1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.	1 Cantique des montées. J’élève mon regard vers les monts: d’où me viendra le secours?
2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.	2 Mon secours est dans le Seigneur qui a fait le ciel et la terre.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.	3 - Ne laissera-t-il pas broncher ton pied, ne pourrait-il sommeiller, celui qui te garde?
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.	4 - Mais non, il ne sommeille pas, il ne dort pas, le gardien d’Israël.
5 The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.	5 Le Seigneur te protège et te garde à son ombre, il est là à ta droite.
6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.	6 Les coups de soleil, de jour, ne seront pas pour toi, ni les sorts de la lune à la nuit.
7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.	7 Le Seigneur te gardera de tout mal, il veillera sur ton âme.
8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.	8 Le Seigneur te garde à l’aller, au retour, dès maintenant et jusqu’à la fin.
