sauvez-moi.	2 Give your judgment, O God, to the king, and your justice to the king’s son, to judge your people with justice and your poor with judgment.
3 Soyez-moi un Dieu protecteur et un asile fortifié, * afin de me sauver; car Vous êtes ma force et mon refuge.	3 Let the mountains take up peace for the people, and the hills, justice.
4 Mon Dieu, tirez-moi de la main du pécheur, * et de la main de celui qui agit contre la loi, et du pervers;	4 He will judge the poor of the people, and he will bring salvation to the sons of the poor. And he will humble the false accuser.
5 car Vous êtes mon attente, Seigneur; * Seigneur, Vous êtes mon espérance depuis ma jeunesse.	5 And he will remain, with the sun and before the moon, from generation to generation.
6 Sur Vous je me suis appuyé dès ma naissance; * dès le sein de ma mère Vous êtes mon protecteur. Vous serez toujours le sujet de mes chants. *	6 He will descend like rain upon fleece, and like showers showering upon the earth.
7 Je suis devenu pour beaucoup comme un prodige; et Vous, Vous êtes un puissant secours.	7 In his days, justice will rise like the sun, with abundance of peace, until the moon is taken away.
8 Que ma bouche soit remplie de louanges, pour que je chante Votre gloire, * et chaque jour Votre grandeur.	8 And he will rule from sea to sea and from the river to the limits of the whole world.
9 Ne me rejetez pas au temps de la vieillesse; * lorsque ma force se sera épuisée, ne m'abandonnez pas.	9 In his sight, the Ethiopians will fall prostrate, and his enemies will lick the ground.
10 Car mes ennemis ont parlé contre moi, * et ceux qui épiaient ma vie ont tenu conseil ensemble,	10 The kings of Tarshish and the islands will offer gifts. The kings of Arabia and of Seba will bring gifts.
11 disant: Dieu l'a abandonné; poursuivez-le et saisissez-le; * il n'y a personne pour le délivrer.	11 And all the kings of the earth shall adore him. All nations will serve him.
12 O Dieu, ne Vous éloignez pas de moi; * mon Dieu, voyez à me secourir.	12 For he will free the poor from the powerful, and the poor one who has no helper.
13 Qu'ils soient confondus et réduits à néant, ceux qui en veulent à ma vie;* qu'ils soient couverts de confusion et de honte, ceux qui cherchent mon mal.	13 He will spare the poor and the indigent, and he will bring salvation to the souls of the poor.
14 Mais moi, j'espérerai toujours, * et j'ajouterai à toutes Vos louanges.	14 He will redeem their souls from usuries and from iniquity, and their names shall be honorable in his sight.
15 Ma bouche publiera Votre justice, * et tout le jour Votre assistance salutaire. Ne connaissant pas la science humaine,	15 And he will live, and to him will be given from the gold of Arabia, and by him they will always adore. They will bless him all day long.
16 je contemplerai les oeuvres puissantes du Seigneur; * Seigneur, je me rappellerai Votre justice, la Vôtre seule.	16 And there will be a firmament on earth, at the summits of mountains: its fruits will be extolled above Lebanon, and those of the city will flourish like the grass of the earth.
17 O Dieu, Vous m'avez instruit dès ma jeunesse, * et je publierai Vos merveilles que j'ai éprouvées jusqu'à présent.	17 May his name be blessed forever; may his name remain before the sun. And all the tribes of the earth will be blessed in him. All nations will magnify him.
18 Et jusqu'à la vieillesse et aux cheveux blancs, * ô Dieu, ne m'abandonnez pas, jusqu'à ce que j'aie annoncé la force de Votre bras * à toutes les générations à venir; Votre puissance	18 Blessed is the Lord, God of Israel, who alone does wondrous things.
19 et Votre justice qui atteint, ô Dieu, jusqu'aux cieux. * Dans les grandes choses que Vous avez faites, ô Dieu, qui est semblable à Vous?	19 And blessed is the name of his majesty in eternity. And all the earth will be filled with his majesty. Amen. Amen.
20 Que de tribulations nombreuses et cruelles Vous m'avez fait éprouver! Et Vous retournant, Vous m'avez rendu la vie, * et Vous m'avez retiré des abîmes de la terre.	20 The praises of David, the son of Jesse, have reached an end.
21 Vous avez fait éclater Votre magnificence, * et, Vous retournant, Vous m'avez consolé.
22 Car je célébrerai encore, ô Dieu, Votre vérité au son des instruments; * je Vous chanterai sur la harpe, ô Saint d'Israël.
23 L'allégresse sera sur mes lèvres lorsque je Vous chanterai, * et dans mon âme, que Vous avez rachetée.
24 Et ma langue annoncera tout le jour Votre justice, * lorsque ceux qui cherchent mon mal seront couverts de confusion et de honte.
