1 The LORD said to Moses,	1 Ekkor így szólt az Úr Mózeshez:
2 "On the first day of the first month you shall erect the tabernacle of the tent of meeting.	2 »Az első hónapban, a hó első napján, állítsd fel a bizonyság hajlékát!
3 And you shall put in it the ark of the testimony, and you shall screen the ark with the veil.	3 Helyezd el benne a ládát, és bocsásd le előtte a függönyt.
4 And you shall bring in the table, and set its arrangements in order; and you shall bring in the lampstand, and set up its lamps.	4 Azután vidd be az asztalt, és tedd rá azt, amit annak rendje és módja szerint megparancsoltam. Állítsd fel a mécstartót mécseseivel együtt.
5 And you shall put the golden altar for incense before the ark of the testimony, and set up the screen for the door of the tabernacle.	5 Helyezd az aranyoltárt, amelyen a füstölőszert égetik, a bizonyság ládája elé, és akaszd fel a függönyt a hajlék bejáratára.
6 You shall set the altar of burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting,	6 Ez elé aztán tedd az egészen elégő áldozat oltárát,
7 and place the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it.	7 az oltár és a sátor közé pedig a mosdómedencét, és ez utóbbit töltsd meg vízzel.
8 And you shall set up the court round about, and hang up the screen for the gate of the court.	8 Végül vond be a kárpitokkal az udvart körben és a bejáratnál.
9 Then you shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it, and consecrate it and all its furniture; and it shall become holy.	9 Aztán vedd a kenet olaját, és kend fel a hajlékot felszerelésével együtt, hogy szentté legyen.
10 You shall also anoint the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and consecrate the altar; and the altar shall be most holy.	10 Kend fel az egészen elégő áldozat oltárát és minden eszközét,
11 You shall also anoint the laver and its base, and consecrate it.	11 a mosdómedencét és talapzatát. Mindezt a kenet olajával szenteld fel, hogy szentek legyenek.
12 Then you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tent of meeting, and shall wash them with water,	12 Aztán állítsd Áront és fiait a bizonyság sátrának ajtajához, mosd meg őket vízzel,
13 and put upon Aaron the holy garments, and you shall anoint him and consecrate him, that he may serve me as priest.	13 aztán öltöztesd fel Áront a szent ruhákba, és kend fel őt és szenteld fel, hogy papként szolgáljon nekem.
14 You shall bring his sons also and put coats on them,	14 A fiait is állítsd oda és öltöztesd fel a köntösökbe,
15 and anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may serve me as priests: and their anointing shall admit them to a perpetual priesthood throughout their generations."	15 és szenteld fel őket, amint felszentelted apjukat, hogy papként szolgáljanak nekem, és felkenésük örökös papság legyen számukra nemzedékről nemzedékre.«
16 Thus did Moses; according to all that the LORD commanded him, so he did.	16 Meg is tette Mózes mindazt, amit az Úr parancsolt.
17 And in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was erected.	17 A második esztendő első hónapjában, a hónap első napján felállították tehát a hajlékot.
18 Moses erected the tabernacle; he laid its bases, and set up its frames, and put in its poles, and raised up its pillars;	18 Mózes felállította a hajlékot, elhelyezte a deszkákat, a talpakat és a reteszrudakat, felállította az oszlopokat,
19 and he spread the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent over it, as the LORD had commanded Moses.	19 ráterítette a hajlékra a fedelet, arra meg rátette a takarót, úgy, ahogy az Úr parancsolta.
20 And he took the testimony and put it into the ark, and put the poles on the ark, and set the mercy seat above on the ark;	20 Betette továbbá a bizonyságot a ládába, arra pedig rátette alul a rudakat, felül az engesztelőhelyet.
21 and he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the veil of the screen, and screened the ark of the testimony; as the LORD had commanded Moses.	21 Aztán bevitte a ládát a hajlékba, és felakasztotta elé a függönyt, hogy teljesítse az Úr parancsát.
22 And he put the table in the tent of meeting, on the north side of the tabernacle, outside the veil,	22 Aztán betette az asztalt a bizonyság sátrába, az északi oldalra, a függönyön kívülre,
23 and set the bread in order on it before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses.	23 és elrendezte rajta a kitett kenyereket, úgy, ahogy az Úr parancsolta Mózesnek.
24 And he put the lampstand in the tent of meeting, opposite the table on the south side of the tabernacle,	24 Betette a mécstartót is a bizonyság sátrába, szembe az asztallal, a déli oldalra,
25 and set up the lamps before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses.	25 és sorban rárakta a mécseseket az Úr parancsa szerint.
26 And he put the golden altar in the tent of meeting before the veil,	26 Betette az aranyoltárt is a bizonyság sátrába, a függöny elé,
27 and burnt fragrant incense upon it; as the LORD had commanded Moses.	27 és fűszerekből való füstölőszert gyújtott rajta, úgy, ahogy az Úr parancsolta Mózesnek.
28 And he put in place the screen for the door of the tabernacle.	28 Aztán felakasztotta a függönyt a bizonyság hajlékának bejáratára.
29 And he set the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the cereal offering; as the LORD had commanded Moses.	29 Elhelyezte az egészen elégő áldozat oltárát a bizonyság bejárata előtt, és egészen elégő és ételáldozatokat mutatott be rajta, úgy, ahogy az Úr parancsolta.
30 And he set the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it for washing,	30 Elhelyezte a mosdómedencét is a bizonyság sátra és az oltár közé, megtöltötte vízzel,
31 with which Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet;	31 és Mózes, valamint Áron és fiai megmosták kezüket és lábukat,
32 when they went into the tent of meeting, and when they approached the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses.	32 ha a szövetség sátrába mentek, vagy ha az oltárhoz járultak, úgy, ahogy az Úr parancsolta Mózesnek.
33 And he erected the court round the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work.	33 Felállította az udvart is, a hajlék és az oltár köré, és feltette bejáratára a függönyt. Így aztán minden elkészült.
34 Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.	34 Ekkor a felhő eltakarta a bizonyság sátrát, és betöltötte az Úr dicsősége.
35 And Moses was not able to enter the tent of meeting, because the cloud abode upon it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.	35 Mózes nem is tudott bemenni a szövetség sátrába, amíg a felhő mindent eltakart, és az Úr dicsősége tündöklött, mert mindent beborított a felhő.
36 Throughout all their journeys, whenever the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the people of Israel would go onward;	36 Ha felemelkedett a felhő a hajlékról, elindultak Izrael fiai, nemzetségenként;
37 but if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not go onward till the day that it was taken up.	37 ha állt felette, azon a helyen maradtak.
38 For throughout all their journeys the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was in it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel.	38 Nappal ugyanis az Úr felhője lebegett a hajlék felett, éjszaka pedig tűz, Izrael egész népének láttára, egész vándorlásuk alatt.
