1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers;	1 Heureux cet homme! Il ignore les conseils des impies, il ne suit pas le chemin des pécheurs et n’a pas sa place chez ceux qui se moquent.
2 but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.	2 C’est qu’il a trouvé son bien dans la loi du Seigneur, il la médite, cette loi, de jour et de nuit.
3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water, that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.	3 Il sera comme un arbre feuillu planté juste au bord des eaux, couvert de fruits quand c’est l’époque et dont les feuilles ne tombent pas: il mène à bien tout ce qu’il fait.
4 The wicked are not so, but are like chaff which the wind drives away.	4 C’est le contraire pour les pécheurs: eux sont la paille qu’emportera le vent.
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;	5 Que vienne le jugement, les impies ne tiendront pas: pas de place pour les pécheurs dans l’assemblée des justes.
6 for the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.	6 Le Seigneur veille sur les voies des justes, mais pour le pécheur à la fin, c’est l’échec.
