1 A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths I cry to thee, O LORD!	1 Pieśń stopni. Z głębokości wołam do Ciebie, Panie,
2 Lord, hear my voice! Let thy ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications!	2 o Panie, słuchaj głosu mego! Nakłoń swoich uszu ku głośnemu błaganiu mojemu!
3 If thou, O LORD, shouldst mark iniquities, Lord, who could stand?	3 Jeśli zachowasz pamięć o grzechach, Panie, Panie, któż się ostoi?
4 But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.	4 Ale Ty udzielasz przebaczenia, aby Cię otaczano bojaźnią.
5 I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I hope;	5 W Panu pokładam nadzieję, nadzieję żywi moja dusza: oczekuję na Twe słowo.
6 my soul waits for the LORD more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning.	6 Dusza moja oczekuje Pana bardziej niż strażnicy świtu, "bardziej niż strażnicy świtu".
7 O Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is steadfast love, and with him is plenteous redemption.	7 Niech Izrael wygląda Pana. U Pana bowiem jest łaskawość i obfite u Niego odkupienie.
8 And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.	8 On odkupi Izraela ze wszystkich jego grzechów.
