| 1 Vous ferez le tabernacle en cette manière: Il y aura dix rideaux de fin lin retors, de couleur d'hyacinthe, de pourpre et d'écarlate teinte deux fois. Ils seront parsemés d'ouvrages de broderie. | 1 Moreover thou shalt make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work shalt thou make them. |
| 2 Chaque rideau aura vingt-huit coudées de long et quatre de large. Tous les rideaux seront d'une même mesure. | 2 The length of one curtain shall be eight and twenty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and every one of the curtains shall have one measure. |
| 3 Cinq de ces rideaux tiendront l'un à l'autre, et les cinq autres seront joints de même. | 3 The five curtains shall be coupled together one to another; and other five curtains shall be coupled one to another. |
| 4 Vous mettrez aussi des cordons d'hyacinthe au côté et à l'extrémité des rideaux, afin qu'ils puissent s'attacher l'un à l'autre. | 4 And thou shalt make loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling; and likewise shalt thou make in the uttermost edge of another curtain, in the coupling of the second. |
| 5 Chaque rideau aura cinquante cordons de chaque côté, placés de telle sorte que lorsqu'on approchera les rideaux, les cordons de l'un répondent à ceux de l'autre et qu'on les puisse attacher ensemble. | 5 Fifty loops shalt thou make in the one curtain, and fifty loops shalt thou make in the edge of the curtain that is in the coupling of the second; that the loops may take hold one of another. |
| 6 Vous ferez aussi cinquante anneaux d'or, qui serviront à joindre ensemble les deux voiles composés chacun des cinq rideaux, afin qu'il ne s'en fasse qu'un seul tabernacle. | 6 And thou shalt make fifty taches of gold, and couple the curtains together with the taches: and it shall be one tabernacle. |
| 7 Vous ferez encore onze toiles de poils de chèvres, pour couvrir le dessus du tabernacle. | 7 And thou shalt make curtains of goats' hair to be a covering upon the tabernacle: eleven curtains shalt thou make. |
| 8 Chacune de ces toiles aura trente coudées de long et quatre de large, et elles seront toutes de la même mesure. | 8 The length of one curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and the eleven curtains shall be all of one measure. |
| 9 Vous en joindrez cinq ensemble par le bas, et les six autres se tiendront aussi l'une à l'autre, en sorte que vous repliiez en deux la sixième en avant du tabernacle. | 9 And thou shalt couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and shalt double the sixth curtain in the forefront of the tabernacle. |
| 10 Vous mettrez aussi cinquante cordons aux bords d'une de ces couvertures, afin qu'on la puisse joindre avec l'autre, et cinquante au bord de l'autre, pour l'attacher à celle qui la touchera. | 10 And thou shalt make fifty loops on the edge of the one curtain that is outmost in the coupling, and fifty loops in the edge of the curtain which coupleth the second. |
| 11 Vous ferez aussi cinquante agrafes d'airain, par lesquelles vous ferez passer ces cordons, afin que de tous ces rideaux il ne se fasse qu'une seule couverture. | 11 And thou shalt make fifty taches of brass, and put the taches into the loops, and couple the tent together, that it may be one. |
| 12 Et parce que, de ces toiles destinées à couvrir le tabernacle il y en aura une de surplus, vous en emploierez la moitié pour couvrir le fond du tabernacle. | 12 And the remnant that remaineth of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remaineth, shall hang over the backside of the tabernacle. |
| 13 Et comme ces toiles déborderont d'une coudée d'un côté et d'une coudée de l'autre, ce qui pendra de surplus servira à couvrir les deux côtés du tabernacle. | 13 And a cubit on the one side, and a cubit on the other side of that which remaineth in the length of the curtains of the tent, it shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to cover it. |
| 14 Vous ferez encore, pour mettre à couvert le tabernacle, une troisième couverture de peaux de mouton, teintes en rouge, et par-dessus vous en mettrez une quatrième, de peaux teintes en bleu céleste. | 14 And thou shalt make a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering above of badgers' skins. |
| 15 Vous ferez des ais de bois de sétim pour le tabernacle, qui se tiendront debout. | 15 And thou shalt make boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood standing up. |
| 16 Chacun de ces ais auront dix coudées de haut et une coudée et demie de large. | 16 Ten cubits shall be the length of a board, and a cubit and a half shall be the breadth of one board. |
| 17 Chaque ais aura deux tenons, afin qu'ils s'emboîtent l'un dans l'autre, et tous les ais seront disposés de cette même manière. | 17 Two tenons shall there be in one board, set in order one against another: thus shalt thou make for all the boards of the tabernacle. |
| 18 Il y en aura vingt du côté méridional, qui regarde le midi. | 18 And thou shalt make the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards on the south side southward. |
