Psalms 29

DOUAI-RHEIMS	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 A psalm for David, at the finishing of the tabernacle. Bring to the Lord, O ye children of God: bring to the Lord the offspring of rams.	1 Salmo de David. ¡Aclamen al Señor, hijos de Dios, aclamen al gloria y el poder del Señor!
2 Bring to the Lord glory and honour: bring to the Lord glory to his name: adore ye the Lord in his holy court.	2 ¡Aclamen la gloria del hombre del Señor, adórenlo al manifestarse su santidad!
3 The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the God of majesty hath thundered, The Lord is upon many waters.	3 ¡La voz del Señor sobre las aguas! El Dios de la gloria hace oír su trueno: el Señor está sobre las aguas torrenciales.
4 The voice of the Lord is in power; the voice of the Lord in magnificence.	4 ¡La voz del Señor es potente, la voz del Señor es majestuosa!
5 The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars: yea, the Lord shall break the cedars of Libanus.	5 La voz del Señor parte los cedros, el Señor parte los cedros del Líbano;
6 And shall reduce them to pieces, as a calf of Libanus, and as the beloved son of unicorns.	6 hace saltar al Líbano como a un novillo y al Sirión como a un toro salvaje.
7 The voice of the Lord divideth the flame of fire:	7 La voz del Señor lanza llamas de fuego;
8 The voice of the Lord shaketh the desert: and the Lord shall shake the desert of Cades.	8 la voz del Señor hace temblar el desierto, el Señor hace temblar el desierto de Cades.
9 The voice of the Lord prepareth the stags: and he will discover the thick woods: and in his temple all shall speak his glory.	9 La voz del Señor retuerce las encinas, el Señor arrasa las selvas. En su Templo, todos dicen: «¡Gloria!».
10 The Lord maketh the hood to dwell: and the Lord shall sit king for ever. The Lord will give strength to his people: the Lord will bless his people with peace.	10 El Señor tiene su trono sobre las aguas celestiales, el Señor se sienta en su trono de Rey eterno.
	11 El Señor fortalece a su pueblo, el Señor bendice a su pueblo con la paz.
