| 1 Voici ce que vous ferez pour consacrer prêtres Aaron et ses fils. Prenez dans le troupeau un veau et deux béliers sans tache, | 1 And this is the thing that thou shalt do unto them to hallow them, to minister unto me in the priest's office: Take one young bullock, and two rams without blemish, |
| 2 Des pains sans levain, des gâteaux aussi sans levain arrosés d'huile, des galettes sans levain sur lesquelles on aura versé de l'huile. Vous ferez toutes ces choses de la plus pure farine de froment. | 2 And unleavened bread, and cakes unleavened tempered with oil, and wafers unleavened anointed with oil: of wheaten flour shalt thou make them. |
| 3 Et, les ayant mises dans une corbeille, vous Me les offrirez. Vous amènerez le veau et les deux béliers. | 3 And thou shalt put them into one basket, and bring them in the basket, with the bullock and the two rams. |
| 4 Vous ferez approcher Aaron et ses enfants de l'entrée du tabernacle du témoignage, et lorsque vous aurez lavé avec de l'eau le père et les enfants, | 4 And Aaron and his sons thou shalt bring unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shalt wash them with water. |
| 5 Vous revêtirez Aaron de ses vêtements, c'est-à-dire de la tunique de lin, de la robe, de l'éphod et du rational, que vous lierez avec la ceinture. | 5 And thou shalt take the garments, and put upon Aaron the coat, and the robe of the ephod, and the ephod, and the breastplate, and gird him with the curious girdle of the ephod: |
| 6 Et vous lui mettrez la tiare sur la tête et la lame sainte sur la tiare. | 6 And thou shalt put the mitre upon his head, and put the holy crown upon the mitre. |
| 7 Vous répandrez ensuite sur sa tête de l'huile de consécration, et il sera sacré de cette sorte. | 7 Then shalt thou take the anointing oil, and pour it upon his head, and anoint him. |
| 8 Vous ferez approcher aussi ses enfants, vous les revêtirez de leurs tuniques de lin; vous les ceindrez de leurs ceintures; | 8 And thou shalt bring his sons, and put coats upon them. |
| 9 Ce que vous ferez pour Aaron et pour ses enfants. Vous leur mettrez la mitre sur la tête, et ils seront Mes prêtres pour Me rendre un culte perpétuel. Après que vous aurez consacré leurs mains, | 9 And thou shalt gird them with girdles, Aaron and his sons, and put the bonnets on them: and the priest's office shall be theirs for a perpetual statute: and thou shalt consecrate Aaron and his sons. |
| 10 Vous amènerez le veau devant le tabernacle du témoignage, et Aaron et ses enfants lui mettront les mains sur la tête. | 10 And thou shalt cause a bullock to be brought before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the bullock. |
| 11 Et vous le sacrifierez devant le Seigneur à l'entrée du tabernacle du témoignage. | 11 And thou shalt kill the bullock before the LORD, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. |
| 12 Vous prendrez du sang du veau, que vous mettrez avec le doigt sur les cornes de l'autel, et vous répandrez le reste du sang au pied de l'autel. | 12 And thou shalt take of the blood of the bullock, and put it upon the horns of the altar with thy finger, and pour all the blood beside the bottom of the altar. |
| 13 Vous prendrez aussi toute la graisse qui couvre les entrailles et la membrane qui enveloppe le foie, avec les deux reins et la graisse qui les couvre et vous les offrirez en les brûlant sur l'autel. | 13 And thou shalt take all the fat that covereth the inwards, and the caul that is above the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and burn them upon the altar. |
| 14 Mais vous brûlerez dehors et hors du camp toute la chair du veau, sa peau et ses excréments, parce que c'est une hostie pour le péché. | 14 But the flesh of the bullock, and his skin, and his dung, shalt thou burn with fire without the camp: it is a sin offering. |
| 15 Vous prendrez aussi un des béliers et Aaron et ses enfants mettront leurs mains sur sa tête. | 15 Thou shalt also take one ram; and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the ram. |
| 16 Et lorsque vous l'aurez immolé, vous en prendrez du sang et le répandrez autour de l'autel. | 16 And thou shalt slay the ram, and thou shalt take his blood, and sprinkle it round about upon the altar. |
| 17 Vous couperez ensuite le bélier par morceaux, et en ayant lavé les intestins et les pieds, vous les mettrez sur les parties de son corps que vous aurez ainsi coupées et sur sa tête. | 17 And thou shalt cut the ram in pieces, and wash the inwards of him, and his legs, and put them unto his pieces, and unto his head. |
