1 They brought in the ark of God and set it within the tent which David had pitched for it. Then they offered up holocausts and peace offerings to God.	1 И принесли ковчег Божий, и поставили его среди скинии, которую устроил для него Давид, и вознесли Богу всесожжения и мирные жертвы.
2 When David had finished offering up the holocausts and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD,	2 Когда Давид окончил всесожжения и приношение мирных жертв, то благословил народ именем Господа
3 and distributed to every Israelite, to every man and every woman, a loaf of bread, a piece of meat, and a raisin cake.	3 и роздал всем Израильтянам, и мужчинам и женщинам, по одному хлебу и по куску мяса и по кружке вина,
4 He now appointed certain Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, to celebrate, thank, and praise the LORD, the God of Israel.	4 и поставил на службу пред ковчегом Господним [некоторых] из левитов, чтобы они славословили, благодарили и превозносили Господа Бога Израилева:
5 Asaph was their chief, and second to him were Zechariah, Uzziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-edom, and Jeiel. These were to play on harps and lyres, while Asaph was to sound the cymbals,	5 Асафа главным, вторым по нем Захарию, Иеиела, Шемирамофа, Иехиила, Маттафию, Елиава, и Ванею, Овед-Едома и Иеиела с псалтирями и цитрами, и Асафа для игры на кимвалах,
6 and the priests Benaiah and Jahaziel were to be the regular trumpeters before the ark of the covenant of God.	6 а Ванею и Озиила, священников, [чтобы] постоянно [трубили] пред ковчегом завета Божия.
7 Then, on that same day, David appointed Asaph and his brethren to sing for the first time these praises of the LORD:	7 В этот день Давид в первый раз дал псалом для славословия Господу чрез Асафа и братьев его:
8 Give thanks to the LORD, invoke his name; make known among the nations his deeds.	8 славьте Господа, провозглашайте имя Его; возвещайте в народах дела Его;
9 Sing to him, sing his praise, proclaim all his wondrous deeds.	9 пойте Ему, бряцайте Ему; поведайте о всех чудесах Его;
10 Glory in his holy name; rejoice, O hearts that seek the LORD!	10 хвалитесь именем Его святым; да веселится сердце ищущих Господа;
11 Look to the LORD in his strength; seek to serve him constantly.	11 взыщите Господа и силы Его, ищите непрестанно лица Его;
12 Recall the wondrous deeds that he has wrought, his portents, and the judgments he has uttered,	12 поминайте чудеса, которые Он сотворил, знамения Его и суды уст Его,
13 You descendants of Israel, his servants, sons of Jacob, his chosen ones!	13 [вы], семя Израилево, рабы Его, сыны Иакова, избранные Его!
14 He, the LORD, is our God; throughout the earth his judgments prevail.	14 Он Господь Бог наш; суды Его по всей земле.
15 He remembers forever his covenant which he made binding for a thousand generations--	15 Помните вечно завет Его, слово, которое Он заповедал в тысячу родов,
16 Which he entered into with Abraham and by his oath to Isaac;	16 то, что завещал Аврааму, и в чем клялся Исааку,
17 Which he established for Jacob by statute, for Israel as an everlasting covenant,	17 и что поставил Иакову в закон и Израилю в завет вечный,
18 Saying, "To you will I give the land of Canaan as your allotted inheritance."	18 говоря: 'тебе дам Я землю Ханаанскую, в наследственный удел вам'.
19 When they were few in number, a handful, and strangers there,	19 Они были тогда малочисленны и ничтожны, и пришельцы в ней,
20 Wandering from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people,	20 и переходили от народа к народу и из одного царства к другому народу;
21 He let no one oppress them, and for their sake he rebuked kings:	21 но Он никому не позволил обижать их, и обличал за них царей:
22 "Touch not my anointed, and to my prophets do no harm."	22 'Не прикасайтеся к помазанным Моим, и пророкам Моим не делайте зла'.
23 Sing to the LORD, all the earth, announce his salvation, day after day	23 Пойте Господу, вся земля, благовествуйте изо дня в день спасение Его.
