Leviticus 8

1 The LORD said to Moses,	1 Il Signore parlò a Mosè, dicendo:
2 "Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and the bull of the sin offering, and the two rams, and the basket of unleavened bread;	2 « Prendi Aronne, i suoi figli, i loro paramenti, l'olio dell'unzione, il vitello per il peccato, i due montoni, il canestro degli azzimi,
3 and assemble all the congregation at the door of the tent of meeting."	3 e raduna tutta la moltitudine all'ingresso del Tabernacolo ».
4 And Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and the congregation was assembled at the door of the tent of meeting.	4 Mosè fece come il Signore aveva comandato, e, radunata tutta la turba dinanzi alla porta del Tabernacolo,
5 And Moses said to the congregation, "This is the thing which the LORD has commanded to be done."	5 disse: « Ecco quanto il Signore ha ordinato che si faccia ».
6 And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.	6 Subito presentò Aronne e i suoi figli, e dopo averli lavati,
7 And he put on him the coat, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod upon him, and girded him with the skilfully woven band of the ephod, binding it to him therewith.	7 rivestì il Pontefice della tunica di lino, lo cinse colla cintura, gli mise indosso la veste di giacinto, sopra la quale mise l'Efod,
8 And he placed the breastpiece on him, and in the breastpiece he put the Urim and the Thummim.	8 serrandolo colla cintura e adattandovi sopra il Razionale sul quale era: «Dottrina e Verità ».
9 And he set the turban upon his head, and on the turban, in front, he set the golden plate, the holy crown, as the LORD commanded Moses.	9 Gli copri la testa colla tiara, sopra la quale, alla fronte, pose la lamina d'oro consacrata e santificata, come il Signore gli aveva comandato.
10 Then Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, and consecrated them.	10 Prese poi l'olio d'unzione, e con esso unse il Tabernacolo con tutte le sue suppellettili.
11 And he sprinkled some of it on the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all its utensils, and the laver and its base, to consecrate them.	11 Avendo poi asperso sette volte l'altare per santificarlo, l'unse con tutti i suoi strumenti, ed anche la conca con la sua base consacrò coll'olio.
12 And he poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron's head, and anointed him, to consecrate him.	12 E versando l'olio sulla testa d'Aronne, lo unse e lo consacrò.
13 And Moses brought Aaron's sons, and clothed them with coats, and girded them with girdles, and bound caps on them, as the LORD commanded Moses.	13 Presentò quindi e rivestì di tuniche di lino i figli di lui, li cinse con le cinture, e mise loro in capo le mitre come aveva comandato il Signore.
14 Then he brought the bull of the sin offering; and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the bull of the sin offering.	14 Offrì anche il vitello per il peccato, e dopo che Aronne e i suoi figli ebbero poste sopra il capo di lui le loro mani,
15 And Moses killed it, and took the blood, and with his finger put it on the horns of the altar round about, and purified the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar, and consecrated it, to make atonement for it.	15 lo scannò, ne prese il sangue, e intintovi il dito, toccò all'intorno i corni dell'altare, e, dopo avere espiato e santificato l'altare, versò il resto del sangue ai piedi dell'altare.
16 And he took all the fat that was on the entrails, and the appendage of the liver, and the two kidneys with their fat, and Moses burned them on the altar.	16 Prese poi il grasso che era sopra le viscere, la rete del fegato, i due reni col loro grasso, e fece bruciare tutto sopra l'altare;
17 But the bull, and its skin, and its flesh, and its dung, he burned with fire outside the camp, as the LORD commanded Moses.	17 ma il vitello colla pelle, le carni e gli escrementi, li bruciò fuori del campo, come il Signore aveva comandato.
18 Then he presented the ram of the burnt offering; and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.	18 Offrì pure un montone in olocausto, e avendo Aronne e i suoi figli poste sopra il capo di esso le loro mani,
19 And Moses killed it, and threw the blood upon the altar round about.	19 lo immolò e ne sparse il sangue intorno all'altare.
20 And when the ram was cut into pieces, Moses burned the head and the pieces and the fat.	20 Tagliatolo poi in pezzi, ne bruciò sul fuoco il capo, le membra e il grasso,
21 And when the entrails and the legs were washed with water, Moses burned the whole ram on the altar, as a burnt offering, a pleasing odor, an offering by fire to the LORD, as the LORD commanded Moses.	21 dopo averne lavati gli intestini e i piedi: il montone lo bruciò tutto intero sopra l'altare, perchè era un olocausto di odor soavissimo al Signore, come questi gli aveva comandato.
