1 And so, the lot of the sons of Judah, by their families, was this: from the border of Edom, to the desert of Sin toward the south, and even to the furthest part of the southern region.	1 Ο δε κληρος της φυλης των υιων Ιουδα κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων ητο εις τα ορια της Ιδουμαιας? η ερημος Σιν η προς νοτον ητο το ακρον το μεσημβρινον.
2 Its beginning was from the summit of the very salty sea, and from its bay, which looks toward the south.	2 Και τα μεσημβρινα αυτων ορια ησαν απο των παραλιων της αλμυρας θαλασσης, απο του κολπου του βλεποντος προς μεσημβριαν?
3 And it extends toward the ascent of the Scorpion, and it passes on to Sinai. And it ascends into Kadesh-barnea, and it passes through to Hezron, ascending to Addar, and encompassing Karka.	3 και εξετεινοντο προς το μεσημβρινον μερος εις την αναβασιν Ακραββιμ, και διεβαινον εις Σιν και ανεβαινον απο μεσημβριας εις Καδης-βαρνη, και διεβαινον την Εσρων και ανεβαινον εις Αδδαρ και εστρεφον προς Καρκαα?
4 And from there, it passes on to Azmon, and reaches to the torrent of Egypt. And its boundary shall be the great sea; this shall be the limit of the southern region.	4 και διεβαινον εις Ασμων και εξηρχοντο εως του χειμαρρου της Αιγυπτου, και ετελειονον τα ορια εις την θαλασσαν? ταυτα θελουσιν εισθαι τα μεσημβρινα ορια σας.
5 Yet truly, toward the east, the beginning shall be the very salty sea, even to the limit of the Jordan, and that which looks toward the north, from the bay of the sea, even to the same river Jordan.	5 Το δε ανατολικον οριον ητο η θαλασσα η αλμυρα, εως ακρου του Ιορδανου. Και το οριον κατα το βορειον μερος ηρχετο απο του κολπου της θαλασσης κατα το ακρον του Ιορδανου?
6 And the border ascends into Beth-hoglah, and it crosses from the north into Beth-Arabah, ascending to the stone of Bohan, the son of Reuben.	6 και ανεβαινε το οριον εως Βαιθ-ογλα, και διεβαινεν απο βορρα της Βαιθ-αραβα? και ανεβαινε το οριον εως του λιθου του Βοαν υιου του Ρουβην?
7 And it reaches as far as the borders of Debara, from the Valley of Achor, to the north, looking toward Gilgal, which is opposite the Ascent of Adummim, on the southern part of the torrent. And it crosses the waters that are called the Fountain of the Sun. And its exit shall be at the Fountain of Rogel.	7 και ανεβαινε το οριον προς Δεβειρ απο της κοιλαδος Αχωρ, και εξετεινετο προς βορραν βλεπον εις Γαλγαλα, την κατεναντι της αναβασεως Αδουμμιμ, ητις ειναι προς το μεσημβρινον του ποταμου? επειτα διεβαινε το οριον επι τα υδατα του Εν-σεμες, και εξηρχετο εις Εν-ρωγηλ?
8 And it ascends by the steep valley of the son of Hinnom, from the side of the Jebusite, toward the south; this is Jerusalem. And from there, it raises itself to the top of the mountain, which is opposite Geennom to the west, at the top of the Valley of the Rephaim, to the north.	8 και ανεβαινε το οριον δια της φαραγγος του υιου του Εννομ κατα το μεσημβρινον πλαγιον της Ιεβους? αυτη ειναι η Ιερουσαλημ? και ανεβαινε το οριον εις την κορυφην του ορους, του κατεναντι της φαραγγος Εννομ προς δυσμας, ητις ειναι εις το τελος της κοιλαδος των Ραφαειμ προς βορραν?
9 And it passes through, from the top of the mountain, even to the fountain of the Water of Nephtoah. And it continues on, as far as the villages of mount Ephron. And it inclines toward Baalah, which is Kiriath-jearim, that is, the City of Forests.	9 και διεβαινε το οριον απο της κορυφης του ορους εως της πηγης των υδατων Νεφθωα, και εξηρχετο εις τας κωμοπολεις του ορους Εφρων? και διευθυνετο το οριον εις Βααλα, ητις ειναι η Κιριαθ-ιαρειμ?
