1 Hallelujah! Praise the LORD from the heavens; give praise in the heights.	1 Halleluja! Lobt den Herrn vom Himmel her, lobt ihn in den Höhen:
2 Praise him, all you angels; give praise, all you hosts.	2 Lobt ihn, all seine Engel, lobt ihn, all seine Scharen;
3 Praise him, sun and moon; give praise, all shining stars.	3 lobt ihn, Sonne und Mond, lobt ihn, all ihr leuchtenden Sterne;
4 Praise him, highest heavens, you waters above the heavens.	4 lobt ihn, alle Himmel und ihr Wasser über dem Himmel!
5 Let them all praise the LORD'S name; for the LORD commanded and they were created,	5 Loben sollen sie den Namen des Herrn; denn er gebot, und sie waren erschaffen.
6 Assigned them duties forever, gave them tasks that will never change.	6 Er stellte sie hin für immer und ewig, er gab ihnen ein Gesetz, das sie nicht übertreten.
7 Praise the LORD from the earth, you sea monsters and all deep waters;	7 Lobt den Herrn, ihr auf der Erde, ihr Seeungeheuer und all ihr Tiefen,
8 You lightning and hail, snow and clouds, storm winds that fulfill his command;	8 Feuer und Hagel, Schnee und Nebel, du Sturmwind, der sein Wort vollzieht,
9 You mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars;	9 ihr Berge und all ihr Hügel, ihr Fruchtbäume und alle Zedern,
10 You animals wild and tame, you creatures that crawl and fly;	10 ihr wilden Tiere und alles Vieh, Kriechtiere und gefiederte Vögel,
11 You kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all who govern on earth;	11 ihr Könige der Erde und alle Völker, ihr Fürsten und alle Richter auf Erden,
12 Young men and women too, old and young alike.	12 ihr jungen Männer und auch ihr Mädchen, ihr Alten mit den Jungen!
13 Let them all praise the LORD'S name, for his name alone is exalted, majestic above earth and heaven.	13 Loben sollen sie den Namen des Herrn; denn sein Name allein ist erhaben, seine Hoheit strahlt über Erde und Himmel.
14 The LORD has lifted high the horn of his people; to the glory of all the faithful, of Israel, the people near to their God. Hallelujah!	14 Seinem Volk verleiht er Macht, das ist ein Ruhm für all seine Frommen, für Israels Kinder, das Volk, das ihm nahen darf. Halleluja!
