1 He made an altar of bronze, twenty cubits long, and twenty cubits wide, and ten cubits high.	1 Fece uno altare [di metallo] di XX cubiti lungo, e di XX largo, e X alto.
2 Then he made the molten sea; it was round, ten cubits from brim to brim, and five cubits high, and a line of thirty cubits measured its circumference.	2 E fece uno mare fonduto, il quale era dell' uno labbro all'altro X cubiti, rotondo dintorno; per altezza avea cinque cubiti; e uno funicello il cerchiava dintorno, il quale era di XXX cubiti.
3 Under it were figures of gourds, for thirty cubits, compassing the sea round about; the gourds were in two rows, cast with it when it was cast.	3 E sotto il mare era similitudine di buoi; e di fuori (erano) alcune scolture di X cubiti quasi per due versi cerchiavano il labbro del mare. I buoi erano fonduti.
4 It stood upon twelve oxen, three facing north, three facing west, three facing south, and three facing east; the sea was set upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.	4 E sopra XII buoi era posto il mare, de' quali tre guardavano ad acquilone, e tre ad occidente; e gli altri tre a mezzodì, e gli altri tre che rimanevano ad oriente; e aveano il mare sopra posto a loro; la parte di rietro de' buoi era sotto il mare dentro.
5 Its thickness was a handbreadth; and its brim was made like the brim of a cup, like the flower of a lily; it held over three thousand baths.	5 E l'altezza sua era (quasi) d'uno palmo; e il suo labbro era quasi come d' uno calice, ovvero d'uno giglio rivoltato, e tenea (quasi come) III milia metrete.
6 He also made ten lavers in which to wash, and set five on the south side, and five on the north side. In these they were to rinse off what was used for the burnt offering, and the sea was for the priests to wash in.	6 E fece X conche; e V ne puose alla parte diritta, e cinque alla parte sinistra, acciò che lavasseno in quelle ciò che doveano offerire in olocausto; e nel mare si lavavano i sacerdoti.
7 And he made ten golden lampstands as prescribed, and set them in the temple, five on the south side and five on the north.	7 E fece X candellieri d' oro, secondo il modo ch' era comandato che [si] facessono; e puosegli nel tempio, cinque dalla parte diritta, e cinque dalla parte sinistra.
8 He also made ten tables, and placed them in the temple, five on the south side and five on the north. And he made a hundred basins of gold.	8 E anche fece X mense; e puosele nel tempio, cinque alla parte diritta, e cinque alla parte sinistra; e fece C ampolle d'oro.
9 He made the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and overlaid their doors with bronze;	9 E fece il palazzo de' sacerdoti, e la casa grande, e usci nella casa; le quali cose coperse di metallo.
10 and he set the sea at the southeast corner of the house.	10 E puose il mare dalla parte diritta contra ad oriente verso il mezzodie.
11 Huram also made the pots, the shovels, and the basins. So Huram finished the work that he did for King Solomon on the house of God:	11 E ancora fece Iram caldaje e pentole e ampolle; e fornio tutte l'opere del re nella casa di Dio,
12 the two pillars, the bowls, and the two capitals on the top of the pillars; and the two networks to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars;	12 cioè due colonne, e le loro capita e ornamenti di sopra, e quasi come reticelle, le quali copersero le capita e le dette ornamenta,
13 and the four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, two rows of pomegranates for each network, to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were upon the pillars.	13 e quattrocento melegrane, e reticelle due, per tal modo che due ordini di melegrane si giugnessero per ciascuna reticella, la quale difendesse l'ornamento di sopra le colonne e capita loro.
14 He made the stands also, and the lavers upon the stands,	14 E fece le basi e conche, le quali puose in su le basi,
15 and the one sea, and the twelve oxen underneath it.	15 uno mare, e XII buoi di sotto al mare,
16 The pots, the shovels, the forks, and all the equipment for these Huram-abi made of burnished bronze for King Solomon for the house of the LORD.	16 e laveggi e caldaje e ampolle. Tutti questi vasi fece Iram a Salomone, nella casa di Dio, di metallo mondissimo.
17 In the plain of the Jordan the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zeredah.	17 Nelle parti del Giordano fondelle il re nella terra cretosa, tra Socot e Saredata.
18 Solomon made all these things in great quantities, so that the weight of the bronze was not ascertained.	18 Ed erano innumerabili le moltitudini delle vasa, sì che non si sapea il peso del metallo.
19 So Solomon made all the things that were in the house of God: the golden altar, the tables for the bread of the Presence,	19 Onde si fece Salomone tutte le vasa (del metallo) alla casa di Dio, e l'altare di oro e le mense, e sopra quelle i pani della proposizione;
20 the lampstands and their lamps of pure gold to burn before the inner sanctuary, as prescribed;	20 e' candellieri con le sue lucerne, acciò che lucessono dinanzi all' oracolo secondo l'usanza, di purissimo oro;
21 the flowers, the lamps, and the tongs, of purest gold;	21 e certi fiori e lucerne e molle d' oro; tutte furono fatte d'oro purissimo;
22 the snuffers, basins, dishes for incense, and firepans, of pure gold; and the sockets of the temple, for the inner doors to the most holy place and for the doors of the nave of the temple were of gold.	22 e' vasi di timiama e turiboli e ampolle e mortarioli d'oro purissimo. E scolpì l'uscia del tempio dentro, cioè di SANCTA SANCTORUM; ed erano l'uscia del tempio di fuori d' oro. E così fu compiuto tutto il lavorìo, il quale fece Salomone [nella casa del Signore].
