Ezekiel 5

1 "And you, O son of man, take a sharp sword; use it as a barber's razor and pass it over your head and your beard; then take balances for weighing, and divide the hair.	1 Fils d'homme, prends une lame tranchante, prends-la comme rasoir de barbier et fais-la passer surta tête et ta barbe. Puis tu prendras une balance et tu partageras les poils que tu auras coupés.
2 A third part you shall burn in the fire in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are completed; and a third part you shall take and strike with the sword round about the city; and a third part you shall scatter to the wind, and I will unsheathe the sword after them.	2 A un tiers tu mettras le feu au milieu de la ville pendant que s'accompliront les jours du siège. Tuprendras l'autre tiers que tu frapperas de l'épée tout autour de la ville. Tu en répandras au vent le dernier tiers etje tirerai l'épée derrière eux.
3 And you shall take from these a small number, and bind them in the skirts of your robe.	3 Puis tu en prendras une petite quantité que tu recueilleras dans le pan de ton manteau
4 And of these again you shall take some, and cast them into the fire, and burn them in the fire; from there a fire will come forth into all the house of Israel.	4 et de ceux-ci, tu en prendras encore, que tu jetteras au milieu du feu et que tu brûleras. C'est de làque sortira le feu vers toute la maison d'Israël.
5 Thus says the Lord GOD: This is Jerusalem; I have set her in the center of the nations, with countries round about her.	5 Ainsi parle le Seigneur Yahvé: C'est Jérusalem que j'ai placée au milieu des nations, environnée depays étrangers.
6 And she has wickedly rebelled against my ordinances more than the nations, and against my statutes more than the countries round about her, by rejecting my ordinances and not walking in my statutes.	6 Elle s'est rebellée avec perversité contre mes coutumes, plus que les nations, et contre mes lois plusque les pays qui l'entourent. Car ils rejettent mes coutumes, et mes lois, ils ne les pratiquent pas.
7 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Because you are more turbulent than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes or kept my ordinances, but have acted according to the ordinances of the nations that are round about you;	7 C'est pourquoi, ainsi parle le Seigneur Yahvé: Parce que votre tumulte est pire que celui desnations qui vous entourent, parce que vous ne pratiquez pas mes lois et que vous n'observez pas mes coutumes,et que vous n'observez pas non plus les coutumes des nations qui vous entourent,
8 therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I, even I, am against you; and I will execute judgments in the midst of you in the sight of the nations.	8 eh bien! ainsi parle le Seigneur Yahvé: Moi aussi je me déclare contre toi, et aux yeux des nations,j'exécuterai mes jugements au milieu de toi.
9 And because of all your abominations I will do with you what I have never yet done, and the like of which I will never do again.	9 J'agirai chez toi comme jamais je n'ai agi et comme je n'agirai plus jamais, à cause de toutes tesabominations.
10 Therefore fathers shall eat their sons in the midst of you, and sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments on you, and any of you who survive I will scatter to all the winds.	10 C'est pourquoi des pères dévoreront leurs enfants, au milieu de toi, et des enfants dévoreront leurspères. Je ferai justice de toi et je disperserai à tous les vents tout ce qui reste de toi.
11 Wherefore, as I live, says the Lord GOD, surely, because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your detestable things and with all your abominations, therefore I will cut you down; my eye will not spare, and I will have no pity.	11 C'est pourquoi, par ma vie, oracle du Seigneur Yahvé, aussi vrai que tu as souillé mon sanctuairepar toutes tes horreurs et toutes tes abominations, moi aussi je rejetterai sans un regard de pitié, moi non plus jen'épargnerai pas.
12 A third part of you shall die of pestilence and be consumed with famine in the midst of you; a third part shall fall by the sword round about you; and a third part I will scatter to all the winds and will unsheathe the sword after them.	12 Un tiers de tes habitants mourra de la peste et périra par la famine au milieu de toi, un tierstombera par l'épée autour de toi, et j'en disperserai un tiers à tous les vents, en tirant l'épée derrière eux.
13 "Thus shall my anger spend itself, and I will vent my fury upon them and satisfy myself; and they shall know that I, the LORD, have spoken in my jealousy, when I spend my fury upon them.	13 Ma colère sera satisfaite, j'assouvirai sur eux ma fureur et je me vengerai; alors ils sauront quemoi, Yahvé, j'ai parlé dans ma jalousie, quand je satisferai ma colère sur eux.
14 Moreover I will make you a desolation and an object of reproach among the nations round about you and in the sight of all that pass by.	14 Je ferai de toi une ruine, un objet de raillerie parmi les nations qui t'entourent, aux yeux de tousles passants.
15 You shall be a reproach and a taunt, a warning and a horror, to the nations round about you, when I execute judgments on you in anger and fury, and with furious chastisements--I, the LORD, have spoken--	15 Tu seras un objet de raillerie et d'outrages, un exemple, un objet de stupeur pour les nations quit'entourent, lorsque de toi je ferai justice avec colère et fureur, avec des châtiments furieux. Moi, Yahvé, j'ai dit.
16 when I loose against you my deadly arrows of famine, arrows for destruction, which I will loose to destroy you, and when I bring more and more famine upon you, and break your staff of bread.	16 En envoyant contre eux les flèches redoutables de la famine, qui seront votre perte - car je lesenverrai pour vous perdre et j'ajouterai contre vous la famine - je détruirai votre réserve de pain.
17 I will send famine and wild beasts against you, and they will rob you of your children; pestilence and blood shall pass through you; and I will bring the sword upon you. I, the LORD, have spoken."	17 J'enverrai contre vous la famine et les bêtes féroces qui te priveront de tes enfants; la peste et lesang passeront chez toi, et je ferai venir l'épée contre toi. Moi, Yahvé, j'ai dit.
