2 "The people of Israel shall encamp each by his own standard, with the ensigns of their fathers' houses; they shall encamp facing the tent of meeting on every side.	2 איש על דגלו באתת לבית אבתם יחנו בני ישראל מנגד סביב לאהל מועד יחנו
3 Those to encamp on the east side toward the sunrise shall be of the standard of the camp of Judah by their companies, the leader of the people of Judah being Nahshon the son of Amminadab,	3 והחנים קדמה מזרחה דגל מחנה יהודה לצבאתם ונשיא לבני יהודה נחשון בן עמינדב
4 his host as numbered being seventy-four thousand six hundred.	4 וצבאו ופקדיהם ארבעה ושבעים אלף ושש מאות
5 Those to encamp next to him shall be the tribe of Issachar, the leader of the people of Issachar being Nethanel the son of Zuar,	5 והחנים עליו מטה יששכר ונשיא לבני יששכר נתנאל בן צוער
6 his host as numbered being fifty-four thousand four hundred.	6 וצבאו ופקדיו ארבעה וחמשים אלף וארבע מאות
7 Then the tribe of Zebulun, the leader of the people of Zebulun being Eliab the son of Helon,	7 מטה זבולן ונשיא לבני זבולן אליאב בן חלן
8 his host as numbered being fifty-seven thousand four hundred.	8 וצבאו ופקדיו שבעה וחמשים אלף וארבע מאות
9 The whole number of the camp of Judah, by their companies, is a hundred and eighty-six thousand four hundred. They shall set out first on the march.	9 כל הפקדים למחנה יהודה מאת אלף ושמנים אלף וששת אלפים וארבע מאות לצבאתם ראשנה יסעו
10 "On the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben by their companies, the leader of the people of Reuben being Elizur the son of Shedeur,	10 דגל מחנה ראובן תימנה לצבאתם ונשיא לבני ראובן אליצור בן שדיאור
11 his host as numbered being forty-six thousand five hundred.	11 וצבאו ופקדיו ששה וארבעים אלף וחמש מאות
12 And those to encamp next to him shall be the tribe of Simeon, the leader of the people of Simeon being Shelumi-el the son of Zurishaddai,	12 והחונם עליו מטה שמעון ונשיא לבני שמעון שלמיאל בן צורי שדי
13 his host as numbered being fifty-nine thousand three hundred.	13 וצבאו ופקדיהם תשעה וחמשים אלף ושלש מאות
14 Then the tribe of Gad, the leader of the people of Gad being Eliasaph the son of Reuel,	14 ומטה גד ונשיא לבני גד אליסף בן דעואל
15 his host as numbered being forty-five thousand six hundred and fifty.	15 וצבאו ופקדיהם חמשה וארבעים אלף ושש מאות וחמשים
16 The whole number of the camp of Reuben, by their companies, is a hundred and fifty-one thousand four hundred and fifty. They shall set out second.	16 כל הפקדים למחנה ראובן מאת אלף ואחד וחמשים אלף וארבע מאות וחמשים לצבאתם ושנים יסעו
17 "Then the tent of meeting shall set out, with the camp of the Levites in the midst of the camps; as they encamp, so shall they set out, each in position, standard by standard.	17 ונסע אהל מועד מחנה הלוים בתוך המחנת כאשר יחנו כן יסעו איש על ידו לדגליהם
18 "On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim by their companies, the leader of the people of Ephraim being Elishama the son of Ammihud,	18 דגל מחנה אפרים לצבאתם ימה ונשיא לבני אפרים אלישמע בן עמיהוד
19 his host as numbered being forty thousand five hundred.	19 וצבאו ופקדיהם ארבעים אלף וחמש מאות
20 And next to him shall be the tribe of Manasseh, the leader of the people of Manasseh being Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur,	20 ועליו מטה מנשה ונשיא לבני מנשה גמליאל בן פדהצור
21 his host as numbered being thirty-two thousand two hundred.	21 וצבאו ופקדיהם שנים ושלשים אלף ומאתים
22 Then the tribe of Benjamin, the leader of the people of Benjamin being Abidan the son of Gideoni,	22 ומטה בנימן ונשיא לבני בנימן אבידן בן גדעני
23 his host as numbered being thirty-five thousand four hundred.	23 וצבאו ופקדיהם חמשה ושלשים אלף וארבע מאות
24 The whole number of the camp of Ephraim, by their companies, is a hundred and eight thousand one hundred. They shall set out third on the march.	24 כל הפקדים למחנה אפרים מאת אלף ושמנת אלפים ומאה לצבאתם ושלשים יסעו
25 "On the north side shall be the standard of the camp of Dan by their companies, the leader of the people of Dan being Ahi-ezer the son of Ammishaddai,	25 דגל מחנה דן צפנה לצבאתם ונשיא לבני דן אחיעזר בן עמישדי
26 his host as numbered being sixty-two thousand seven hundred.	26 וצבאו ופקדיהם שנים וששים אלף ושבע מאות
27 And those to encamp next to him shall be the tribe of Asher, the leader of the people of Asher being Pagiel the son of Ochran,	27 והחנים עליו מטה אשר ונשיא לבני אשר פגעיאל בן עכרן
28 his host as numbered being forty-one thousand five hundred.	28 וצבאו ופקדיהם אחד וארבעים אלף וחמש מאות
29 Then the tribe of Naphtali, the leader of the people of Naphtali being Ahira the son of Enan,	29 ומטה נפתלי ונשיא לבני נפתלי אחירע בן עינן
30 his host as numbered being fifty-three thousand four hundred.	30 וצבאו ופקדיהם שלשה וחמשים אלף וארבע מאות
31 The whole number of the camp of Dan is a hundred and fifty-seven thousand six hundred. They shall set out last, standard by standard."	31 כל הפקדים למחנה דן מאת אלף ושבעה וחמשים אלף ושש מאות לאחרנה יסעו לדגליהם
32 These are the people of Israel as numbered by their fathers' houses; all in the camps who were numbered by their companies were six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty.	32 אלה פקודי בני ישראל לבית אבתם כל פקודי המחנת לצבאתם שש מאות אלף ושלשת אלפים וחמש מאות וחמשים
33 But the Levites were not numbered among the people of Israel, as the LORD commanded Moses.	33 והלוים לא התפקדו בתוך בני ישראל כאשר צוה יהוה את משה
34 Thus did the people of Israel. According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so they encamped by their standards, and so they set out, every one in his family, according to his fathers' house.	34 ויעשו בני ישראל ככל אשר צוה יהוה את משה כן חנו לדגליהם וכן נסעו איש למשפחתיו על בית אבתיו
