Jude 1

1 Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to those who are beloved in God the Father, and who are guarded and called in Jesus Christ:	1 Judas, Knecht Jesu Christi, Bruder des Jakobus, an die Berufenen, die in der Liebe Gottes, des Vaters, stehen und in Christus bewahrt sind.
2 May mercy, and peace, and love be fulfilled in you.	2 Erbarmen euch und Friede und Liebe in reicher Fülle.
3 Most beloved, taking all care to write to you about your common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you in order to beg you to contend earnestly for the faith that was handed down once to the saints.	3 Geliebte! In der Absicht, euch aus ganzer Besorgtheit über unser gemeinsames Heil zu schreiben, hielt ich es für nötig, euch schriftlich zu ermahnen, daß ihr euch einsetzet für den Glauben, der ein für allemal den Heiligen übergeben wurde.
4 For certain men entered unnoticed, who were written of beforehand unto this judgment: impious persons who are transforming the grace of our God into self-indulgence, and who are denying both the sole Ruler and our Lord Jesus Christ.	4 Denn es haben sich gewisse Leute eingeschlichen, die längst schon vorgemerkt sind für dieses Gericht, Gottlose, die die Gnade unseres Gottes mißbrauchen zur Ausschweifung und unseren einzigen Gebieter und Herrn, Jesus Christus, leugnen.
5 So I want to caution you. Those who once knew everything that Jesus did, in saving the people from the land of Egypt, afterwards perished because they did not believe.	5 Ich will euch, auch wenn ihr das alles schon wißt, ins Gedächtnis rufen, daß der Herr zwar sein Volk aus dem Lande Ägypten rettete, das zweitemal aber die nicht Glaubenden zugrunde richtete.
6 And truly, the Angels, who did not keep to their first place, but instead abandoned their own domiciles, he has reserved with perpetual chains under darkness, unto the great day of judgment.	6 Auch die Engel, die ihre Würde nicht wahrten, sondern ihre Stätte preisgaben, hält er für das Gericht des großen Tages mit ewigen Fesseln in der Finsternis in Verwahrung.
7 And also Sodom and Gomorrah, and the adjoining cities, in similar ways, having given themselves over to fornication and to the pursuing of other flesh, were made an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire.	7 Wie Sodoma und Gomorra und die umliegenden Städte, die auf ähnliche Weise wie sie Unzucht trieben und unnatürlicher Wollust nachgingen, stehen sie als Beispiel da und erleiden die Strafe ewigen Feuers.
8 Similarly also, these ones certainly defile the flesh, and they despise proper authority, and they blaspheme against majesty.	8 Geradeso beflecken auch diese Träumer ihr Fleisch, mißachten Herrschermacht und schmähen Herrlichkeiten.
9 When Michael the Archangel, disputing with the devil, contended about the body of Moses, he did not dare to bring against him a judgment of blasphemy, so instead he said: “The Lord commands you.”	9 Nicht einmal der Erzengel Michael wagte, als er mit dem Teufel kämpfte und um den Leib des Moses stritt, ein schmähendes Urteil zu äußern, sondern sprach: "Der Herr soll dich strafen."
10 But these men certainly blaspheme against whatever they do not understand. And yet, whatever they, like mute animals, know from nature, in these things they are corrupted.	10 Diese aber schmähen, was sie nicht kennen; an dem aber, was sie naturhaft, gleich den vernunftlosen Tieren, verstehen, gehen sie zugrunde.
11 Woe to them! For they have gone after the way of Cain, and they have poured out the error of Balaam for profit, and they have perished in the sedition of Korah.	11 Wehe ihnen! Sie begaben sich auf den Weg des Kain und sind dem Irrwahn des lohnsüchtigen Balaam verfallen und ins Verderben gestürzt wie Kore in seiner Widersetzlichkeit.