10 And it circles from Baalah, to the west, as far as mount Seir. And it passes by the side of mount Jearim, to the north, into Chesalon. And it descends into Beth-shemesh, and it passes through to Timnah.	10 και εστρεφε το οριον απο Βααλα προς δυσμας εις το ορος Σηειρ, και διεβαινεν εις το πλαγιον του ορους Ιαρειμ, οπου ειναι η Χασαλων, προς βορραν? και κατεβαινεν εις την Βαιθ-σεμες και διεβαινεν εις Θαμνα?
11 And it continues on, toward the north, to a region beside Ekron. And it inclines toward Shikkeron, and it crosses to mount Baalah. And it extends into Jabneel, and the last part closes at the west with the great sea.	11 επειτα εξηρχετο το οριον εις το πλαγιον της Ακκαρων προς βορραν? και διευθυνετο το οριον εις Σικρων, και διεβαινεν εις το ορος της Βααλα, και εξηρχετο εις Ιαβνηλ, και εκαμνε το οριον διεξοδον εις την θαλασσαν.
12 These are the borders of the sons of Judah, in their families, on all sides.	12 Και το οριον το δυτικον ητο η θαλασσα η μεγαλη και τα παραλια. Ταυτα ειναι τα ορια των υιων Ιουδα κυκλω, κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων.
13 Yet truly, to Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, he gave a portion in the midst of the sons of Judah, just as the Lord had instructed him: the City of Arba, the father of Anak, which is Hebron.	13 Και εις τον Χαλεβ τον υιον του Ιεφοννη εδωκε μεριδιον μεταξυ των υιων Ιουδα, κατα την προσταγην του Κυριου την προς τον Ιησουν, την πολιν του Αρβα πατρος του Ανακ, ητις ειναι η Χεβρων.
14 And Caleb destroyed from it the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, of the stock of Anak.	14 Και εξεδιωξεν εκειθεν ο Χαλεβ τους τρεις υιους του Ανακ, τον Σεσαι και τον Αχιμαν και τον Θαλμαι, τους υιους του Ανακ.
15 And ascending further from there, he came to the inhabitants of Debir, which before was called Kiriath-Sepher, that is, the City of Letters.	15 Και εκειθεν ανεβη επι τους κατοικους της Δεβειρ? το δε ονομα της Δεβειρ προτερον ητο Κιριαθ-σεφερ.
16 And Caleb said, “Whoever will have struck down Kiriath-Sepher, and will have seized it, I will give to him Achsah, my daughter, as wife.”	16 Και ειπεν ο Χαλεβ, Οστις παταξη την Κιριαθ-σεφερ και κυριευση αυτην, θελω δωσει εις τουτον Αχσαν την θυγατερα μου εις γυναικα.
17 And Othniel, the son of Kenaz, the younger brother of Caleb, seized it. And he gave him Achsah, his daughter, as wife.	17 Και εκυριευσεν αυτην Γοθονιηλ ο υιος του Κενεζ αδελφος του Χαλεβ? και εδωκεν εις αυτον Αχσαν την θυγατερα αυτου εις γυναικα.
18 And as they were traveling together, she was urged by her husband that she ask her father for a field. And she sighed, as she was sitting on her donkey. And Caleb said to her, “What is it?”	18 Και αυτη, οτε απηρχετο, παρεκινησεν αυτον να ζητηση παρα του πατρος αυτης αγρον? και κατεβη απο του ονου, και ειπε προς αυτην ο Χαλεβ, Τι θελεις;
19 But she answered: “Give a blessing to me. You have given to me a southern and dry land; join to it also a watered land.” And so Caleb gave to her the watered land above and below it.	19 Η δε ειπε, Δος μοι ευλογιαν? επειδη εδωκας εις εμε γην μεσημβρινην, δος μοι και πηγας υδατων. Και εδωκεν εις αυτην τας ανω πηγας και τας κατω πηγας.