24 Tell his glory among the nations; among all peoples, his wondrous deeds.	24 Возвещайте язычникам славу Его, всем народам чудеса Его,
25 For great is the LORD and highly to be praised; and awesome is he, beyond all gods.	25 ибо велик Господь и достохвален, страшен паче всех богов.
26 For all the gods of the nations are things of nought, but the LORD made the heavens.	26 Ибо все боги народов ничто, а Господь небеса сотворил.
27 Splendor and majesty go before him; praise and joy are in his holy place.	27 Слава и величие пред лицем Его, могущество и радость на месте Его.
28 Give to the LORD, you families of nations, give to the LORD glory and praise;	28 Воздайте Господу, племена народов, воздайте Господу славу и честь,
29 Give to the LORD the glory due his name! Bring gifts, and enter his presence; worship the LORD in holy attire.	29 воздайте Господу славу имени Его. Возьмите дар, идите пред лице Его, поклонитесь Господу в благолепии святыни Его.
30 Tremble before him, all the earth; he has made the world firm, not to be moved.	30 Трепещи пред Ним, вся земля, ибо Он основал вселенную, она не поколеблется.
31 Let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice; let them say among the nations: The LORD is king.	31 Да веселятся небеса, да торжествует земля, и да скажут в народах: Господь царствует!
32 Let the sea and what fills it resound; let the plains rejoice and all that is in them!	32 Да плещет море и что наполняет его, да радуется поле и все, что на нем.
33 Then shall all the trees of the forest exult before the LORD, for he comes: he comes to rule the earth.	33 Да ликуют вместе все дерева дубравные пред лицем Господа, ибо Он идет судить землю.
34 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his kindness endures forever;	34 Славьте Господа, ибо вовек милость Его,
35 And say, "Save us, O God, our savior, gather us and deliver us from the nations, That we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in praising you."	35 и скажите: спаси нас, Боже, Спаситель наш! Собери нас и избавь нас от народов, да славим святое имя Твое и да хвалимся славою Твоею!
36 Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, through all eternity! Let all the people say, Amen! Alleluia.	36 Благословен Господь Бог Израилев, от века и до века! И сказал весь народ: аминь! аллилуия!
37 Then David left Asaph and his brethren there before the ark of the covenant of the LORD to minister before the ark regularly according to the daily ritual;	37 Давид оставил там, пред ковчегом завета Господня, Асафа и братьев его, чтоб они служили пред ковчегом постоянно, каждый день,
38 he also left there Obed-edom and sixty-eight of his brethren, including Obed-edom, son of Jeduthun, and Hosah, to be gatekeepers.	38 и Овед-Едома и братьев его, шестьдесят восемь [человек]; Овед-Едома, сына Идифунова, и Хосу--привратниками,
39 But the priest Zadok and his priestly brethren he left before the Dwelling of the LORD on the high place at Gibeon,	39 а Садока священника и братьев его священников пред жилищем Господним, что на высоте в Гаваоне,
40 to offer holocausts to the LORD on the altar of holocausts regularly, morning and evening, and to do all that is written in the law of the LORD which he has decreed for Israel.	40 для возношения всесожжений Господу на жертвеннике всесожжения постоянно, утром и вечером, и для всего, что написано в законе Господа, который Он заповедал Израилю;
41 With them were Heman and Jeduthun and the others who were chosen and designated by name to give thanks to the LORD, "because his kindness endures forever,"	41 и с ними Емана и Идифуна и прочих избранных, которые назначены поименно, чтобы славить Господа, ибо навек милость Его.
42 with trumpets and cymbals for accompaniment, and instruments for the sacred chant. The sons of Jeduthun kept the gate.	42 При них Еман и Идифун прославляли Бога, играя на трубах, кимвалах и разных музыкальных орудиях; сыновей же Идифуна [поставил] при вратах.
43 Then all the people departed, each to his own home, and David returned to bless his household.	43 И пошел весь народ, каждый в свой дом; возвратился и Давид, чтобы благословить дом свой.
