Hosea 14

1 Return, O Israel, to the LORD your God, for you have stumbled because of your iniquity.	1 Samaría tendrá que expiar, porque se ha rebelado contra su Dios. Ellos caerán bajo la espada, su recién nacidos serán estrellados y abrirán el vientre de las embarazadas.
2 Take with you words and return to the LORD; say to him, "Take away all iniquity; accept that which is good and we will render the fruit of our lips.	2 Vuelve, Israel, al Señor de tu Dios, porque tu falta te ha hecho caer.
3 Assyria shall not save us, we will not ride upon horses; and we will say no more, 'Our God,' to the work of our hands. In thee the orphan finds mercy."	3 Preparen lo que van decir y vuelvan al Señor. Díganle: «Borra todas las faltas, acepta lo que hay de bueno, y te ofreceremos el fruto de nuestros labios.
4 I will heal their faithlessness; I will love them freely, for my anger has turned from them.	4 Asiria no nos salvará, ya no montaremos a caballo, ni diremos más «¡Dios nuestro!» a la obra de nuestras manos, porque sólo en ti el huérfano encuentra compasión».
5 I will be as the dew to Israel; he shall blossom as the lily, he shall strike root as the poplar;	5 Yo los curaré de su apostasía, los amaré generosamente, porque mi ira se ha apartado de ellos.
6 his shoots shall spread out; his beauty shall be like the olive, and his fragrance like Lebanon.	6 Seré como rocío para Israel: él florecerá como el lirio, hundirá sus raíces como el bosque del Líbano;
7 They shall return and dwell beneath my shadow, they shall flourish as a garden; they shall blossom as the vine, their fragrance shall be like the wine of Lebanon.	7 sus retoños se extenderán, su esplendor será como el del olivo y su fragancia como la del Líbano.
8 O Ephraim, what have I to do with idols? It is I who answer and look after you. I am like an evergreen cypress, from me comes your fruit.	8 Volverán a sentarse a mi sombre, harán revivir el trigo, florecerán como la viña, y su renombre será como el del vino del Líbano.
9 Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; whoever is discerning, let him know them; for the ways of the LORD are right, and the upright walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them.	9 Efraím, ¿qué tengo aún que ver con los ídolos? Yo le respondo y velo por él. Soy como un ciprés siempre verde, y de mí procede tu fruto.
	10 ¡Que el sabio comprenda estas cosas! ¡Que el hombre inteligente las entienda! Los caminos del Señor son rectos: por ellos caminarán los justos, pero los rebeldes tropezarán en ellos.
