1 Il Signore regna! Esulti la terra, si rallegrino le isole tutte.	1 A Psalm of David himself. Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has performed wonders. His right hand has accomplished salvation for him, with his holy arm.
2 Nubi e tenebre lo avvolgono, giustizia e diritto sono la base del suo trono.	2 The Lord has made known his salvation. He has revealed his justice in the sight of the nations.
3 Il fuoco va davanti a lui, consuma tutt'intorno i suoi nemici;	3 He has remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
4 rischiarano il mondo le sue folgori, sussulta, al vederle, la terra.	4 Sing joyfully to God, all the earth. Sing and exult, and sing psalms.
5 I monti fondono come cera davanti a lui, davanti al Signore di tutta la terra.	5 Sing psalms to the Lord with stringed instruments, with strings and the voice of a psalmist,
6 Annunziano la sua giustizia i cieli e contemplano la sua gloria tutti i popoli.	6 with subtle wind instruments and the voice of woodwinds. Make a joyful noise before the Lord our king.
7 Resteranno confusi gli adoratori degl'idoli, quanti si gloriano di nullità. Sono prostrati davanti a lui tutti gli dèi.	7 Let the sea be moved and all its fullness, the whole world and all who dwell in it.
8 Ha udito Sion e ne ha gioito, si sono rallegrate le figlie di Giuda, a causa dei tuoi giudizi, o Signore.	8 The rivers will clap their hands, the mountains will exult together,
9 Sì, tu sei l'Altissimo, Signore, su tutta la terra, oltremodo esaltato al di sopra di tutti gli dèi.	9 before the presence of the Lord. For he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the whole world with justice, and the peoples with fairness.
10 Il Signore ama quanti odiano il male, custodisce la vita dei suoi fedeli, li salva dal potere degli empi.
11 Una luce è sorta per i giusti, un motivo di gioia per i retti di cuore.
12 Esultate nel Signore, o giusti, celebrate il suo santo nome.
