1 The divisions of the sons of Aaron were these. The sons of Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.	1 I figliuoli d'Aaronne furon divisi in queste classi: Figliuoli d'Aaronne: Nadab, e Abiu, ed Eleazar, e Ithamar.
2 But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children, so Eleazar and Ithamar became the priests.	2 E morirono Nadab, e Abiu prima del padre loro senza figliuoli: e fecero le funzioni del sacerdozio Eleazar, e Ithamar.
3 With the help of Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, David organized them according to the appointed duties in their service.	3 E Davidde li divise, viene a dire, la famiglia di Sadoc figliuolo di Eleazaro, e quella di Ahimelech della casa d'Ithamar, fissando i turni del loro ministero.
4 Since more chief men were found among the sons of Eleazar than among the sons of Ithamar, they organized them under sixteen heads of fathers' houses of the sons of Eleazar, and eight of the sons of Ithamar.	4 E si trovarono in molto maggior numero i capi di famiglie discendenti da Eleazaro, che quelli d'Ithamar. Ed egli distribuì i discendenti di Eleazaro in sedici famiglie con un capo per ogni famiglia: e quelli di Ithamar in otto famiglie;
5 They organized them by lot, all alike, for there were officers of the sanctuary and officers of God among both the sons of Eleazar and the sons of Ithamar.	5 E le funzioni dell'una, e dell'altra famiglia le tirò a sorte: perchè tanto i discendenti di Eleazaro, come quelli di Ithamar erano principi del Santuario, e principi di Dio.
6 And the scribe Shemaiah the son of Nethanel, a Levite, recorded them in the presence of the king, and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and the heads of the fathers' houses of the priests and of the Levites; one father's house being chosen for Eleazar and one chosen for Ithamar.	6 E Semeia figliuolo di Nathanael della tribù di Levi, e segretario ne fece la descrizione alla presenza del re, e de' magnati, e di Sadoc Sacerdote, e di Ahimelech figliuolo di Abiathar, e dei capi delle famiglie sacerdotali, e Levitiche, prendendo alternativamente la casa di Eleazaro, che era sopra le altre: e la casa d'Ithamar, che altre ne avea sotto di se.
7 The first lot fell to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,	7 E il primo turno toccò a Joiarib, il secondo a Jedeo,
8 the third to Harim, the fourth to Se-orim,	8 Il terzo ad Harim, il quarto a Seorim,
9 the fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,	9 Il quinto a Melchia, il sesto a Maiman,
10 the seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,	10 Il settimo ad Accos, l'ottavo ad Abia.
11 the ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,	11 Il nono a Jesua, il decimo a Sechenia,

19 These had as their appointed duty in their service to come into the house of the LORD according to the procedure established for them by Aaron their father, as the LORD God of Israel had commanded him.	19 Ecco le loro distribuzioni secondo i lor ministeri, affinchè entrino nella casa del Signore secondo il loro turno secondo gli ordini d'Aaronne loro padre: come avea prescritto il Signore Dio d'Israele.
20 And of the rest of the sons of Levi: of the sons of Amram, Shuba-el; of the sons of Shuba-el, Jehdeiah.	20 Or gli altri figliuoli di Levi erano Subael de' figliuoli di Amram, e Jehedeia de' figliuoli di Subael.
21 Of Rehabiah: of the sons of Rehabiah, Isshiah the chief.	21 E de figliuoli di Rohobia era capo Jesia.
22 Of the Izharites, Shelomoth; of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath.	22 Salemoth figliuolo d'Isaari, e Jahath figliuolo di Salemoth.
23 The sons of Hebron: Jeriah the chief, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.	23 E il figliuolo primogenito di Jahath Jeriau, il secondo Amaria, il terzo Jahaziel, il quarto Jecmaan.
24 The sons of Uzziel, Micah; of the sons of Micah, Shamir.	24 Figliuolo di Oziel, Micha: figliuolo di Micha, Samir.
25 The brother of Micah, Isshiah; of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah.	25 Fratello di Micha, Jesia: e Zachària era figliuolo di Jesia.
26 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. The sons of Ja-aziah: Beno.	26 Figliuoli di Merari: Moholi, e Musi: figliuolo di Oziau, Benno,
27 The sons of Merari: of Ja-aziah, Beno, Shoham, Zaccur, and Ibri.	27 Figliuolo ancora di Meran Oziau; e Soam e Zachur, ed Hebri,
28 Of Mahli: Eleazar, who had no sons.	28 Moholi ebbe un figliuolo, cioè Eleazaro, il quale non ebbe figliuoli.
29 Of Kish, the sons of Kish: Jerahmeel.	29 Figliuolo di Cis, Jerameel.
30 The sons of Mushi: Mahli, Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites according to their fathers' houses.	30 Figliuoli di Musi: Moholi, Eder, e Jerimoth. Questi sono i figliuoli di Levi secondo la diramazione delle loro famiglie.
31 These also, the head of each father's house and his younger brother alike, cast lots, just as their brethren the sons of Aaron, in the presence of King David, Zadok, Ahimelech, and the heads of fathers' houses of the priests and of the Levites.	31 Ed eglino pure tirarono a sorte a imitazione de' loro fratelli figliuoli d'Aaronne dinanzi al re David, e a Sadoc e ad Ahimelech, e dinanzi ai capi delle famiglie sacerdotali, e Levitiche: i maggiori, e i minori, tutti egualmente tiravano a sorte.