12 These ones are defiled within their banquets, enjoying themselves and feeding themselves without fear; waterless clouds, which are tossed about by winds; autumn trees, unfruitful, twice dead, uprooted;	12 Sie sind die Schandflecken bei euren Liebesmahlen, die ohne jede Scheu mitschmausen und sich mästen; wasserlose Wolken sind sie, von Winden umhergetrieben, spätherbstliche Bäume, ohne Frucht, zweimal abgestorben und entwurzelt,
13 raging waves of the sea, foaming from their own confusion; wandering stars, for whom the whirlwind of darkness has been reserved forever!	13 wilde Wogen des Meeres, die ihre eigenen Schändlichkeiten ausschäumen, Irrsterne, denen für ewig die dunkelste Finsternis vorbehalten bleibt.
14 And about these, Enoch, the seventh from Adam, also prophesied, saying: “Behold, the Lord is arriving with thousands of his saints,	14 Für sie gerade hat Henoch, der siebente Nachkomme Adams, geweissagt: "Siehe, es kommt der Herr mit seinen Zehntausenden [von Heiligen],
15 to execute judgment against everyone, and to reprove all the impious concerning all the works of their impiety, by which they have acted impiously, and concerning all the harsh things that impious sinners have spoken against God.”	15 um Gericht zu halten über alle und alle Gottlosen zur Rechenschaft zu zieen wegen all lhrer gottwidrigen Werke, die sie verübt, und wegen all der Lästerungen, die sie ausgesprochen haben wider ihn als gottlose Sünder."
16 These ones are complaining murmurers, walking according to their own desires. And their mouth is speaking arrogance, admiring persons for the sake of gain.	16 Sie sind störrische, unzufriedene Leute; sie leben dahin nach ihren Leidenschaften, und ihr Mund führt anmaßende Reden, wobei sie den Menschen schöntun um des Vorteils willen.
17 But as for you, most beloved, be mindful of the words which have been foretold by the Apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ,	17 Ihr aber, Geliebte, erinnert euch der Worte, die von den Aposteln unseres Herrn Jesus Christus im voraus verkündet wurden,
18 who declared to you that, in the end time, there would arrive mockers, walking according to their own desires, in impieties.	18 da sie euch sagten, daß am Ende der Zeit Spötter auftreten werden, die nach ihren gottwidrigen Lüsten leben;
19 These are the ones who segregate themselves; they are animals, not having the Spirit.	19 sie sind es, die Zwietracht stiften, Sinnenmenschen, die den Geist nicht haben.
20 But you, most beloved, are building yourselves up by your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,	20 Ihr aber, Geliebte, baut euch auf in eurem hochheiligen Glauben; betet in Heiligem Geiste!
21 keeping yourselves in the love of God, and anticipating the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.	21 Bewahrt euch in der Liebe Gottes, indes ihr wartet auf das Erbarmen unseres Herrn Jesus Christus, dem eurigen Leben entgegen!
22 So certainly, reprove them, after they have been judged.	22 Weist die einen, die schwanken, zur Rechten;
23 Yet truly, save them, seizing them from the fire. And have mercy on others: in fear, hating even that which is of the flesh, the defiled garment.	23 rettet die anderen und entreißt sie dem Feuer, nehmt euch mitfühlend anderer an, jedoch in Furcht, indem ihr sogar von dem durch das Fleisch beschmutzten Kleide euch abwendet.
24 Then, to him who has the power to keep you free from sin and to present you, immaculate, with exultation, before the presence of his glory at the advent of our Lord Jesus Christ,	24 Ihm aber, der Macht hat, euch ohne Fall zu bewahren und euch makellos und voll Jubel hintreten zu lassen vor seine Herrlichkeit [bei der Ankunft unseres Herrn Jesus Christus],
25 to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord: to him be glory and magnificence, dominion and power, before all ages, and now, and in every age, forever. Amen.	25 ihm, dem einen Gott, unserem Retter, ist durch Jesus Christus, unseren Herrn, Herrlichkeit, Hoheit, Gewalt und Macht vor aller Zeit und jetzt und in Ewigkeit. Amen.
