2 Ten piedad de mí, Señor, porque me asedian, todo el día me combaten y me oprimen:	2 Have mercy on me, God, for I am treated harshly; attackers press me all the day.
3 mis enemigos me asedian sin cesar, son muchos los que combaten contra mí.	3 My foes treat me harshly all the day; yes, many are my attackers. O Most High,
4 Cuando me asalta el temor, yo pongo mi confianza en ti, Dios Altísimo;	4 when I am afraid, in you I place my trust.
5 confío en Dios y alabo su Palabra, confío en él y ya no temo: ¿qué puede hacerme un simple mortal?	5 God, I praise your promise; in you I trust, I do not fear. What can mere flesh do to me?
6 Me afligen constantemente con sus palabras, sólo piensan en hacerme daño;	6 All the day they foil my plans; their every thought is of evil against me.
7 conspiran, se esconden y siguen mis rastros, esperando la ocasión de quitarme la vida.	7 They hide together in ambush; they watch my every step; they lie in wait for my life.
8 ¿Podrán librarse a pesar de su maldad? ¡Derriba a esa gente, Dios mío, con tu enojo!	8 They are evil; watch them, God! Cast the nations down in your anger!
9 Tú has anotado los pasos de mi destierro; recoge mis lágrimas en tu odre: ¿acaso no está todo registrado en tu Libro?	9 My wanderings you have noted; are my tears not stored in your vial, recorded in your book?
10 Mis enemigos retrocederán cuando te invoque. Yo sé muy bien que Dios está de mi parte;	10 My foes turn back when I call on you. This I know: God is on my side.
11 confío en Dios y alabo su palabra;	11 God, I praise your promise;
12 confío en él y ya no temo: ¿qué pueden hacerme los hombres?	12 in you I trust, I do not fear. What can mere mortals do to me?
13 Debo cumplir, Dios mío, los votos que te hice: te ofreceré sacrificios de alabanza,	13 I have made vows to you, God; with offerings I will fulfill them,
14 porque tú libraste mi vida de la muerte y mis pies de la caída, para que camine delante de Dios en la luz de la vida.	14 Once you have snatched me from death, kept my feet from stumbling, That I may walk before God in the light of the living.
