1 A psalm for David himself. The Lord hath reigned, let the people be angry: he that sitteth on the cherubims: let the earth be moved.	1 Dávid zsoltára. Király az Úr! Reszkessenek a népek; A kerubok fölött trónol, rettegjen a föld!
2 The Lord is great in Sion, and high above all people.	2 Nagy az Úr a Sionon, fölséges minden nép felett.
3 Let them give praise to thy great name: for it is terrible and holy:	3 Magasztalják nagy és félelmetes nevedet, mert szentséges.
4 and the king's honour loveth judgment. Thou hast prepared directions: thou hast done judgment and justice in Jacob.	4 A nagy király az igazságot szereti: te rendeltél egyenességet, te szereztél Jákobban törvényt és igazságot.
5 Exalt ye the Lord our God, and adore his footstool, for it is holy.	5 Magasztaljátok az Urat, a mi Istenünket, boruljatok le lábának zsámolya előtt, mert szentséges ő!
6 Moses and Aaron among his priests: and Samuel among them that call upon his name. They called upon the Lord, and he heard them:	6 Papjai közt volt Mózes és Áron, és Sámuel azok között, akik segítségül hívták a nevét. Segítségül hívták az Urat, és meghallgatta őket,
7 he spoke to them in the pillar of the cloud. They kept his testimonies, and the commandment which he gave them.	7 a felhőoszlopból szólt hozzájuk. Ők megtartották rendeleteit, s a törvényt, amelyet adott nekik.
8 Thou didst hear them, O Lord our God: thou wast a merciful God to them, and taking vengeance on all their inventions.	8 Urunk, Istenünk, te meghallgattad őket; Kegyes voltál hozzájuk, Isten, bár megbüntetted minden vétküket.
9 Exalt ye the Lord our God, and adore at his holy mountain: for the Lord our God is holy.	9 Magasztaljátok az Urat, a mi Istenünket, boruljatok le szent hegyén, mert szent az Úr, a mi Istenünk!