| 18 Et vous offrirez le bélier en le brûlant tout entier sur l'autel; car c'est l'oblation du Seigneur et une hostie dont l'odeur Lui est très agréable. | 18 And thou shalt burn the whole ram upon the altar: it is a burnt offering unto the LORD: it is a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the LORD. |
| 19 Vous prendrez aussi l'autre bélier, et Aaron et ses enfants mettront leurs mains sur sa tête. | 19 And thou shalt take the other ram; and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the ram. |
| 20 Et l'ayant égorgé, vous prendrez de son sang et vous en mettrez sur le bas de l'oreille droite d'Aaron et de ses enfants, sur le pouce de leur main droite et de leur pied droit, et vous répandrez le reste du sang sur l'autel, tout autour. | 20 Then shalt thou kill the ram, and take of his blood, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and upon the tip of the right ear of his sons, and upon the thumb of their right hand, and upon the great toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about. |
| 21 Vous prendrez aussi du sang qui est sur l'autel et de l'huile d'onction; vous en ferez l'aspersion sur Aaron et sur ses vêtements, sur ses enfants et sur leurs vêtements, et après les avoir consacrés avec leurs vêtements, | 21 And thou shalt take of the blood that is upon the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon the garments of his sons with him: and he shall be hallowed, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him. |
| 22 Vous prendrez la graisse du bélier, la queue, la graisse qui couvre les entrailles, la membrane qui enveloppe le foie, les deux reins et la graisse qui est dessus et l'épaule droite, parce que c'est un bélier de consécration. | 22 Also thou shalt take of the ram the fat and the rump, and the fat that covereth the inwards, and the caul above the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and the right shoulder; for it is a ram of consecration: |
| 23 Vous prendrez aussi une partie d'un pain, un des gâteaux trempés dans l'huile et une galette de la corbeille des azymes qui aura été exposée devant le Seigneur. | 23 And one loaf of bread, and one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer out of the basket of the unleavened bread that is before the LORD: |
| 24 Vous mettrez toutes ces choses sur les mains d'Aaron et de ses fils, et vous les sanctifierez en élevant ces dons devant le Seigneur. | 24 And thou shalt put all in the hands of Aaron, and in the hands of his sons; and shalt wave them for a wave offering before the LORD. |
| 25 Vous reprendrez ensuite toutes ces choses de leurs mains et vous les brûlerez sur l'autel en holocauste, pour répandre une odeur très agréable devant le Seigneur, parce que c'est Son oblation. | 25 And thou shalt receive them of their hands, and burn them upon the altar for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour before the LORD: it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD. |
| 26 Vous prendrez aussi la poitrine du bélier qui aura servi à la consécration d'Aaron, et vous la sanctifierez en l'élevant devant le Seigneur, et elle sera réservée pour votre part. | 26 And thou shalt take the breast of the ram of Aaron's consecration, and wave it for a wave offering before the LORD: and it shall be thy part. |
| 27 Vous sanctifierez aussi la poitrine qui a été consacrée, l'épaule que vous aurez séparée du bélier | 27 And thou shalt sanctify the breast of the wave offering, and the shoulder of the heave offering, which is waved, and which is heaved up, of the ram of the consecration, even of that which is for Aaron, and of that which is for his sons: |
| 28 Par lequel Aaron et ses enfants auront été consacrés, et elles seront réservées des oblations des enfants d'Israël, pour être la part d'Aaron et de ses enfants par un droit perpétuel, parce qu'elles sont comme les prémices et les premières parties des victimes pacifiques qu'ils offrent au Seigneur. | 28 And it shall be Aaron's and his sons' by a statute for ever from the children of Israel: for it is an heave offering: and it shall be an heave offering from the children of Israel of the sacrifice of their peace offerings, even their heave offering unto the LORD. |
| 29 Les enfants d'Aaron porteront après sa mort les saints vêtements qui lui auront servi, afin qu'en étant revêtus, ils reçoivent l'onction sainte et que leurs mains soient consacrées au Seigneur. | 29 And the holy garments of Aaron shall be his sons' after him, to be anointed therein, and to be consecrated in them. |
| 30 Celui d'entre ses enfants qui aura été établi pontife en sa place, et qui entrera dans le tabernacle du témoignage pour exercer ses fonctions dans le sanctuaire, portera ces vêtements pendant sept jours. | 30 And that son that is priest in his stead shall put them on seven days, when he cometh into the tabernacle of the congregation to minister in the holy place. |