| 19 Vous ferez fondre quarante bases d'argent, afin que chaque ais soit porté sur deux bases qui en soutiennent les deux angles. | 19 And thou shalt make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for his two tenons, and two sockets under another board for his two tenons. |
| 20 Il y aura aussi vingt ais au second côté du tabernacle, qui regarde l'aquilon. | 20 And for the second side of the tabernacle on the north side there shall be twenty boards: |
| 21 Ils seront soutenus sur quarante bases d'argent, chaque ais en ayant deux pour le porter. | 21 And their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board. |
| 22 Mais vous ferez six ais pour le côté du tabernacle qui regarde l'occident, | 22 And for the sides of the tabernacle westward thou shalt make six boards. |
| 23 Et deux autres qui seront dressés aux angles du fond du tabernacle. | 23 And two boards shalt thou make for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides. |
| 24 Ils seront joints depuis le bas jusqu'au haut, et ils seront tous emboîtés l'un dans l'autre. Les deux ais aussi qui seront mis aux angles seront joints comme les six autres. | 24 And they shall be coupled together beneath, and they shall be coupled together above the head of it unto one ring: thus shall it be for them both; they shall be for the two corners. |
| 25 Il y aura huit ais en tout, qui auront seize bases d'argent, chaque ais en ayant deux pour le soutenir. | 25 And they shall be eight boards, and their sockets of silver, sixteen sockets; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board. |
| 26 Vous ferez aussi de barres de bois de sétim, cinq pour tenir fermes tous les ais d'un des côtés du tabernacle, | 26 And thou shalt make bars of shittim wood; five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle, |
| 27 Cinq autres pour l'autre côté, et cinq de même pour celui celui qui regarde l'occident. | 27 And five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side of the tabernacle, for the two sides westward. |
| 28 Elles s'appliqueront de travers contre tous ces ais depuis un bout jusqu'à l'autre. | 28 And the middle bar in the midst of the boards shall reach from end to end. |
| 29 Vous couvrirez les ais de lames d'or, et vous y ferez des anneaux d'or pour y passer des barres de bois qui tiendront ensemble tous les ais, et vous couvrirez aussi ces barres de bois de lames d'or. | 29 And thou shalt overlay the boards with gold, and make their rings of gold for places for the bars: and thou shalt overlay the bars with gold. |
| 30 Vous dresserez le tabernacle selon le modèle qui vous en a été montré sur la montagne. | 30 And thou shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which was shewed thee in the mount. |
| 31 Vous ferez aussi un voile de couleur d'hyacinthe, de pourpre, d'écarlate teinte deux fois et de fin lin retors, où vous tracerez un ouvrage de broderie avec une agréable variété. | 31 And thou shalt make a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubims shall it be made: |
| 32 Vous le suspendrez à quatre colonnes de bois de sétim, qui seront couvertes d'or et qui auront des chapiteaux d'or et des bases d'argent. | 32 And thou shalt hang it upon four pillars of shittim wood overlaid with gold: their hooks shall be of gold, upon the four sockets of silver. |
| 33 Le voile tiendra aux colonnes par des anneaux. Vous mettrez au dedans du voile l'arche du témoignage, et le voile séparera le Saint d'avec le Saint des saints. | 33 And thou shalt hang up the vail under the taches, that thou mayest bring in thither within the vail the ark of the testimony: and the vail shall divide unto you between the holy place and the most holy. |
| 34 Vous mettrez aussi, dans le Saint des saints, le propitiatoire au-dessus de l'arche où sera enfermée la loi. | 34 And thou shalt put the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place. |
| 35 Vous mettrez la table au dehors du voile, et le chandelier vis-à-vis de la table, du côté du tabernacle qui est au midi, parce que la table sera placée du côté du septentrion. | 35 And thou shalt set the table without the vail, and the candlestick over against the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south: and thou shalt put the table on the north side. |
| 36 Vous ferez aussi, pour l'entrée du tabernacle, un voile qui sera d'hyacinthe, de pourpre, d'écarlate teinte deux fois, de fin lin retors sur lequel vous ferez un ouvrage de broderie. | 36 And thou shalt make an hanging for the door of the tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework. |
| 37 Le voile sera suspendu à cinq colonnes de bois de sétim couvertes d'or, dont les chapiteaux seront d'or et les bases d'airain. | 37 And thou shalt make for the hanging five pillars of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, and their hooks shall be of gold: and thou shalt cast five sockets of brass for them. |
