Galatians 6

1 Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Look to yourself, lest you too be tempted.	1 Fratelli, se alcuno di voi sarà preso in alcuno peccato, gli altri che son spirituali si ammaestrino quel tale con spirito di pianezza, considerando sè medesimi, che non siano tentati.
2 Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.	2 Porti l'uno il carico dell' altro; e così adempirete la legge di Cristo.
3 For if any one thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.	3 Chè certo, se alcuno si tiene d' essere alcuna. cosa, quello inganna sè medesimo.
4 But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor.	4 Ma ciascuno proverà le sue opere; e così in sè medesimo averà gloria, e non in altrui.
5 For each man will have to bear his own load.	5 Ciascuno porterà il suo carico.
6 Let him who is taught the word share all good things with him who teaches.	6 Quel ch' è ammaestrato di parole, comunichi insieme a colui che ammaestra di tutte le cose buone sè medesimo.
7 Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.	7 Non errate; chè Dio non sarà sbeffato.
8 For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption; but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.	8 E quelle cose che l'uomo seminerà, quelle raccoglierà; chè quelli che semina nella sua carne, della carne ricoglie corruzione; ma quel che semina nel spirito miete (e ricoglie) vita eterna.
9 And let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not lose heart.	9 Noi che facciamo bene (non ci stanchiamo e) non veniamo meno; chè noi ricoglieremo nel suo tempo, se noi non stanchiamo.
10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.	10 Adunque, mentre avemo tempo, operiamo bene a tutta la gente, e massimamente a coloro che son domestichi della fede.
11 See with what large letters I am writing to you with my own hand.	11 Vedete come scrissi le lettere di mia mano.
12 It is those who want to make a good showing in the flesh that would compel you to be circumcised, and only in order that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.	12 Quegli vogliono piacere nella carne, che son quelli che vi costringono che voi vi circoncidiate, solamente fanno questo, perchò non sostengano persecuzione della croce di Cristo.
13 For even those who receive circumcision do not themselves keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may glory in your flesh.	13 Chè quelli che si circoncidono, non osservano la legge; ma vogliono che vi circoncidiate per gloriarsi nella vostra carne.
14 But far be it from me to glory except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.	14 Ma non piaccia a Dio, ch' io mi rallegri, salvo nella croce del nostro Signore Iesù Cristo; per il quale il mondo è crucifisso a me, e io al mondo.
15 For neither circumcision counts for anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.	15 E in Iesù Cristo la circoncisione non vale alcuna cosa, nè il prepuzio, ma la nuova creatura.
16 Peace and mercy be upon all who walk by this rule, upon the Israel of God.	16 E qualunque andarà per questa regola, pace sia sopra lui e misericordia, e sopra Israel di Dio.
17 Henceforth let no man trouble me; for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.	17 Da ora inanzi niuno mi faccia rincrescimento; chè io porto le piaghe del mio Signore Iesù Cristo nel mio corpo.
18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brethren. Amen.	18 Fratelli, la grazia del nostro Signore Iesù Cristo sia col spirito vostro.
