Psalms 99

1 A psalm for David himself. The Lord hath reigned, let the people be angry: he that sitteth on the cherubims: let the earth be moved.	1 O Senhor reina, tremem os povos; seu trono está sobre os querubins: vacila a terra.
2 The Lord is great in Sion, and high above all people.	2 Grande é o Senhor em Sião, elevado acima de todos os povos.
3 Let them give praise to thy great name: for it is terrible and holy:	3 Seja celebrado vosso grande e temível nome, porque ele é Santo.
4 and the king's honour loveth judgment. Thou hast prepared directions: thou hast done judgment and justice in Jacob.	4 Reina o Rei poderoso que ama a justiça; sois vós que estabeleceis o que é reto, sois vos que exerceis em Jacó o direito e a justiça.
5 Exalt ye the Lord our God, and adore his footstool, for it is holy.	5 Exaltai ao Senhor, nosso Deus, e prostrai-vos ante o escabelo de seus pés, porque ele é Santo.
6 Moses and Aaron among his priests: and Samuel among them that call upon his name. They called upon the Lord, and he heard them:	6 Entre seus sacerdotes estavam Moisés e Aarão, e Samuel um dos que invocaram o seu nome: clamavam ao Senhor, que os atendia.
7 he spoke to them in the pillar of the cloud. They kept his testimonies, and the commandment which he gave them.	7 Falava-lhes na coluna de nuvem, eles guardavam os seus preceitos e a lei que lhes havia dado.
8 Thou didst hear them, O Lord our God: thou wast a merciful God to them, and taking vengeance on all their inventions.	8 Senhor, nosso Deus, vós os ouvistes, fostes para eles um Deus propício, ainda quando puníeis as suas injustiças.
9 Exalt ye the Lord our God, and adore at his holy mountain: for the Lord our God is holy.	9 Exaltai ao Senhor, nosso Deus, e prostrai-vos ante sua montanha santa, porque santo é o Senhor, nosso Deus.