22 Then he presented the other ram, the ram of ordination; and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.	22 Offrì anche il secondo montone per la consacrazione dei sacerdoti, e Aronne e i suoi figli posero le loro mani sopra di esso.
23 And Moses killed it, and took some of its blood and put it on the tip of Aaron's right ear and on the thumb of his right hand and on the great toe of his right foot.	23 E Mosè, dopo averlo immolato, ne prese del sangue, toccò l'estremità dell'orecchio destro di Aronne e il pollice della mano destra come del piede.
24 And Aaron's sons were brought, and Moses put some of the blood on the tips of their right ears and on the thumbs of their right hands and on the great toes of their right feet; and Moses threw the blood upon the altar round about.	24 Presentò anche i figli di Aronne, e, dopo aver toccato col sangue del montone immolato l'estremità dell'orecchio destro di ciascuno, e i pollici della mano e del piede destro, sparse il resto del sangue sopra l'altare tutto intorno.
25 Then he took the fat, and the fat tail, and all the fat that was on the entrails, and the appendage of the liver, and the two kidneys with their fat, and the right thigh;	25 Separati quindi il grasso, la coda, tutto il grasso che copre gl'intestini, la rete del fegato, i due reni col loro grasso, e la spalla destra,
26 and out of the basket of unleavened bread which was before the LORD he took one unleavened cake, and one cake of bread with oil, and one wafer, and placed them on the fat and on the right thigh;	26 prese dal paniere degli azzimi, che stava davanti al Signore, un pane non lievitato, una schiacciata oliata, una torta, e li pose sopra il grasso e sulla spalla destra.
27 and he put all these in the hands of Aaron and in the hands of his sons, and waved them as a wave offering before the LORD.	27 Dette quindi tutte queste cose insieme ad Aronne e ai suoi figli, e dopo che essi l'ebbero elevate dinanzi al Signore,
28 Then Moses took them from their hands, and burned them on the altar with the burnt offering, as an ordination offering, a pleasing odor, an offering by fire to the LORD.	28 le riprese dalle loro mani, e le fece bruciare sopra l'altare dell'olocausto, perchè era oblazione di consacrazione e sacrifizio di soave odore al Signore.
29 And Moses took the breast, and waved it for a wave offering before the LORD; it was Moses' portion of the ram of ordination, as the LORD commanded Moses.	29 Elevato poi davanti al Signore il petto dell'ariete della consacrazione, lo prese per sua porzione, come il Signore gli aveva comandato.
30 Then Moses took some of the anointing oil and of the blood which was on the altar, and sprinkled it upon Aaron and his garments, and also upon his sons and his sons' garments; so he consecrated Aaron and his garments, and his sons and his sons' garments with him.	30 Prese quindi l'unguento e il sangue che era sopra Fallare e ne asperse Aronne e i suoi paramenti, i figli di lui e i loro paramenti.
31 And Moses said to Aaron and his sons, "Boil the flesh at the door of the tent of meeting, and there eat it and the bread that is in the basket of ordination offerings, as I commanded, saying, 'Aaron and his sons shall eat it';	31 Dopo averli consacrati nei loro paramenti diede loro quest'ordine: « Fate cocere le carni davanti alla porta del Tabernacolo, e mangiatele lì con i pani della consacrazione, che sono stati messi nel paniere, secondo l'ordine del Signore che diceva: Li mangeranno Aronne e i suoi figli.
32 and what remains of the flesh and the bread you shall burn with fire.	32 E quel che rimarrà della carne e del pane, sarà; consumato dal fuoco.
33 And you shall not go out from the door of the tent of meeting for seven days, until the days of your ordination are completed, for it will take seven days to ordain you.	33 Inoltre voi non uscirete dalla porta del Tabernacolo per setxe giorni, finché non sarà compiuto il tempo della vostra consacrazione, che si compie in sette giorni,
34 As has been done today, the LORD has commanded to be done to make atonement for you.	34 come si è fatto ora, affinchè il rito del sacrifizio sia completo.
35 At the door of the tent of meeting you shall remain day and night for seven days, performing what the LORD has charged, lest you die; for so I am commanded."	35 Giorno e notte starete nel Tabernacolo, vegliando al servizio del Signore, per non morire, essendo questo l'ordine che mi è stato dato ».
36 And Aaron and his sons did all the things which the LORD commanded by Moses.	36 E Aronne e i suoi figli fecero tutte le cose comandate dal Signore per mezzo di Mosè.
