1 Pour la fin, parmi les cantiques, psaume de David.	1 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.
2 Lorsque je L'ai invoqué, le Dieu de ma justice m'a exaucé; * Vous m'avez mis au large dans la tribulation. Ayez pitié de moi, * et exaucez ma prière.	2 O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.
3 Enfants des hommes, jusques à quand aurez-vous le coeur appesanti? * Pourquoi aimez-vous la vanité, et cherchez-vous le mensonge?	3 But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.
4 Sachez donc que le Seigneur a merveilleusement glorifié Son Saint. * Le Seigneur m'exaucera quand j'aurai crié vers Lui.	4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.
5 Irritez-vous, mais ne péchez point. * Ce que vous dites contre moi au fond de vos coeurs, répétez-le avec componction sur vos couches.	5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.
6 Offrez un sacrifice de justice, et espérez au Seigneur. * Beaucoup disent: Qui nous fera voir le bonheur?	6 There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.
7 La lumière de Votre visage est gravée sur nous, Seigneur; * Vous avez mis la joie dans mon coeur.	7 Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.
8 Ils se sont multipliés * par l'abondance de leur froment, de leur vin et de leur huile.	8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.
9 Et moi je dormirai et me reposerai en paix;*
10 parce que Vous, Seigneur, * m'avez affermi dans une espérance singulière.
