Psalms 99

1 A psalm for David himself. The Lord hath reigned, let the people be angry: he that sitteth on the cherubims: let the earth be moved.	1 Reina Yahveh, los pueblos tiemblan; se sienta en querubines, la tierra se estremece;
2 The Lord is great in Sion, and high above all people.	2 grande es Yahveh en Sión. Excelso sobre los pueblos todos;
3 Let them give praise to thy great name: for it is terrible and holy:	3 loen tu nombre grande y venerable: santo es él.
4 and the king's honour loveth judgment. Thou hast prepared directions: thou hast done judgment and justice in Jacob.	4 Poderoso rey que el juicio ama, tú has fundado el derecho, juicio y justicia tú ejerces en Jacob.
5 Exalt ye the Lord our God, and adore his footstool, for it is holy.	5 Exaltad a Yahveh nuestro Dios, postraos ante el estrado de sus pies: santo es él.
6 Moses and Aaron among his priests: and Samuel among them that call upon his name. They called upon the Lord, and he heard them:	6 Moisés y Aarón entre sus sacerdotes, Samuel entre aquellos que su nombre invocaban, invocaban a Yahveh y él les respondía.
7 he spoke to them in the pillar of the cloud. They kept his testimonies, and the commandment which he gave them.	7 En la columna de nube les hablaba, ellos guardaban sus dictámenes, la ley que él les dio.
8 Thou didst hear them, O Lord our God: thou wast a merciful God to them, and taking vengeance on all their inventions.	8 Yahveh, Dios nuestro, tú les respondías, Dios paciente eras para ellos, aunque vengabas sus delitos.
9 Exalt ye the Lord our God, and adore at his holy mountain: for the Lord our God is holy.	9 Exaltad a Yahveh nuestro Dios, postraos ante su monte santo: santo es Yahveh, nuestro Dios.