20 This is the possession of the tribe of the sons of Judah, by their families.	20 Αυτη ειναι η κληρονομια της φυλης των υιων Ιουδα κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων.
21 And the cities, from the furthest parts of the sons of Judah, beside the borders of Edom to the south, were: Kabzeel and Eder and Jagur,	21 Και ησαν αι εσχαται πολεις της φυλης των υιων Ιουδα προς τα ορια της Εδωμ προς μεσημβριαν, Καβσεηλ, και Εδερ, και Ιαγουρ,
22 and Kinah and Dimonah and Adadah,	22 και Κινα, και Διμωνα, και Αδαδα,
23 and Kadesh and Hazor and Ithnan,	23 και Κεδες, και Ασωρ, και Ιθναν,
24 Ziph and Telem and Bealoth,	24 Ζιφ, και Τελεμ, και Βαλωθ,
25 new Hazor and Kerioth-Hezron, which is Hazor,	25 και Ασωρ, Αδαττα, και Κιριωθ-εσρων, η και Ασωρ,
26 Amam, Shema, and Moladah,	26 Αμαμ, και Σεμα, και Μωλαδα,
27 and Hazar-gaddah and Heshmon and Bethpelet,	27 και Ασαρ-γαδδα, και Εσεμων, και Βαιθ-φαλεθ,
28 and Hazar-shual and Beersheba and Biziothiah,	28 και Ασαρ-σουαλ, και Βηρ-σαβεε, και Βιζιοθια,
29 and Baalah and Iim and Ezem,	29 Βααλα, και Ιειμ, και Ασεμ,
30 and Eltolad and Chesil and Hormah,	30 και Ελθωλαδ, και Χεσιλ, και Ορμα,
31 and Ziklag and Madmannah and Sansannah,	31 και Σικλαγ, και Μαδμαννα, και Σανσαννα,
32 Lebaoth and Shilhim, and Ain and Rimmon. All the cities were twenty-nine, and their villages.	32 και Λεβαωθ, και Σιλεειμ, και Αειν, και Ριμμων? πασαι αι πολεις εικοσι εννεα, και αι κωμαι αυτων.
33 Truly, in the plains, there were: Eshtaol and Zorah and Ashnah,	33 Εν τη πεδινη ησαν Εσθαολ, και Σαραα, και Ασνα,
34 and Zanoah and Engannim, and Tappuah and Enam,	34 και Ζανωα, και Εν-γαννιμ, Θαπφουα, και Ηναμ,
35 and Jarmuth and Adullam, Socoh and Azekah,	35 Ιαρμουθ, και Οδολλαμ, Σωχω, και Αζηκα,
36 and Shaaraim and Adithaim, and Gederah and Gederothaim: fourteen cities, and their villages.	36 και Σαγαρειμ, και Αδιθαειμ, και Γεδηρα, και αι επαυλεις αυτων, πολεις δεκατεσσαρες, και αι κωμαι αυτων.
37 Zenan and Hadashah and Middalgad,	37 Σεναν, και Αδασα, και Μαγδαλ-γαδ,
38 Dilean and Mizpeh and Joktheel,	38 και Διλααν, και Μισπα, και Ιοκθεηλ,
39 Lachish and Bozkath and Eglon,	39 Λαχεις, και Βασκαθ, και Εγλων,
40 Cabbon and Lahmam and Chitlish,	40 και Χαββων, και Λαμας, και Χιθλεις,
41 and Gederoth and Bethdagon, and Naamah and Makkedah: sixteen cities, and their villages.	41 και Γεδηρωθ, Βαιθ-δαγων, και Νααμα, και Μακκηδα, πολεις δεκαεξ, και αι κωμαι αυτων.
42 Libnah and Ether and Ashan,	42 Λιβνα, και Εθερ, και Ασαν,
43 Iphtah and Ashnah and Nezib,	43 και Ιεφθα, και Ασνα, και Νεσιβ,
44 and Keilah and Achzib and Mareshah: nine cities, and their villages.	44 και Κεειλα, και Αχζιβ, και Μαρησα, πολεις εννεα, και αι κωμαι αυτων.
