1 So all Israel was enrolled by genealogies; and these are written in the Book of the Kings of Israel. And Judah was taken into exile in Babylon because of their unfaithfulness.	1 Si è adunque fatto il conto di tutto quanto Israele: e il numero, a cui ascendevano, fu scritto nel catasto dei re d'Israele, e di Giuda. Ed eglino furon trasportati a Babilonia pei loro peccati.
2 Now the first to dwell again in their possessions in their cities were Israel, the priests, the Levites, and the temple servants.	2 Quelli poi, che abitarono i primi nelle loro possessioni, e nelle loro città, furono gli Israeliti, i Sacerdoti, i Leviti, e i Nathinei.
3 And some of the people of Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim, and Manasseh dwelt in Jerusalem:	3 Dimorarono in Gerusalemme parte de' figliuoli di Giuda, e de' figliuoli di Beniamin, e anche de' figliuoli di Ephraim, e di Manasse;

12 and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, son of Pashhur, son of Malchijah, and Maasai the son of Adi-el, son of Jahzerah, son of Meshullam, son of Meshillemith, son of Immer;	12 E Adaia figliuolo di Jeroham, figliuolo di Phassur, figliuolo di Melchia: e Maasai figliuolo di Adiel, figliuolo di Jezra, figliuolo di Mosollam, figliuolo di Mosollamith, figliuolo di Emraer:
13 besides their kinsmen, heads of their fathers' houses, one thousand seven hundred and sixty, very able men for the work of the service of the house of God.	13 E insieme i loro fratelli capi delle loro famiglie in numero di mille settecento sessanta uomini robusti, e vigorosi per portar le fatiche del ministero nella casa del Signore.

15 and Bakbakkar, Heresh, Galal, and Mattaniah the son of Mica, son of Zichri, son of Asaph;	15 E Bacbacar legnaiuolo, e Galal, e Mathania figliuolo di Micha, figliuolo di Zechri, figliuolo di Asaph;
16 and Obadiah the son of Shemaiah, son of Galal, son of Jeduthun, and Berechiah the son of Asa, son of Elkanah, who dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.	16 E Obdia figliuolo di Semeia, figliuolo di Galal, figliuolo d'Idithun; e Barachia figliuolo di Asa, figliuolo di Elcana, il quale abitò nei villaggi di Netophati.

20 And Phinehas the son of Eleazar was the ruler over them in time past; the LORD was with him.	20 E Phinees figliuolo di Eleazaro era loro capo nel servigio del Signore.
21 Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was gatekeeper at the entrance of the tent of meeting.	21 E Zacharia figliuolo di Mosallamia era custode della porta del tabernacolo del testimonio.
22 All these, who were chosen as gatekeepers at the thresholds, were two hundred and twelve. They were enrolled by genealogies in their villages. 28 Some of them had charge of the utensils of service, for they were required to count them when they were brought in and taken out.	28 Di questi alcuni aveano la custodia dei vasi, che servono pel ministero; perocché si contavano i vasi, quando si mettevano fuora, e quando si rimettevano dentro.
29 Others of them were appointed over the furniture, and over all the holy utensils, also over the fine flour, the wine, the oil, the incense, and the spices.	29 Di questi, che avean la custodia dei vasi del Santuario, alcuni avean cura della farina, e del vino, e dell'olio, e dell'incenso, e degli aromi.
30 Others, of the sons of the priests, prepared the mixing of the spices,	30 Ma erano i figliuoli de' sacerdoti quelli, che facevan gli unguenti cogli aromi.
31 and Mattithiah, one of the Levites, the first-born of Shallum the Korahite, was in charge of making the flat cakes.	31 E Mathathia Levita primogenito di Sellum di Core avea cura di tutto quello, che si friggeva nella padella.

41 The sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tahre-a, and Ahaz;	41 Figliuoli di Micha: Phiton, e Melech, e Tharaa, e Ahaz.
42 and Ahaz was the father of Jarah, and Jarah of Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri was the father of Moza.	42 E Ahaz generò Jara, e Jara generò Alamath, e Azmoth, e Zamri; e Zamri generò Mosa;
43 Moza was the father of Bine-a; and Rephaiah was his son, Ele-asah his son, Azel his son.	43 Mosa generò Banaa, il di cui figliuolo Raphaia generò Elasa, da cui nacque Asel.
44 Azel had six sons and these are their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, She-ariah, Obadiah, and Hanan; these were the sons of Azel.	44 Or Asel ebbe sei figliuoli, i nomi de' quali furono: Ezricam, Bocru, Ismael, Saria, Obdia. Hanan: questi sono i figliuoli di Asel.
