1 A Song of Ascents. Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides for ever.	1 - Cantico de' gradini. Quando il Signore ricondusse gli esuli di Sion, eravamo come trasognati.
2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people, from this time forth and for evermore.	2 Allora fu ripiena [d'un sorriso] di gioia la nostra boccae la lingua nostra di giubilo. Allora si diceva tra le genti:«Grandi cose ha fatto il Signore per essi!».
3 For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest upon the land allotted to the righteous, lest the righteous put forth their hands to do wrong.	3 [Sì], grandi cose ha fatto il Signore per noi; noi siamo in esultanza.
4 Do good, O LORD, to those who are good, and to those who are upright in their hearts!	4 Riconduci, o Signore, i nostri esulicome un torrente nel mezzogiorno.
5 But those who turn aside upon their crooked ways the LORD will lead away with evildoers! Peace be in Israel!	5 Quei che seminan tra le lacrime, nel giubilo mieteranno.
	6 Andavano, andavano e piangevano, spargendo il loro seme: vengono ora, vengono nel giubilo, portando i loro covoni.