45 Ekron, with its towns and villages:	45 Ακκαρων, και αι κωμοπολεις αυτης, και αι κωμαι αυτης?
46 from Ekron, as far as the sea, all that inclines toward Ashdod, and its villages.	46 απο της Ακκαρων εως της θαλασσης, πασαι αι πλησιον της Αζωτου, και αι κωμαι αυτων.
47 Ashdod, with its towns and villages. Gaza, with its towns and villages, as far as the torrent of Egypt, with the great sea as its border.	47 Αζωτος, αι κωμοπολεις αυτης και αι κωμαι αυτης, Γαζα, αι κωμοπολεις αυτης και αι κωμαι αυτης, εως του χειμαρρου της Αιγυπτου, και η θαλασσα η μεγαλη το οριον.
48 And on the mountain, Shamir and Jattir and Socoh,	48 Και εν τη ορεινη, Σαμειρ, και Ιαθειρ, και Σωχω,
49 and Dannah, and Kiriath-Sannah, which is Debir,	49 και Δαννα, και Κιριαθ-σαννα, ητις ειναι η Δεβειρ,
50 Anab and Eshtemoh and Anim,	50 και Αναβ, και Εσθεμω, και Ανειμ,
51 Goshen and Holon and Giloh: eleven cities, and their villages.	51 και Γεσεν, και Ωλων, και Γιλω, πολεις ενδεκα, και αι κωμαι αυτων.
52 Arab and Dumah and Eshan,	52 Αραβ, και Δουμα, και Εσαν,
53 and Janim and Beth-Tappuah and Aphekah,	53 και Ιανουμ, και Βαιθ-θαπφουα, και Αφεκα,
54 Humtah and Kiriath-Arba, which is Hebron, and Zior: nine cities, and their villages.	54 και Χουματα, και Κιριαθ-αρβα, ητις ειναι η Χεβρων, και Σιωρ, πολεις εννεα, και αι κωμαι αυτων.
55 Maon and Carmel, and Ziph and Juttah,	55 Μαων, Καρμελ, και Ζιφ, και Ιουτα,
56 Jezreel and Jokdeam and Zanoah,	56 και Ιεζραελ, και Ιοκδεαμ, και Ζανωα,
57 Kain, Gibeah, and Timnah: ten cities, and their villages.	57 Ακαιν, Γαβαα, και Θαμνα, πολεις δεκα, και αι κωμαι αυτων.
58 Halhul and Bethzur and Gedor,	58 Αλουλ, Βαιθ-σουρ, και Γεδωρ,
59 Maarath and Bethanoth and Eltekon: six cities, and their villages.	59 και Μααραθ, και Βαιθ-ανωθ, και Ελτεκων, πολεις εξ, και αι κωμαι αυτων.
60 Kiriath-baal, which is Kiriath-jearim, the City of Forests, and Rabbah: two cities, and their villages.	60 Κιριαθ-βααλ, ητις ειναι η Κιριαθ-ιαρειμ, και Ραββα, πολεις δυο, και αι κωμαι αυτων.
61 In the desert: Beth-Arabah, Middin, and Secacah,	61 Εν τη ερημω, Βαιθ-αραβα, Μιδδιν, και Σεχαχα,
62 and Nibshan, and the City of Salt, and Engedi: six cities, and their villages.	62 και Νιβσαν, και η πολις του αλατος, και Εν-γαδδι, πολεις εξ, και αι κωμαι αυτων.
63 But the sons of Judah were not able to destroy the Jebusite inhabitants of Jerusalem. And so the Jebusite lived with the sons of Judah in Jerusalem, even to the present day.	63 τους δε Ιεβουσαιους, τους κατοικουντας την Ιερουσαλημ, οι υιοι Ιουδα δεν ηδυνηθησαν να εκδιωξωσιν αυτους? αλλα κατοικουσιν οι Ιεβουσαιοι μετα των υιων Ιουδα εν τη Ιερουσαλημ εως της ημερας ταυτης.
