Psalms 28

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 [Of David] To you, Yahweh, I cry, my rock, do not be deaf to me! If you stay silent I shall be like thosewho sink into oblivion.	1 De David. Hacia ti clamo, Yahveh, roca mía, no estés mudo ante mí; no sea yo, ante tu silencio, igual que los que bajan a la fosa.
2 Hear the sound of my prayer when I cal upon you, when I raise my hands, Yahweh, towards your Holyof Holies.	2 Oye la voz de mis plegarias, cuando grito hacia ti, cuando elevo mis manos, oh Yahveh, al santuario de tu santidad.
3 Do not drag me away with the wicked, with evil-doers, who talk to their partners of peace withtreachery in their hearts.	3 No me arrebates con los impíos, ni con los agentes de mal, que hablan de paz a su vecino, mas la maldad está en su corazón.
4 Repay them as their deeds deserve, as befits their treacherous actions; as befits their handiworkrepay them, let their deserts fall back on themselves.	4 Dales, Yahveh, conforme a sus acciones, y a la malicia de sus hechos, según la obra de sus manos trátales, págales con su misma moneda.
5 They do not comprehend the deeds of Yahweh, the work of his hands. May he pul them down and notrebuild them!	5 Pues no comprenden los hechos de Yahveh, la obra de sus manos: ¡derríbelos él y no los rehabilite!
6 Blessed be Yahweh for he hears the sound of my prayer.	6 ¡Bendito sea Yahveh, que ha oído la voz de mis plegarias!
7 Yahweh is my strength and my shield, in him my heart trusts. I have been helped; my body hasrecovered its vigour, with all my heart I thank him.	7 Yahveh mi fuerza, escudo mío, en él confió mi corazón y he recibido ayuda: mi carne de nuevo ha florecido, le doy gracias de todo corazón.
8 Yahweh is the strength of his people, a safe refuge for his anointed.	8 Yahveh, fuerza de su pueblo, fortaleza de salvación para su ungido.
9 Save your people, bless your heritage, shepherd them and carry them for ever!	9 Salva a tu pueblo, bendice a tu heredad, pastoréalos y llévalos por siempre.
