| 1 Israël partit donc avec tout ce qu’il possédait, et il arriva à Bersabée où il offrit des sacrifices au Dieu de son père Isaac. | 1 So Israel took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beer-sheba, and offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac. |

| 5 Jacob quitta donc Bersabée et les fils d’Israël transportèrent leur père Jacob avec leurs petits enfants et leurs femmes, sur les chariots que Pharaon avait envoyés pour les transporter. | 5 Then Jacob set out from Beer-sheba; and the sons of Israel carried Jacob their father, their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh had sent to carry him. |
