| 1 ¡Despierta, despierta, revístete de tu fuerza, Sión! ¡Vístete con tus vestidos más bellos, Jerusalén, Ciudad santa! Porque ya no entrarán más en ti el incircunciso ni el impuro. | 1 Awake, awake, put on your strength, O Zion; put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city; for there shall no more come into you the uncircumcised and the unclean. |
| 2 ¡Sacúdete el polvo, levántate, Jerusalén cautiva! ¡Desata las ataduras de tu cuello, hija de Sión cautiva! | 2 Shake yourself from the dust, arise, O captive Jerusalem; loose the bonds from your neck, O captive daughter of Zion. |
| 3 Porque así habla el Señor: Ustedes fueron vendidos por nada, y también sin dinero serán redimidos. | 3 For thus says the LORD: "You were sold for nothing, and you shall be redeemed without money. |
| 4 Porque así habla el Señor: Mi Pueblo bajó primero a Egipto, para residir allí como extranjero, y luego Asiria lo oprimió sin razón. | 4 For thus says the Lord GOD: My people went down at the first into Egypt to sojourn there, and the Assyrian oppressed them for nothing. |
| 5 Y ahora, ¿qué tengo que hacer yo aquí –oráculo del Señor–, ya que mi Pueblo ha sido deportado por nada? Sus dominadores lanzan alaridos –oráculo del Señor– y todo el día, sin cesar, es despreciado mi Nombre. | 5 Now therefore what have I here, says the LORD, seeing that my people are taken away for nothing? Their rulers wail, says the LORD, and continually all the day my name is despised. |
| 6 Por eso mi Pueblo conocerá mi Nombre en ese día, porque yo soy aquel que dice: «¡Aquí estoy!». | 6 Therefore my people shall know my name; therefore in that day they shall know that it is I who speak; here am I." |
| 7 ¡Qué hermosos son sobre las montañas los pasos del que trae la buena noticia, del que proclama la paz, del que anuncia la felicidad, del que proclama la salvación, y dice a Sión: «¡Tu Dios reina!». | 7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good tidings, who publishes peace, who brings good tidings of good, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, "Your God reigns." |
| 8 ¡Escucha! Tus centinelas levantan la voz, gritan todos juntos de alegría, porque ellos ven con sus propios ojos el regreso del Señor a Sión, | 8 Hark, your watchmen lift up their voice, together they sing for joy; for eye to eye they see the return of the LORD to Zion. |
| 9 ¡Prorrumpan en gritos de alegría, ruinas de Jerusalén, porque el Señor consuela a su Pueblo, él redime a Jerusalén! | 9 Break forth together into singing, you waste places of Jerusalem; for the LORD has comforted his people, he has redeemed Jerusalem. |
| 10 El Señor desnuda su santo brazo a la vista de todas las naciones, verán la salvación de nuestro Dios. | 10 The LORD has bared his holy arm before the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God. |
| 11 ¡Retírense, retírense, salgan de aquí, no toquen nada impuro! ¡Salgan de en medio de ella, purifíquense, los que llevan los vasos del Señor! | 11 Depart, depart, go out thence, touch no unclean thing; go out from the midst of her, purify yourselves, you who bear the vessels of the LORD. |
| 12 Porque no saldrán apresuradamente ni partirán como fugitivos, ya que al frente de ustedes irá el Señor, y en la retaguardia, el Dios de Israel. | 12 For you shall not go out in haste, and you shall not go in flight, for the LORD will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard. |
| 13 Sí, mi Servidor triunfará: será exaltado y elevado a una altura muy grande. | 13 Behold, my servant shall prosper, he shall be exalted and lifted up, and shall be very high. |
| 14 así como muchos quedaron horrorizados a causa de él, porque estaba tan desfigurado que su aspecto no era el de un hombre y su apariencia no era más la de un ser humano, | 14 As many were astonished at him-- his appearance was so marred, beyond human semblance, and his form beyond that of the sons of men-- |
| 15 así también él asombrará a muchas naciones, y ante él los reyes cerrarán la boca, porque verán lo que nunca se les había contado y comprenderán algo que nunca habían oído. | 15 so shall he startle many nations; kings shall shut their mouths because of him; for that which has not been told them they shall see, and that which they have not heard they shall understand. |