| 31 Vous prendrez aussi le bélier qui sera offert à la consécration du pontife, et vous en ferez cuire la chair dans le lieu saint. | 31 And thou shalt take the ram of the consecration, and seethe his flesh in the holy place. |
| 32 Aaron en mangera avec ses enfants. Ils mangeront aussi, à l'entrée du tabernacle du témoignage, les pains qui seront demeurés dans la corbeille, | 32 And Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram, and the bread that is in the basket, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. |
| 33 Afin que ce soit un sacrifice qui rende Dieu favorable, et que les mains de ceux qui les offrent soient sanctifiées. L'étranger ne mangera point de ces viandes, parce qu'elles sont saintes. | 33 And they shall eat those things wherewith the atonement was made, to consecrate and to sanctify them: but a stranger shall not eat thereof, because they are holy. |
| 34 S'il demeure quelque chose de cette chair consacrée ou de ces pains jusqu'au matin, vous brûlerez au feu tous ces restes; on n'en mangera point, parce qu'ils sont sanctifiés. | 34 And if ought of the flesh of the consecrations, or of the bread, remain unto the morning, then thou shalt burn the remainder with fire: it shall not be eaten, because it is holy. |
| 35 Vous aurez soin de faire tout ce que Je vous commande touchant Aaron et ses enfants. Vous consacrerez leurs mains pendant sept jours. | 35 And thus shalt thou do unto Aaron, and to his sons, according to all things which I have commanded thee: seven days shalt thou consecrate them. |
| 36 Et vous offrirez chaque jour un veau pour l'expiation du péché. Lorsque vous aurez immolé l'hostie de l'expiation, vous purifierez l'autel et vous y ferez les onctions saintes pour le sanctifier de nouveau. | 36 And thou shalt offer every day a bullock for a sin offering for atonement: and thou shalt cleanse the altar, when thou hast made an atonement for it, and thou shalt anoint it, to sanctify it. |
| 37 Vous purifierez et sanctifierez l'autel pendant sept jours, et il sera très saint. Quiconque le touchera se sanctifiera auparavant. | 37 Seven days thou shalt make an atonement for the altar, and sanctify it; and it shall be an altar most holy: whatsoever toucheth the altar shall be holy. |
| 38 Voici ce que vous ferez sur l'autel: Vous sacrifierez chaque jour, sans y manquer, deux agneaux d'un an, | 38 Now this is that which thou shalt offer upon the altar; two lambs of the first year day by day continually. |
| 39 Un le matin, et l'autre le soir. | 39 The one lamb thou shalt offer in the morning; and the other lamb thou shalt offer at even: |
| 40 Vous offrirez avec le premier agneau la dixième partie de la plus pure farine de froment, mêlée avec de l'huile d'olives pilées, plein le quart de la mesure appelée hin, et autant de vin pour la libation. | 40 And with the one lamb a tenth deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil; and the fourth part of an hin of wine for a drink offering. |
| 41 Vous offrirez au soir le second agneau comme un sacrifice d'une excellente odeur, d'après le même rite que l'oblation du matin. | 41 And the other lamb thou shalt offer at even, and shalt do thereto according to the meat offering of the morning, and according to the drink offering thereof, for a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the LORD. |
| 42 C'est le sacrifice qui doit être offert au Seigneur par une succession continuée de race en race à l'entrée du tabernacle du témoignage devant le Seigneur, où J'ai résolu de vous parler. | 42 This shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD: where I will meet you, to speak there unto thee. |
| 43 C'est de là que Je donnerai Mes ordres pour les enfants d'Israël, et l'autel sera sanctifié par la présence de Ma gloire. | 43 And there I will meet with the children of Israel, and the tabernacle shall be sanctified by my glory. |
| 44 Je sanctifierai aussi le tabernacle du témoignage avec l'autel, et Aaron avec ses fils, afin qu'ils exercent les fonctions de Mon sacerdoce. | 44 And I will sanctify the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar: I will sanctify also both Aaron and his sons, to minister to me in the priest's office. |
| 45 J'habiterai au milieu des enfants d'Israël et Je serai leur Dieu; | 45 And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God. |
| 46 Et ils connaîtront que Je suis leur Seigneur et leur Dieu, qui les ai tirés de l'Egypte afin de demeurer au milieu d'eux, Moi qui suis leur Seigneur et leur Dieu. | 46 And they shall know that I am the LORD their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them: I am the LORD their God. |
