Psalms 60

1 To the choirmaster: according to Shushan Eduth. A Miktam of David; for instruction; when he strove with Aram-naharaim and with Aram-zobah, and when Joab on his return killed twelve thousand of Edom in the Valley of Salt. O God, thou hast rejected us, broken our defenses; thou hast been angry; oh, restore us.	1 Du maître de chant. Sur "Un lys est le précepte." A mi-voix. De David. Pour apprendre.
2 Thou hast made the land to quake, thou hast rent it open; repair its breaches, for it totters.	2 Quand il lutta avec Aram Naharayim et Aram de Coba, et que Joab revint pour battre Edom dans lavallée du Sel, 12.000 hommes.

9 Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?	9 "A moi Galaad, à moi Manassé, Ephraïm, l'armure de ma tête, Juda, mon bâton de commandement,
10 Hast thou not rejected us, O God? Thou dost not go forth, O God, with our armies.	10 "Moab, le bassin où je me lave! sur Edom, je jette ma sandale. Crie donc victoire contre moi,Philistie! "
11 O grant us help against the foe, for vain is the help of man!	11 Qui me mènera dans une ville forte, qui me conduira jusqu'en Edom,
12 With God we shall do valiantly; it is he who will tread down our foes.	12 sinon toi, Dieu, qui nous as rejetés, Dieu qui ne sors plus avec nos armées?
	13 Porte-nous secours dans l'oppression: néant, le salut de l'homme!
	14 Avec Dieu, nous ferons des prouesses, et lui piétinera nos oppresseurs.
