Isaiah 62

1 For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until her vindication goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a burning torch.	1 A cause de Sion je ne me tairai pas, à cause de Jérusalem je ne me tiendrai pas en repos, jusqu'à ceque sa justice jaillisse comme une clarté, et son salut comme une torche allumée.
2 The nations shall see your vindication, and all the kings your glory; and you shall be called by a new name which the mouth of the LORD will give.	2 Alors les nations verront ta justice, et tous les rois ta gloire. Alors on t'appellera d'un nom nouveauque la bouche de Yahvé désignera.
3 You shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.	3 Tu seras une couronne de splendeur dans la main de Yahvé, un turban royal dans la main de ton Dieu.
4 You shall no more be termed Forsaken, and your land shall no more be termed Desolate; but you shall be called My delight is in her, and your land Married; for the LORD delights in you, and your land shall be married.	4 On ne te dira plus: "Délaissée" et de ta terre on ne dira plus: "Désolation." Mais on t'appellera: "Monplaisir est en elle" et ta terre: "Epousée." Car Yahvé trouvera en toi son plaisir, et ta terre sera épousée.
5 For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you, and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you.	5 Comme un jeune homme épouse une vierge, ton bâtisseur t'épousera. Et c'est la joie de l'époux ausujet de l'épouse que ton Dieu éprouvera à ton sujet.
6 Upon your walls, O Jerusalem, I have set watchmen; all the day and all the night they shall never be silent. You who put the LORD in remembrance, take no rest,	6 Sur tes remparts, Jérusalem, j'ai posté des veilleurs, de jour et de nuit, jamais ils ne se tairont. Vousqui vous rappelez au souvenir de Yahvé, pas de repos pour vous.
7 and give him no rest until he establishes Jerusalem and makes it a praise in the earth.	7 Ne lui accordez pas de repos qu'il n'ait établi Jérusalem et fait d'elle une louange au milieu du pays.
8 The LORD has sworn by his right hand and by his mighty arm: "I will not again give your grain to be food for your enemies, and foreigners shall not drink your wine for which you have labored;	8 Yahvé l'a juré par sa droite et par son bras puissant: "Je ne donnerai plus ton blé en nourriture à tesennemis, les étrangers ne boiront plus ton vin, le fruit de ton labeur,
9 but those who garner it shall eat it and praise the LORD, and those who gather it shall drink it in the courts of my sanctuary."	9 mais les moissonneurs mangeront le blé et loueront Yahvé, les vendangeurs boiront le vin, dans mesparvis sacrés."
10 Go through, go through the gates, prepare the way for the people; build up, build up the highway, clear it of stones, lift up an ensign over the peoples.	10 Passez, passez par les portes, frayez le chemin de mon peuple, nivelez, nivelez la route, ôtez-en lespierres. Elevez un signal pour les peuples.
11 Behold, the LORD has proclaimed to the end of the earth: Say to the daughter of Zion, "Behold, your salvation comes; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him."	11 Voici que Yahvé se fait entendre jusqu'à l'extrémité de la terre: Dites à la fille de Sion: Voici quevient ton salut, voici avec lui sa récompense, et devant lui son salaire.
12 And they shall be called The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD; and you shall be called Sought out, a city not forsaken.	12 On les appellera: "Le peuple saint", "les rachetés de Yahvé." Quant à toi on t'appellera:"Recherchée", "Ville non délaissée."
